How do I rate what I watch?

I cannot establish one unchanging scale. I rate the things I watch by comparing them to other similar titles, bearing in mind whether the actors are known to me for their great acting. Honestly, I have higher expectations for titles where I know the actors' great abilities and judge them more severely than those with actors whose acting, in my opinion, needs a bit of improvement. Additionally, how I judge the title depends on my mood and the things I've been watching lately, although it is to a small extent. I rate the titles according to my feelings as soon as I'm done watching and try not to change it later. This is due to the fact that after some time I would usually give a lower rating since I no longer remember how I felt immediately after finishing watching, and I want the conditions in which I rate the titles to be at least a little similar to each other. |
