Tears, tears and tears.
Children gone to Poland is a really tragic story about orphans from both south and north Korea being sent to a small polish village durning war. Story also mentions present time north korean defectors, mostly teenagers and young adults that run away from North Korea after 2000s, this way we can take a look at the current situation and reflect on what is happening right now in the world. This movie should be talked about way more. It tells a story from the past, but also brings us closer to what is happening in the world even right now, 60+ years after.
If you are polish, korean or just like history please do watch it. It is truely heart-breaking, tragic and tear-jerking.

An important and comprehensive historical record of the queer movement in modern China
Directed in 2009 by Cui Zi En, China's most prolific celebrated gay filmmaker, 'Queer China, "Comrade" China' documents the history of the queer community in the People's Republic of China from the 1984s to the 2000s.Premiered on the opening night of the 2009 Shanghai Queer Film Festival (Festival that carried that name until 2012, but as of 2016 began to be called ShanghaiPRIDE Film Festival), the first LGBT pride festival instituted in China and second in importance in the Asian nation After the Beijing Love Queer Cinema Week (previously Beijing Queer Film Festival, since 2001), the documentary 'Queer China, Comrade China' was recognized as the most authoritative account of the story queer culture in China to date.
Presented at the Vancouver International Film Festival and Busan International Film Festival in 2009, the film uses a chapter structure (like a history book) to document advances in rights, literature and the arts, community and LGBT+ activism in this long period of that nation's history.
Through many exclusive interviews with more than three dozen prominent queer activists, academics and filmmakers, including Cui Zi En himself, Shi Tou, Li Yinhe and Zhang Yuan, as well as the use of historical archival material, the documentary becomes a record important and comprehensive history of the queer movement in modern China.
China's leading queer theorist, activist and academic includes rarely seen footage of the first appearance of gays and lesbians on Chinese state television in the documentary, including several featuring the documentary film's director himself.
'Queer China, "Comrade" China' documents the changes and developments in lesbian/gay/bisexual/transgender culture that have taken place in China over the past 80 years up to the time of its release.
Like never before, this film explores the historical milestones and ongoing advocacy efforts of the Chinese LGBT community.
The film examines how changing attitudes in the law, media and education have transformed queer culture from an unspeakable taboo to an accepted social identity.
The film culminates with the submission of Dr. Li Yinhe's same-sex marriage bill to the Legislative Affairs Commission of the National People's Congress of China, the highest legislative body of the People's Republic of China in 2003, a milestone important in the fight for the acceptance of queer identity in China.

I love Zhang BinBin and have already watched almost all his previous projects. I feel he is an underrated actor.
This is my first time watching something of Zhenni and Wang Duo, and both of them are amazing actors and have their own charisma. I will watch their other works.
I don’t understand the negative reviews. This drama is addicting. The fact is people only care about big/popular actors, not the acting and storyline. The excellent actors and actresses of this series immerse you in their story with their unique acting and make you understand the story better. You can enjoy the series.

