Love every second of it.
THE CAST IS INSANE.Honestly, it's refreshing to see a drama about the struggles of a declining family instead of the usual rich people drama, this drama also seems to be of quality... I like how simple it is, the common man has the most interesting and realistic stories.
Also wow they got Hu Yitian, Zhang Jingyi, Ceasar Wu, and Hu Chunyang in one drama-
I can tell how great the cast is because I recognize the older actors as well, they just picked up all the popular (and skilled) ones and said "Do your thing, this drama will do well"

Worth every second.
Honestly, I loved the show. It was one of the best shows to showcase love, friendship, and the difficulties gay/bi people go through. I wish the episodes were longer as we missed a lot of content so sometimes it felt off.SPOILER!!!!
My favorite couple was ShunDai and their journey was beautiful to see. They went through hardships but they managed to go through it.
Also, I have seen so many people throw words like toxic, red flag, and more but guys remember they are real people with real feelings. They are not in a kdrama and are following a script. It is as if 10 episodes would show you who they are as a person. Your environment, friends, family, etc. affects how you are. You might not like it but this is life. Shun had many hardships that we will never know about and you might hate how he behaved but he is real. He did what he felt was right. And if Dai didn't like it, he would have left. This is their story and they decide how they want it to end but you shouldn't go and throw these words everywhere just because you think you have an idea of how their relationship should be. Every couple is different. I hope they all find happiness because they all deserve it.

What a great start to this series
What a great start to this series❣️ This screams quality production, from the acting to the music, to the cinematography, to the storyline, etc. The writer and director spent no time telling us what this story is about. Btw both of them were involved in the We Best Love series, My Tooth Your Love series, and/or Stay By My Side series, so we know this is likely going to stay good. For me, these “bro” to lovers storylines are difficult to find the balance between endearing and crossing the line you maybe shouldn’t cross. I understand why Wei Quian would be hesitant to go from provider/ caretaker/ caregiver to lover and I also understand why it would be so easy for Zhi Yuan to fall in love completely given the circumstances and how they met. Learning their backstory puts everything into context. It broke my heart to see a young Zhi Yuan look like an abandoned stray cat or dog following its hopefully new owner home? Qian was truly Yuan’s ray of light among all the darkness around him? The gang part of the story – no surprises there, always taking advantage of the disadvantaged? Wei Quian is an exceptional person to have taken in someone when he himself needed help. He sacrificed for the one he loved and cared for not wanting Yuan to take the wrong paths in life, literally fighting – commendable among so much adversity. I’m already invested in these characters. This is how you start to tell a compelling story? Was this review helpful to you?

First two episodes were great
(This review was written after watching the first two episodes only. I am a little disappointed after watching episodes 3 & 4)One of the best Korean BLs so far.
I feel like I’ve been hit by a train, my emotions are going haywire ? I was laughing, crying, or enraged every other scene
Ju Yeong’s bruises were shown and my stomach fell, I just started crying because he was smiling and laughing the whole time enduring the pain, and was planning to say anything. I'm curious and want a deeper exploration of his family life and Taekwondo's role. Is the mistreatment and poor conditions worth it?
How could you beat up a kid like that much more than someone else’s child like that wtf ? And most of the kids in that neighborhood have been beaten by him before and nothing can be done about it?! I had to pause and sit in silence.
I can’t imagine what Do Hoe experienced for years living with him alone after his mom left, as well as the violent bullying from his classmates. Which I peeped the gay panic (14:38)
By the end I was LMAO because of their awkwardness but determination to have a proper kiss I think they’ll stay warm in the cold? They are so pure and my heart aches for them ?
I think this is just the beginning of injuries Ju Yeong will attain and with Savior Complex he’s gonna accumulate more until they can’t be hidden anymore or become detrimental to his health. His silence, and the lying about his injuries on top of to Do Hoe’s guilt because of his father will take a toll on their newly budding romance.
