The affection is all there
This drama started strong. It pulls you in with the child actors and the curious story. I don't usually watch historicals, but the 2 lead actors I loved watching in other dramas. As I progressed with this drama, the cinematography became a beautiful element to this drama and so was the OST. The middle of the drama is a bit draggy with all the politics, the romance is sweet but few and far between. But the end again pulls you in and all in all I was very satisfied. The character of Park Eun Bin was fun to watch. She gets 10 gold stars for her portrayal of this character. This character is probably one of the most strong, yet the most sensitive female character I've seen. She's in love yet she has the run the country behind a guise. This was so worth the time and effort for a 20 part series.

One of the best CDramas I've seen
Basically this was of the few Cdramas I looked forward to every week. The actors were extremely believable and did not over act their parts. The girls didn't act dumb and submissive which can be very cliché for Cdramas. And the chemistry between the two leads was undeniable. You can feel their love on the the screen which made this drama so so watchable. The plot was unique and the episodes didn't drag like some Cdramas. The supporting casts had their own unique stories and kept the drama interesting. Please watch it, don't waste your time on other high school Chinese dramas, this one will be up there and it will be your most remembered.

This story is Atypical
I love unique stories and this one embodied that. Yes, everyone hated the ending, but to me I was satisfied. Probably because I was so impressed with the intelligent story telling, directing, cinematography and of course strong acting leading up to episode 16. The journey that this screenwriter takes you with their careers and their awkward yet beautiful relationship was truly beautiful. I don't think I've seen writing like that and the way the director and the actors carried out that story is what keep me so engaged with this drama. It was so unique and lovely. Relationships are about the journey and yes about the end game too, but think if it were a happy ending, you'd probably say that was good and move on to your next drama. But nope, you're still here, you're still thinking about it and maybe yes you're upset- but the writer made you think and that's what they want. That's their happy end game. This one will be in my 10 ten of all time. Was this review helpful to you?
On a different level
When I first saw this poster and read the synopsis, I had to see this. I'm just knew that I would be in love with this ML- why? because dealing with a disability is always challenging for the screenwriter, the actors, the story. You need to make the characters believable and you want to root for them. Sou was someone to root for. Their relationship was something you wanted to root for. This drama was simple, yet the acting was complex and beautifully done. How is it, that this drama was mostly silent as they signed, yet you, your heart and soul were totally engaged 110%? That takes performances that are on another level. Watch this now that it's complete. You won't be disappointed. On my top 10 of 2022.Was this review helpful to you?
A rollercoaster ride drama, you don't want to get off!
This quiet little drama entered my life without a warning. I saw that it was trending one day and decided to take a chance on it just based on the synopsis and the poster. I was intrigued. No way could I have imagined a story that grabbed me and held me on for so long. There's so much going on with this drama that I loved. Mostly because it was a little different than most, it kept me so attached to this story. I myself can be categorized as a little visually impaired. To see this story unfold had a personal meaning to me. Evan played this role beautifully and thoughtfully. The music along in this drama can bring you to tears. It's almost it's own character here. The background music can set the mood and expectation of the scene which I loved. That aspect of the drama was something fresh to me. The acting and the chemistry between the leads was very natural. The characters seem to develop at a pace that very watchable- you wanted to be in love with them, you wanted to have them get back together... it was like you were in that relationship too. And the details that the director created were amazing. From the raindrops, to the leaves falling and the beautiful cinematography. Was this review helpful to you?
In love with Brahms
I fell in love with this drama from the first episode. Maybe because I'm so into the ML and his dimples. But his acting in this drama is superb. I do believe he's a pianist struggling with his mastery of the instrument. The love between the two leads is strong yet very sweet, it might be too sweet for some, but with these 2 charterers it's perfect. The musical score is beautiful and gives me chills at times. The plot is a bit predictable, but I feel with the well developed characters, it's good enough,Was this review helpful to you?
Don't miss this one
This drama needs more exposure for others to watch. It's so underrated. I feel like this story is pretty unique for a school/youth Cdrama. Not since Forever Love have I been so excited to watch this genre. It's a sentimental look into what youth in China are going through or better yet what all youth can be going though. I think all kids go through issues with: inattentive parents, divorce, family finances, poverty, jealousy, popularity, secrets, and chasing your dream. The acting between these 2 leads is well done considering they're young and new at this, The character development is nicely paced and the personalities are interesting and not at all annoying. And the OST and cinematography is surprisingly good! Was this review helpful to you?
Unique Cdrama
I am so loving this drama. I was trying to put my finger on what it is that I really like other than the fantastic acting or interesting story... but it's the fact is- I am not bored! The action scenes with the SWAT police team or the risky operations/surgeries or incidents in the ER room is soften by the leads quiet chemistry of their pure awkward love for each other is BALANCED very well in this series. Doing this well in a genre like this takes skill. Believe me, I am a true rom com viewer at heart and getting me to watch a genre that has to do with medical or the military or cops or law is difficult. But just with the very first episode I haven't been able to put this one down and neither will you.Was this review helpful to you?
Top 10 for 2022
For 2022, this is going to be in my top 10 of the year. This was an unexpected drama that took me on a rollercoaster of a ride... It started off a bit scary, then a lot of twists and turns and maybe it gets a little slow and sickening in the middle, but in the end, the ride comes to a stop and you're overwhelmed with emotion but definitely satisfied. I walked away learning that when ppl face real danger, they take it on without much logic or reasoning or much regret, I think that's the message I'm going to take away from it. This was also my first drama with Yeo Gin Goo, so I was just stunned by his stellar acting. I think that also contributed to my high marks.Viva la fridge!