Blossom: A Mesmerizing Masterpiece That Redefines Historical Dramas
As someone who has watched countless historical dramas, I can confidently say that Blossom has raised the bar to an entirely new level. This is not just a drama—it’s a masterpiece that took me on an emotional rollercoaster. From its intricate storytelling to its stunning visuals, every element of Blossom feels meticulously crafted, leaving me in awe with each episode. The drama’s two main leads, Dou Zhao and Song Mo, are a breath of fresh air in the historical genre. They are strong, intelligent, and deeply layered characters who bring an undeniable spark to the story. Their chemistry is nothing short of magical—it’s not just about romance but a profound connection built on mutual respect and understanding. Unlike the stereotypical weak leads who often cause unnecessary drama, both Dou Zhao and Song Mo are sharp, resourceful, and capable of navigating the challenges they face. Watching them strategize, work together, and grow individually made every scene captivating and emotionally fulfilling.
Dou Zhao is an incredibly inspiring character, a rich and capable woman who proves time and time again that she is no ordinary lead. The way she manages everything around her with such poise and confidence is remarkable. She stands tall in the face of adversity, speaking with sharpness and conviction that leaves no room for doubt. Whether she’s exposing the truth, outsmarting her enemies, or teaching evil characters their well-deserved lessons, her presence is nothing short of electrifying. She’s a perfect example of strength and intelligence combined, and her ability to handle every situation flawlessly is one of the many reasons I admire her character so much.
One of the unique traits of Song Mo that caught my attention is his ability to effortlessly discern the truth or lies just by looking into someone’s eyes. This capability adds a fascinating depth to his character, making him appear almost otherworldly at times. However, those same eyes take on a completely different nature when he looks at Dou Zhao. It feels as if his eyes begin to shine, reflecting the emotions and unspoken connection between them. The eye contact between the two is absolutely breathtaking—it’s as though their gazes communicate a language only they can understand. These moments of silent yet powerful connection bring a whole new level of intimacy to their relationship, making it one of the most beautiful aspects of the drama.
One of the most remarkable aspects of Blossom is its unpredictability. I’ve seen many historical dramas, but this is the first one where I genuinely couldn’t guess what would happen next. Each episode is packed with twists and turns that left me on the edge of my seat, eagerly anticipating what was to come. The royal family’s corruption, political intrigue, and hidden betrayals add layers of complexity, making the story feel real and intense.
The drama also excels in its depiction of relationships. Whether it’s the strong bond of brotherhood and sisterhood or the familial ties between Song Mo, his mother, and his uncle, each relationship is portrayed with depth and sincerity. Song Mo’s unwavering loyalty to his nation and his loved ones is truly inspiring, while Dou Zhao’s determination to protect her family and maintain her dignity in the face of adversity showcases her incredible strength. These connections bring an emotional richness to the story that resonates deeply.
The music of Blossom is another element that elevates this drama to new heights. Every OST is soothing, melodious, and perfectly complements the mood of the story. The background scores beautifully capture the emotions of each scene, whether it’s the intensity of a political confrontation, the tenderness of a heartfelt moment, or the triumph of a hard-won victory. The OSTs linger in your mind long after the episode ends, creating a harmonious connection between the story and the audience. The songs feel like a character of their own, adding depth and beauty to an already exceptional drama.
Another standout feature of Blossom is the exceptional costume design. The attention to detail is impeccable, with each outfit reflecting the character’s personality, social standing, and the grandeur of the historical era. The rich fabrics, intricate embroidery, and harmonious color schemes make every costume visually stunning, enhancing the overall aesthetic of the drama. Watching the characters move through beautifully designed sets in such elegant attire is an absolute feast for the eyes.
The cinematography is equally breathtaking. Every scene is like a painting brought to life, with stunning landscapes, perfectly framed shots, and an incredible use of light and shadow. From battlefields to palace halls, each setting is captured with precision and artistry, immersing the audience in the grandeur of the historical world.
The acting across the cast is phenomenal. Song Mo’s role is particularly impressive, as his commanding presence, charisma, and emotional depth make him the perfect lead. This being his first major role in a historical drama is astonishing, as he carries the character with such grace and conviction that it’s impossible to look away. Dou Zhao matches his performance with equal brilliance, portraying a character who is not only strong but also deeply human, with vulnerabilities and strengths that make her incredibly relatable. Together, their dynamic is electric and forms the heart of the story.
Overall, Blossom is more than just a historical drama—it’s an experience. It combines an unpredictable and engaging story with strong characters, beautiful relationships, soothing OSTs, breathtaking visuals, exceptional costume design, and phenomenal performances. Every element comes together seamlessly to create a drama that is both emotionally satisfying and visually stunning. This is the kind of drama that stays with you long after it ends, and I wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone who loves historical dramas or simply appreciates masterful storytelling.

Seem like typical, but it is not
First of all, before i watched the drama, i assumed that the drama gonna be typical contract marriage drama like..."Let's get married, this is the contract, I'll pay you this and this amount, dont fall in love with me, bla bla bla and then eventually falling in love with each other"
This drama given me the vibe...
"Let's get married. You have no money, no problem , i can afford to make a living for both of us, let give each other chance, we will work on this marriage together, I'll be your home, and you will be my home."
Both of ml and fl are trying to responsible with the marriage. They dont love each other at first, but willing to tried to work with their relationship. They got married and apply for divorce on the same day because of their ego. But I love how the fl asked for a second chance because it is her first marriage at the end of the day, It show that she really wanted to protect their marriage. During cooling off period, they keep trying to understand each other, protect each other and then eventually falling in love with each other. I love how they portray the ml, not like other typical rich ceo. Just ordinary man with no money but love his wife so much as he willing to do anything including giving up to his own principle and dream. And the wife, despite really love money, she willing to give all of it to her husband. I admit approcing the ending, the flow of drama kinda drop, with all the craftsmanship matter, it almost seen like a documentary, but still we can get the main couple relationship going stronger. The most important thing, there are no extremely annoying character, it just enough to make the story interesting. The cinemagraphy are the best. I love all the jing graden thing. Such a beautiful and peaceful place to live in. And the ost!! I keep listen to it up until now. Overall the drama is great, eventhough ut seem boring, but it always gonna be my comfort drama. I'll keep coming back to watched this drama again int the future.

