Still Gets Under My Skin

I still can't get over the fact that he left his wife's bedside and totally forgot about her for his mission. The drama tries to cover it up by making it seem like he needs to do it for his father, but I still feel so bad for Se Ra. The main couple's chemistry could have been amazing for me, if only I could get the image of his poor wife in bed recovering from her surgery out of my head.

Other than that though, I like the story its cute and funny and engrossing. I just don't like the way the drama portrays the male lead. Hopefully there is a point to Se Ra being there, other than just being an obstacle in the main couple's way of being together. If that seriously is the only purpose Se Ra has then this drama has some serious ethical/moral problems.

Ummm He's Married....

That is going to irk me. Dude's married...WTF! Even if they aren't registered yet, he still said his freaking vows and went through the ceremony. IDGAF if he married her for reasons other than love, his wife seems like a really sweet person. That really is a turn-off for me. I couldn't even get into the main couple in the end of this episode, because I kept thinking about his poor wife in the surgery room. And honestly I was kinda bored throughout this whole episode except for when the 3 uncles were there. I think the 3 uncles are going to be my favorite part of this drama, they are too cute and funny. I guess I'll keep watching, but I'm not sure if I'll be able to stomach 16 episodes of a ass who cheats on his wife.

Exaggerated XD

So... I realize I probably won't enjoy this drama much because I've seen the anime before and now I CAN'T stop comparing the two, but just out of curiosity I wanna watch the whole thing.

I would've liked the drama a lot more if they made it at least a bit more realistic. I love the anime, but those specific movements/fx should be kept in the anime only. They try too much to copy it that it looks silly. They should've only followed the storyline and it could've become a great jdrama.



Besides, it doesn't make sense that they copied almost all the lines from the anime, but they couldn't even keep some of the characters' original personalities. Kyouya wasn't supposed to be this warm. And Nekozawa wasn't supposed to be so involved with people either, not at first anyway. And don't even get me started on their appearance... If they had absolutely no attractive characters to choose as hosts, at least they could've kept their original hairstyles. Tamaki was supposed to be a blond! And Honey as well! Haruhi is the only attractive character, seriously.



Tegoshi Yuya would've made a great Honey and Kamenashi Kazuya could've easily been Tamaki. Aaaaand Uchi Hiroki would've been great as Kyouya. I really picture the cast of Yamato Nadeshiko Shichi Henge as the host club *-* They would've all fit so well.



Maybe it's just me, but I can hardly focus on a drama if there are no attractive characters at all... Ouran is only entertaining if you don't take it seriously and just enjoy the silliness. It might also help if you don't watch the anime before the drama...
