Tiequando?

He is still winning and making friends on the streets. I wonder about his dad... He seems to be in less of a daze this episode...maybe he is finally getting some blood to his brain:)

Interesting...

I'm really intrigued to see the relation of Sakuraba-sensei and Teppei's father, as well as the assistant teacher's relationship with the little boy. For the most part, this episode was humorous, but not filled with the never-give-up feeling that the first two episodes contained. Now that Tachibana knows the information about Shimura's father, how will he use it? It will be interesting to see if he uses it to make Shimura's life better or worse...

This Episode...

made me cry again. The way that this new Onizuka handles situations is both great in terms of acting and very inspiring. Overall, I'm excited to see where this is going.

And, really, Miyabi is a nutcase, but Kawaguchi Haruna is playing her quite well. I'm actually happy to see her in a role that isn't supposed to be good or cute--I like that she's finally showing some range.

WTF IS HAPPENING?!

This is getting really fustrating now!! Is it a paralell universe or time travel?! The writers need to make their mind up!! They cant merge both of it together!!! I like the series but god I wish i can understand what the hell is happening with the whole time travelling thing!!

Young Rae again gets caught and needs saving...wish she could do something for herself or Jin than the other way round all the time!!!

Really curious in what this whole "secret" is and it'd better be awsome otherwise I'd go mental after all this time it turns out to be crap!

kim su-han-mu guh-bu-ki-wa du-ru-mi...

I am particularly fond of this episode for the first, gorgeous scenes of Joo Won imagining Ra Im at his side at every waking hour - and sleeping one too, I guess.

My mom is already fascinated by his character. I can't really blame her, there's something about an obnoxious anti-hero who says whatever comes to his mind without filtering it through civility, respect or social codes which can either deter you completely or intrigue you to the point of no return.

Joo Won to Oska: "Hyeong, does your head exist to make you look taller?"

Joo Won to Seul: "Although you don't strike me as very intelligent, you should know that if a man tells you he fell in love with you at first sight, he just wants to take you to bed without wasting much time."

Mom: "hahahahaha, this man is hilarious! Why did you tell me he was such a jerk? I mean, he's arrogant, but what he says is seldom wrong in itself."

me: "please, trust me. He IS a jerk. Don't cut him any slack or he's going to run you over with his shiny car - and tracksuit"

mom: "all right, all right. But Ra Im stands up to him. Good girl. If she were the timid, submissive type there would be no romance at all."

I must say it (and boast a little): my mom has the knack of getting to the core of the matter. :D

Two generations on the watch

I hope I'll be forgiven for the... unusual style of my episode reviews. Here's the thing: I am rewatching SG with my mother.

Rating and commentaries are going to be a summary of our weekly watch, the veteran of SG who basically knows the script by heart and an almost total newbie - my mom - who's at her second asian drama experience.

Opening scene: the garden.

mom: "wow! I think I'll like this thing for the scenery alone!"

me (thinking): wait until you see Binnie... :P

Joo Won comes down the stairs

mom: "............................. Rita, please tell me THIS man is going to be the main character"

me: "shall I remind you you are still harbouring a crush on Lee Seung Gi?"

mom: "what, are you telling me we need to be monogamist in our dreams too?"

me: "of course not, mom. Enjoy Joo Won"

Bridget Jones once said: never contradict your mother. She's right even when she's wrong.

At the end of the episode I watched her with the corner of my eye, fearing she would say something like: hmm, weird stuff. But no! She was enthusiastic. "Do you think we could double our weekly rendez-vous? I'm so going to like this!"

Ha!

TRAGIC!!

I dont know what to think of the ending...I never would have guessed it would be tragic but even so that is fine. But the thing is...it ends with him dying and thats it...no "lets show how everyone lives after his death" sort of thing. He just dies....I loved the whole series but the ending...I really dont know what to say about it.

After everything he just dies...surely there could be a better outcome that death....truly baffled!

Can't wait!!

Woah, I swear that no drama caused me to laugh like this! Haha! I love it how it's a mash up between fun and sadness. The previous storyline went out well and (as the preview for the next episode showed me) it will be much better.

Thumbs up!!!

Stupid facial expressions!

Okay, so i thought this episode was a bit better than the first episode. But seriously, what was with the actresses stupid facial expressions?!

When she was getting hugged, i couldn't even tell the emotion she was feeling at that time.

I find it so awkward watching her.

The only reason i'm going to continue this is because i like the story and Jiro Wang is in it.

Great start

I haven't watched a jdrama in what seems like ages. The last one I watched was Asuko March (which Takei Emi was also in) She's a really good actress and it's nice to see her in more dramas, improving.

At the start there were random people but as the series continue, I'm sure they'll make sense.. it's a bit predictable though. The old man is probably her real dad, who came to see her after ages "to see how she's getting on" perhaps? lol The guy who asked her to go to the hospital might be her brother or an admirer. I liked the ending song. :)

Save Gangmi

The ghost girl scared me o.0 Also, the pretend girlfriend is getting on my nerves.. Aww the hug scene between Woohyun and Gangmi ;-; We need more of this couple.

Also I like how there are two cases going on (again), if you aren't really interested in one case then the other one will keep you wanting to finish the episode. That way it doesn't really get boring. OH GOD THE ENDING!! Everything was planned out!! That's quite a clever way of killing though, I must admit. Woohyun, you have to save her!!

It could have been better.

Episode three didn't amuse me as much as the first two episodes had but I guess the last fifteen minutes made the episode quite enjoyable. I wasn't a fan of Oguri Shun in the past I even wondered "Why is this guy so famous?? He was terrible as Rui" but this drama has made me realise why Oguri Shun is who he is. He is one fine actor and he has the stage presence which every actor needs to make the audience fall in love.

I was expecting quite a lot with the reason behind the name change and why she knows his mothers name and I was pretty disappointed. They made me feel like their first encounter was something special but by the time the flashback was over I was left scratching my head saying "Really" over and over again.
