Aoi Honoo (2014)

Both are about Manga Publishing, while Aoi Honoo is about a struggling rookie Mangaka, Juhan Shuttai has an Manga editor at the centre of the story.

Both were adaptation of the works of mangaka Shimamoto Kazuhiko. Both were strangely fun and compelling in spite (or because?) of over-the-top acting.

Both are about lives of mangakas. Both are very similar.................................................................