Rom-Com Gem, Even After Years Later
Watching this six years after the release, and still this one is a gem. Why can't they make Rom-coms like this nowadays? The vibes is really positive. The romance is a bit cheesy, not cringe enough though, but they have choose this from the very beginning and keep this consistenly throughout the season. The comedy is able to hit at the points. The storyline is really excellent, though not flawless, as they able to emphasize the focus on the main leads (they don't even need second lead couple, though I hope there is). I love how they able to maintain this focus and intensity almost all the time. It is a bit off on the last 2 episodes though, but not destructive. The triangle love is quite forgivable because it is not malicious and doesn't seem like a product of hopeless additional plot. I also love that the two main leads have a very mature character. They don't react childishly at something and try to communicate problems to each other rather than muddling it in their own head and come up stupid decisions. Both of them always trying to resolve every misunderstandings rightaway and moving forward. This is really a relief because most of KDramas build stories on the pile of misunderstandings nowadays. However, I don't really like the circle of Duk-Mi's friendship. They rarely give good advice when the other is in trouble, and instead just giving support no matter whether it is right or wrong. Duk-Mi doesn't really care when Seon-Ju fight with his husband, and Seon-Ju doesn't give any advice regarding Eun-Gi's feeling towards Duk-Mi. Also I am a bit disappointed on the writing of character Kim Hyo-Jin. At first she seems like the main villain. But after she sees the truth, she neither keeps being the villain nor supporting Duk-Mi. Instead, she just becames a supplementary character that appears as an intermezzo. Director Eom's rejection on the exhibition also resolves easily, making Hyo-Jin's character more useless.
I really like both ML and FL. PMY and Jae-Uk play both characters excellently. Even though Min-Young kissing skill still wasn't really good at that time, to me they really have a great chemistry. The soundtrack is also really good!
I wanted to give a 9, if it's not for the last 2 episodes. To me the main highlight of this show is the consistency of the pace and intensity. I would still recommend this even for rewatch because up until now, it is still rare to find something like this.

Just 12 minutes, yet a lot said.
I found this by accident, decided to try it out.Story is inspired by a south korean poet and LGBT rights activist Yook Woo-dang ( real name Yun Hyon-seok). Just a 12 minute movie, but it expressed so much and made me reflect on some things.
Later I read the story behind it and im glad it lead me to it.
Yook Woo-dang , is a really important figure in the south korean LGBT circle, his suicide in protest of a homosexuality discrimination resulted in big changes of the gay media censor.
If u are already here, please watch it, its only 12 minutes yet it is such an important movie.

So much fun!
I just completed it today and it was one of the best kdrama I discovered. The plot didn't revolver around a single storyline therefore it was easy to watch. There were different storyline, the 5 protagonists had all their seperate storyline which made it a lot better.
The greatest thing here was its comedy. It was so fun! all the funny scenes were written precisely and I laughed everytime! it didn't seem forced, it seemed all natural which I didn't see in the other kdramas I've watched so far. Others did have funny scenes buy this drama took it to top knotch.
I highly recommend this to someone who just wants to relax and chill without having to focus too much on the story arch

The script could be better
Fl truly a pitiful soul, one after another misery keep coming. I feel so frustrated when she continuously get wronged but she is quite witty with tricks. Some part doesn't make sense like suddenly the noble lady knows how to move her body for martial art skill in short period after having a new identity. The method of changing just the face idk its a little bit fantasy. The revenge isn't up to par on how the villains act( they barely suffering like they k word lots of people!) but i guess the villain also suffered from their own previous hardship. As a saying villain doesn't born but created by surrounding and mistake are made by their choices while one mistake lead to another. Although i cried few times in this short 24 episode, the ending makes me feel like there's something unsettled (the letter)? Perhaps season2 in the future idk.
Most problem of changing face and different actor in drama is that i cant get the same feeling as their previous self but the previous and current Luo Ailan have similar cheekbone structure and lips, and some angle their eyes have similar gaze so its not that bad as I can see the original soul inside the new face.
Romance part is okay I guess as it seems this story focus on revenge plot and I love revenge story. Also i love the story value in the very last episode "Punishment purpose is to reform oneself". I think having this kind of revenge is acceptable to teach, instead of following lust as the sole purpose. One would bring even more misery but another one is surely blessing. New perspective of revenge I still enjoy regardless

Wonderland Dream Team
This variety show surpassed my expectations with Shen Yue, Dylan Wang, Wang Xing Yue and Wang Zi Qi. I hope they continue to have the same cast members in Wonderland Season 5. I really enjoyed all the games and winter activities. I wish more screen time for the New cast members Shen Yue and Wang Xing Yue, especially when they were singing and won 1st Place in the concert. Also, we need Dylan Wang to complete a full season I know he is busy acting, but his personality and humour always electrify the rest of the cast members. Awards should have been given to all cast members on the show. Members that didn't attend Weibo like Wu Sulong and Shen Yue should have been rewarded too.Was this review helpful to you?

