When smart people get selfish revenge
This was a good drama about people trying to outsmart each other while using their knowledge of medicine and the judicial system. Each one things they are smarter than the other, and this proves true for both is different scenarios. It really shows that even if you think you are the smartest in the room today, you may not be tomorrow. The acting is good and the story is fast paced and as exciting as a non-action can be (there is one small rough housing scene every 5 or so episodes), but the constant flashbacks and jokes that totally miss their mark, make is hard to re-watch.

However, I had some problems with Reiya Masaki's character Ichijo Noboru because this character is an exaggerated version of a middle school child in a college student's body.
I will say that the character Ichijo is one of reasons I almost didn't make it all the way through the drama, but Kanata Hongo played Ueno-san so well that it made up for it.

There are character developments and drama.
I do warn that the unneeded drama becomes obvious from episode 1, so it may annoy some people. I just skipped some of the parts by a specific drama-filled conceded character and it was fine.

Without it always being her in the middle of trying to make a problem for the main character, there could still be a good story (if not better story) if they focused on how the main evil character used his power to get more unexpected people/characters to help him, but with her, they add an annoying aspect that I really dislike.
Look don't get me wrong, annoying characters are needed every now and then, but for this story and it's plot, it is not. If they wanted to keep her as an annoying character, they should have had her team up with her paparazzi friend and been annoying totally separate from the main plot and only show up every couple of episodes.

Point 2: Kanata Hongo was the best choice for this kind of role. He always does his best acting when his character has a secret strength. Sometimes they are smart, sometimes secretly evil, sometimes secretly strong or a punk, and in this case, because he is a little short and young, he deceives his opponents.

The actors did a great job, especially the two main ones, in pertaining their characters.
HOWEVER, much of the story was sub-par, and just didn't flow.
In my opinion, the first 8 episodes were amazing, but then is started to fall short.
The villainous characters started to seem rushed and there was little to hold on to before something new (not necessarily needed or surprising) was thrown at you.
No only that, but the two main characters themselves started to have less and less one on one debate/conversations about their differentiating opinions on how to proceed or what was going on.
Instead of it being two character that both clash and work well together because of it, it became a pair were one always talks and the other listens (except short anecdotes) and follows like a dog.

It starts off with some fun action and then makes you think the rest of the drama will be the same, but then it becomes very political. BEWARE.
