Fluttery sweetness all the way

I'm the author fan and I had to read the book before watching the drama. The book is so sweet and the drama made it even 200% sweeter. It's a fresh new topic, a new kind of hero. I really like Mo Bao Fei Bao's male lead characters. In case of Lin Yi Yang, though he seems to be poor and trapped in the past, his heroic charisma still shines through his actions. And Leo has perfectly portrayed the complex emotions of the character. Though Lin Yi Yang is a fool in love but what makes the story so sweet is how Yin Guo so bravely love him too. It's how they love each other that makes me read the book over and over again, and watch the drama over and over again too.
It's awesome that the production quality is really high, unlike many other romcom C-drama. I was surprised to see that they actually filmed it in another country. I was so curious starting to read because the setting in the book is in New York. The production team is so brilliant in finding the locations and sets that match most of the original story (probably thanks to the investors). Plus I was impressed with people actually speaking some decent English, and foreign actors actually speak English (except for Berry, and in other dramas even foreigners speak like perfect Chinese). I highly appreciate this fact for the production team and the cast.
One last note but all of the male cast are so handsome hahaha, especially An Mei (idk why Yi Yang call him "mei"?) and Wu Wei whom I've never seen before.

The drama is an excellent interpretation of the original story, which is a short, simple, and straightforward sweet love story. It brings the voice acting and gufeng music to life and with extra performance as well. About 70% of new and extensive details to the original story are well developed and intertwined with the original characteristics. I like the development of the 10th Anni stage and the Gufeng Music Festival stage, it helps exhibit the core strength of Qiang Qing Ci as the main character, it also gives a complete end to the story of him as a voice actor. Somehow this detail helps to make him even bigger than life, more heroic, like many of Mo Bao Fei Bao's male lead. They don't list her here as the screenwriter i'll make a "guestimate" that she also participates in the scriptwriting.
Another thing about the story that I love Feng Ya Song and Dou Dou couple so much, maybe it's just because of their good looking, and looking cute together. But I do feel that the 5 brothers part around Gu Sheng can be omitted from the storyline, I just don't understand why they put that in.
This drama also compiles a great collection of gufeng music. I normally don't watch historical dramas (I dont like SE or OE) but I do like gufeng music though. So this is a great way for me to get them.

I really like the story of the main characters and how they love each other. Even at first sight, I thought that the outlooks of the actor and actress somehow matched so well and created a good chemistry already. I would still feel that the energy and characteristics of the female lead are too idealistic, but I guess it makes sense for someone who survived that kind of tragedy with positivity. I normally don't watch similar theme dramas because I can't handle these kinds of hardships and losses, but this couple really gives me a soothing feeling. Their story is really well-plotted.
The second doctor-firefighter couple is also cute with meaningful stories of their own, though I think that they should have more time telling the stories in more detail.
Of course, there are things that I don't like in the drama, such as the evil reporter. She committed a fatal unethical deed especially in the journalism industry since the beginning, got reported and all; and yet, somehow still stayed in the same position to do more evil things.
But anyway, I can oversee those and enjoy the other parts of the drama. The OSTs are also nice, I like the song "Day Dream" the most, very sweet.

It's one of the few love story dramas that I really enjoyed. I received electro-acupuncture treatment for a year so I am interested in this topic of Traditional Chinese Medicine. I really hope this drama inspires more young people to learn about it too. One of the best things I like is Ren Xin Zheng and his wife, they are so cute. The grandparents are also cute too. They are respectful elders with both wisdom and wittiness.
The drama has a good balance between reality and the usual perfection in the C-drama world. Each character has his/her own problem that is common in life and has a realistic ending, some are sad but overall are happy ones.

This drama overall is quite moody and heavy, as expressed visually through the color. So I think that's why the tempo is rather slow. And the FL's character is thereby pessimistic and gloomy due to her past ghost. So that's why she met a ML who is like a bright sun. I like the ML's traits as he's childish in a way, but in a good way and knows what's he doing: trusting his people, not overly confident and reckless.
The racing topic is very interesting, exhilarating and yet with a dark mood. The drama is very captivating and charming in its own way. The storyline is written well. It's a bit slow to my liking but i don't really mind that.

Edited:
I like the ending. The ML completed his journey. At first all he wanted to be fast and furious to win. But afterward winning has a different meaning to him. He resolved his misunderstanding with his sister and acknowledged his responsibility to his family business and he found the way to the best of both worlds. Plus he has a GF/best engineer and all of his companions. Showing the last race is not necessary because it is not his last race. And technically it's not as exciting to show to the audience because Formular E (electric cars) is slower and his previous races.

It's such a lovely healing drama. I like how the male lead is so unusual. He doesn't possess any fancy materialistic things, yet emits a very charming charisma. He doesn't even have a bigger-than-life purpose at the beginning either. He also loses his ownership of the village in the end. I like it that way as it doesn't give false hope. As a non-Chinese, I don't like how all mainland Chinese dramas portrayed all foreigners as villain but oh well, it's a different topic.
And the female lead is very realistic with her materialistic list but in an honest and hardworking way. I find the idea of the male lead thinking that his second half of life belongs to the female lead when she bought his winter solstice house model super cute.
To me, this drama is healing with its soothing and sweet daily lessons.