I'm not going to say anything differently that hasn't already been said about this beautiful, brilliant little masterpiece out of South Korea, but like always, I will be adding in my two cents. Let Free the Curse of Taekwondo was so much more than that of a BL genre. Instead, it taught us a valuable lesson of persevering, standing up for one's self, it's okay not to be perfect, letting go of the past, and moving on towards a better future. It taught a lot of others things as well, but I feel like that was what the majority of the series wanted us to learn. Let's Dive In.
I have pretty good experience with Hwang Da Seul's series in the past, and which she is great at doing hurt and love and lust and any other feeling that'll make you emotional. She handled this BL with grace and care and love, and it's very noticeable throughout. The first thing that I can point out that I loved is the cinematography. The colors, the gradient, the lights and the darks. So stinking pretty, right off the bat. Then we're introducing to Dohoe, brooding and miserable, compared to the bright light and ball of energy that is Juyeong. Opposites attract trope? Yeah. I'm seated. They both had their own version of trauma, one that Juyeong was immediately trying to protect Dohoe from, with his of trauma taking the back burner. Once they grow older, it's so evident how much hurt Dohoe experienced from that place growing up. You can feel so much anger and regret when he has to go back to the house, it's insane actually.
I think one aspect that annoyed me quite a lot was the back and forth between the leads as grown ups. They broke up and got back together like two times within a span of just an episode. Also, there's some disconnect to them as adults, mostly because of Juyeong still being the same and Dohoe having this like "I'm a grown up" act. But even after all of that is resolved, I still didn't feel much for them. They remind me of the couple that will enviably break up again, but for good. I also like the subtle shift of their lives compared to when they were children. Dohoe driving expensive cars and living in an upscale apartment with a good job while Juyeong is a taekwondo instructor, living in a small apartment who has to drive around in a van. I also don't really understand why Juyeong becomes close to Dohoe's dad and even is heartbroken when he dies. I think maybe because that was still a piece of Dohoe, and by being with his dad, he felt that he could be close to Dohoe; maybe also he was a sorry old man that didn't know how to take care of himself in anyway. Either way, that kind of threw me off too.
This series had so many plot twist, and with each one, my jaw was on the floor. Dohoe lying about going to college, Juyeong finding out about it and feeling guilty, Dohoe being the one to call the police, Hyeonho knowing the truth but still keeping his secret. Crazy, crazy stuff.
Rating:
Story: 8.5/10 - very intriguing. The romance was just the cherry on top, but the story was so interesting and just got better and better.
Acting: 9/10 - so, so, so good!
Music: 7/10 - didn't pay attention to it, but I did realize that most of the songs were in english!
Recommendation Value: 8/10 - definitely recommend! It's kind of sad, so I don't think this is the series for everybody, but the romance is adorable, and also Lee Sun looks great shirtless.

Even it's Bank ... this one was not for me :)
PLOT: The FL, heir to 1 gd gpe, loses everything when her parents die (murder) for the benefit of her "aunt" and her "niece" (Mental disorders - FL2). The father of the BF of the FL (ML2) is killed by the Great evil (father of the ML). The FL therefore marries the ML to investigate and take shelter from her aunt & niece, while waiting to recover what belongs to her.+++ Bank, adorable and very convincing as ML. Nevertheless, I am not very convinced by Pinkploy's performance, pretty but inexpressive (only some fake tears).
### Very classic storyline for a lakorn, with violent Villains, lots of screams, tears, fights. And I'm not talking about marriage blackmail, extortion, the number of deaths, ... and irrational behavior (including heroes)!
### Constant and too loud music.
=> Despite the charm of Bank, I only went through with FF and Speed X 1.5
********************************************************

Introverted character done right
Just finished this drama so I've got the final scene just dancing in my eyes. So cute, butterflies, and all that good stuff. I almost didn't watch this drama based on what people here said but fortunately I went ahead with it and no regrets, it was really well done. It's not a documentary, it's a drama. Yes, there are things that happen that in real life may not work out but for a drama it was entertaining. The ML battle with introversion was well done and not super glossed over. FL was extroverted but caring and helpful to the ML in finding his voice. Overall just a good , solid drama with some very nice kiss scenes that left me with some giddy school girl smiles.Bonus, the lead couple had scenes together after confessing which is always a welcome part of the story.
