Fake dating with enemies to lovers trope
This is definitely not your typical sweet girl next door type of heroine because Yeo Mi Ran is a woman with strong will of justice, a feminist and a smart lawyer. While the male lead, Nam Kang Ho has a painful past that caused him to dislike women. Their first meeting and relationship was started with bad impression towards each other thus it leads to several incidents that forced them to form a contract and start to fake dating.
I found that they are naturally falling in love during their time spent together, and how they slowly open up and remove all the bad judgements about men/women in general. Honestly, I did not think their sorts of interaction is cringe nor awkward because they are adults, in 30s I believe. So, it is common for adult people act that way, and maybe we are too common with teenager sweet and innocent love that we find Mi Ran and Kang Ho's idea of being in love was so awkward to watch. Since it is a rom com with 10 episodes, I think it is well written and fast paced. Yeah, and I also enjoy the second couple's interaction as they are not stealing the main leads story and their story was cute and adorable.
Applause to the writer because they include the issue on misogynism, feminism, patriarchy, narcissism and write in a witty and fun way.
