so far … I LOVE IT SO MUCH !

the main leads are so likeable. their chemistry is amazing. i love watching so-min and hae-in’s kdramas ! i also love the childhood besties trope, with the “i hate you, you’re annoying” facade and + “he fell first then she fell but he’s head over heels for her” AHAHAHA it’s so obvious he likes her. i think deep down inside, she likes him too but she doesn’t wanna ruin the friendship. i love the bestie mo-eum and i’m excited to see what happens in her storyline. oh and FYI i cried in episode two 😭

It was okayyyyyyyyy

I literally only watched this because minho was in it, so i didn't expect much. Supringly, i kinda liked it.

I mean, i found myself skipping every scene that the dad was in because he just pissed me off. I hated the fact that he left for 10+ years and expected to be welcomed back into the family. They literally thought he was dead too. The mum was pretty cool. Didn’t really care about her that much either.

I relate to the FL and how she grew up as the
"head of the household" so when she started tweaking, i crashed out 😭 Her character was refreshing. I loved her independence, strong will and how hardworking she is. I loved the ML as well and his relationship with the FL. it was so cute how they trusted each other and stayed together, despite the rumours and all. but the whole celibacy and her not wanting marriage and HIM ACCEPTING is CRAZY. like is that even a relationship ? wasted such a nice couple tbh.

I’m glad the brother voiced out his feelings bc I felt his frustration. I was a bit upset every time he was pushed to the side, and a little disappointed in FL for treating him like an immature teenager (even though he is one).

I loved the CEO dad. I loved that he chose to respect his son’s wishes to go back to taekwondo, respected his and FL’s relationship and was able to separate personal life from work. It was refreshing.

They had such a really good cast and the acting was executed well, considering they barely had anything to work with.

what was that storyline ?!

don’t get me wrong, the storyline was amazing. I loved the parents and the high school/ college friends. i loved the many lessons we were taught about; dreams, friendships, the realities of growing up, the complications of love, family and more. BUT. they dragged xia xiao ju’s one-sided love with cheng lang for wayyyyy too long. and i really wanted to see her and lu shi yi in their dating/ marriage era ! like wdym they’re officially together in the last few minutes of the last episode ?! I WANTED MORE :(

so cutesy !

This is such a cutesy drama ! Like it’s so cringey - but not cringey where you have to pause and walk around the room because you just got second hand embarrassment. it’s cringey where you can’t help but have respect for the actors because of how stupid their characters can be. i was genuinely surprised that I was laughing out loud (literally) throughout the whole thing. i even cried in all of the heavier scenes too !

I loved how they portrayed different family dynamics, ways to show your love and affection, how to handle different problems/ situations that may arise and most importantly; what matters most in a relationship.

I enjoyed how simple and seemingly predictable (though it wasn’t AHAHAAHHA) this drama was. definitely a breath of fresh air, if you’re looking for something to watch to escape from reality.

I see why KathNiel was such a big thing now. I didn’t get the hype of their breakup irl, as i’ve never watched any of their dramas, but DAMN now i see. this was my first drama of theirs, but i will find a way to watch them all (netflix doesn’t have most of them). it was such a bittersweet feeling, watching them act lovey-dovey, knowing that they’re not together anymore. i can say that they’re such amazing actors though, and she is just STUNNING !

I also grew to love the song “Marry my Daughter”.

Overall, this is a comfy, cute, VERY cringey drama to watch x

A complete waste of time

If I could rate this a 0/10, BEST BELIEVE I WOULD. (wouldn’t even let me rate it a 0.5/10 👎🏽) This drama was so stupid. Too fast paced, with no plot. Everything was everywhere and you had no time to get to know any of the characters. I swear they introduced a new person every episode 😭

And omg the main leads had absolutely no chemistry whatsoever. Their “spicy” scenes pissed me tf off, because they were so random. and he was doing all the work. she would say “i love you” but couldn’t even unbutton his shirt ? 😭sis, please do better.

FL was like the stereotypical useless damsel in distress, from dramas in the early 2000’s. She knew it too. Her acting was so stiff, and her character was so basic.

ML was excessively possessive and really just horny. Like every 5 mins he was tryna kiss her. Like please, just use your words 😂

Genuinely shocked that it aired in 2019. And i’ve never been so grateful for the fast foward button.

such a refreshing dating reality show

i watched this, not really expecting much. but
DAMNNNNNN i loved it so much. the cast was so amazing. the drama was entertaining and honestly crack up.

i related a lot to shun with his insecurities + walls he built up, as well as him constantly testing dai to see if he was genuine or not. he was so dramatic that it was just so funny. like wdym he got angry because dai wouldn’t wear his T-shirt, but his ex would ? BWAHAHAHAHHA STOPPPPPP 😭 oh their last date was BEAUTIFUL ! i already knew what was gonna happen when shun went onto dai’s bed. but it looked like something was happening underneath that blanket … 👀 the kiss needs to be recorded in the history of best BL kisses to ever happen. BL dramas/ shows need to study this exact scene, bc the build up, eye contact, whispers, everything led up to such a romantic and intimate kiss. hopefully shun matures so that when he has children he won’t get them in trouble for having to much fun, or being too enthusiastic (cue flashback of their first date 😂😭)

i was amazed at the maturity, loyalty and consideration dai had. how he was able to so easily compromise for shun and try to understand his reactions. how he was willing to keep trying even if it wore him out. he was very expressive and talked about his feelings, which is so important in any type of relationship. i thought it was a great idea that he enjoyed the picnic with new guy, because it would have been refreshing for him and showed shun how he really felt. BROOOOOOO i swear, dai has the patience of a saint, because shun was just confusing with wanting his physical touch, only to push him away.

they were so realistic and enjoyable (sometimes frustrating) to watch. AND NETFLIX PUTTING THIS SONG WHEN SHUN CONFESSED ?! perfection! honestly, my main focus was them. i wish them both happiness together.

i can remember kazuto picking the guys up like pokemon. i was LAUGHING MY HEAD OFF that one time it was his shift and everyone put their hands up. honestly so valid, bc me too. usak and his chickennnn OMG the whole budgeting thing was so funny, like they were so serious about chicken 😭 he was adorable and i’m kinda sad he left early. gensei thinking ryota liked him was funny as well. like i never thought i’d see my level of delulu on tv. ryota was like seeing the second lead in a kdrama. he just kept giving his heart to kazuto, only for it to be crushed #unrequitedlove . taeheon being on the show even though he wasn’t out, was such a brave move for me. it made me admire his courage to do so, knowing his family will inevitably see it. i loved that everyone comforted him and assured him that his emotions were valid and his presence is needed. i felt sorry for ikuo when daishun were having lover quarrels 101 😭 homeboy only wanted to help. alan was very understanding of everyone and gave really good advice/ words of comfort.

only thing i wish they would improve is more content please ! how did they stay together for one whole month, and only have 10-45min episodes ? in the end they all respected each other and it was refreshing to see.
