Worth to watch
Both actors play very well their roles.I like the adaptation to avoid the issue of BL in China. But it is better than I expected.
The chemistry between to main leads is amazing! The adaptation is very well. However, we still see the connections between the two characters in the series. Honestly, their connection and affection toward each other are considered to go beyond "brothers". Well done and appreciate the team making this series.
Still rewatching it and hope for the next season!

Wonderful storyline and great act
I think we need those kinds of series in life: a beautiful storyline, a soft way to tell the story, ...If you don't expect something hard and tense, the series becomes very enjoyable.
The acting skill of actors and actresses is very good. It likes how we behave and act in real life.
I do believe there are many people who are afraid of something, or have some bad memories which last for so long. And, those people need someone to understand and share with them. I think this aspect could be a land to exploit a bit more. So, viewers can see more of the roles of Jin Xun An toward Bai Lang. That might be a good reason why Bai Lang tried doing many things to win Jin Xun An's heart.
Other couples, like Alex and RJ, deserve to be told a bit more. But their stories can be in the next series.
One last thing, it seems Taiwanese BL having their universe now :)
I will watch it again!

Too bad comparing to the original story
The original story contained many great things. It was built upon a wonderful fictionary world of many events, which are connected with what we are seeing now in old books about Buddhism, or in many statues in the pagodas. It explains the true meaning of the scroll, and many hidden philosophies of the two parties: Jiang Zi Ya represents one party, and Shen Gong Bao represents the other one, and why they became oppositions, why many Buddhas have their animals to ride on (as we can see from many photos in the book or the temples or pagodas). The original story also mentions that a new Kingdom will be born and led by a new King. It is totally different in this movie: the new King will be the hair of the throne of the old one, who is a bad King (King Zhou of Shang / Di Xin).It is too bad that the team could not keep the story as close as the original one. It turned out to be a very conventional story, nothing is special.
Maybe in the future, we will have a chance to see the original story in the movie(s) rather than a movie uses the characters and some events from another old book.
If you come to see a movie as someone who doesn't know about the original story, you might enjoy it because of the visual effects, actors, and music.
But for me, it is just a movie without a soul!

Fulfilling many things missed in the series
The movie is worth to watch, even better to watch it after watching the series.In the series, everything happens to fast, that many things, e.g. the chemistry, the reasons behind of why the Agent let In Soo does what he wants, etc. were lacked. However, in the movie, everything was there. Those added scenes with more details make the movie more meaningful.
I think Korean makes very good BLs (Mr. Heat, Where your eyes lingers, Wish You): great story, good storytelling, excellent acting, not-too-much-drama, good cinematography, ...
Very much recommended you to watch it.
