This was the most realistic drama I've seen, and I liked it quite a bit. All the girls were relatable in their own way and made me want them to succeed and find happiness. The show can be a bit depressing, but I appreciated its honesty and the way it portrayed the quiet beauty of everyday life. The cinematography and music were lovely, in an understated sort of way. There's lots of "breathing room" in the way the show is shot, like a character walking down a street until they're out of frame. Something about it felt fresh and clean to me and made me want to do better in my life after watching. Kind of like a Ghibli movie, but less whimsical.
