could have been good but...

I initially watched it for the cast (Ateez, SF9, Lee Jun young) like a lot of people i think
but the storyline was way too predictable in my opinion. the plot was too simple especially for an idol-based drama. There could have been so much plot twists and stuff. Though i’m not a professional scenarist or anything, i still believe the story could have been better.

In the drama, all the characters seemed somewhat awkward, even -especially- the main couple

the main couple just didn’t look like the main couple. Their chemistry was...nowhere to be found...
The relationship i didn’t find too awkward was Hyuk and DoJin friendship. They added all the fun in the drama and i really enjoyed their moments! Riah and Inhyuk were really cute as well but i wished there were more scenes for them ?

i liked the message the drama wanted to convey about the idol industry, but the way it was executed was a bit off. Did it really show or explain us the complexity of the idol industry? I don’t think so. Also, a lot of scenes looked so unnatural, stiff, you can immediately say that it’s scripted.
last thing: the FL hair.... how could they do her so dirty ?

Anyway, pretty average watch. I was disappointed in a lot of aspects and i wouldn’t particularly recommend it.
This is only my opinion, and i intend no hate towards the actors at all!! all the actors work hard and do their best, but ofc not all the dramas are to everyone’s taste, and it’s okay!