This could be you
This is a very underrated drama bc it's different and probably realistic- at least to me. That's why I'm fangirling all over it. I'm actually rooting for the ML. Why? Yes, he's jerk, a moron, probably unlovable. But when have we been in love with that person too? Are all of our first loves even close to being perfect? Mine was naïve, cranky, a little jerky and a bit of a narcistic like Lee Soo. And I was Woo Yeon in love with him hoping he'll change his mind waiting for him to get me out of the friend zone. It's all happened to us, that's why I absolutely love this story line and the acting is pretty superb. Give it a shot and watch for the story to twist and turn and watch these two eventually find their way back to each other, The music will also make you swoon. Was this review helpful to you?
Get lost in the Red Sleeve
Not a fan of historical or costume dramas. it's not my genre. But this one hits different. I've only watched 4 episodes, but something about this captivating prince and this court lady has got me hooked like no other. The prince: his husky, sexy voice, the curls of his mouth with he sheepishly smiles, and commanding yet comedic demeanor. The court lady: her confidence, her charisma is very satisfying to watch, Their chemistry so far gives all the butterfly feels that's borderline electrifying. All other support characters are pretty standard, nothing to write home about. But watch for the main leads as they light up the screen. Was this review helpful to you?
Feelings of giddiness
Ugh, it's so hard to put into words how happy I am when I watch this. It's like Christmas, my birthday and maybe winning the lottery all rolled into one. I'm really loving their bromance and their hilarious teasing of each other. They are really funny- like lol funny. It really puts these men in an ordinary light which is kinda nice because when you see them in concerts, videos or in dramas, they're not human like. Their visuals are so perfect on screen. Here it's just them, hanging out.
The worst part about this In the Soop is that it's only 4 episodes long.

Cute drama so far
I love dramas that aren't too heavy on the brain and heart and this is one of them. It's cute and quirky and something I can supplement it in between the heavier, sad dramas. Best character so far is the ML and Mimi the dog! lol. I'll be very interested how the FL overcomes her adversity and how the ML helps her. We already know he's falling for her. But what that older doctor role is doing there, I'm not sure. The love triangle shouldn't have included him in my opinion.Watch this, you'll enjoy it.

In love with a real fox
Lee Dong Wook- YOU ARE A MASTER in this drama. Ugh you are killing it in the acting department. So emotionally connected, so sexy, so everything, I can't concentrate on anything else in this drama but you. I feel these younger actors need to learn from you. Ok, back to the drama, the CGI, costumes, action sequences, are great. Also Mr. Vet, you are hilarious and gorgeous and Mr. Fox #2, you are sinister and gorgeous too. I love the bromance between the foxes too, it's funny and scary at the same time. Ok, now I gotta find some mint chocolate chip ice cream ...Was this review helpful to you?
favolosa dramma
I think this one is going to be my Start Up drama of 2021. It's the sneaky drama that hits you while you're watching it and you say, this is pretty damn good?! It's original and not boring at all and it's funny like heck. The acting is great of course by SJK- a seasoned actor and probably someone who loves challenges. His Italian is pretty amazing. And this $18 million budget spent on this series by Studio Dragon and Netflix is well spent on sets, cinematography, wardrobe etc, Maybe the OST will be better as we move forward. I am worried about the FL lead tho. She seems to over act her role. This story is super original and I think the momentum it's built in just one episode so far is fantastic. I have never laughed and been on the edge of my seat at the very same time. Watch this please. Was this review helpful to you?
