This is an excellent drama! Comedy/murder mystery is always a winning combination if done correctly, and Saengchori certainly was. The writing in this drama is fantastic -- there are typical K-drama over-the-top jokes, sure, but plenty of clever little bits and references to other dramas that make it an absolute joy to watch. The acting is quite good, and the cast works well off each other's reactions. This is the kind of drama where you will find all the characters interesting and worth paying attention to, not just the main characters. Not much to say about the music, but the scattered use of Phantom of the Opera themes was a joy to say the least.

Some people may have issues with the pacing, since even though it is a murder mystery suspense, the bulk of the drama is kind of slice-of-life office life. However, the show is so fun and well-done that this did not bother me, personally. The only thing that seemed a bit off was the inevitable romance arc, but it certainly wasn't the focus of the show.

If you are looking for an all around wonderful drama that is different from your usual drama fare, this would be the perfect one to add to your list!

So... this drama is FINALLY with subs on dramacrazy, so you can watch it there. YAY ^_^
I read in other reviews, that you can just skip from ep 10 to the end. PLEASE, DONT DO THAT! Actually, the second half of the drama is just the best! You get plenty of romance (plus lots of cute kisses O_o).
But let me start from the beginning.
Story - very original. The mystery in it is really interesting... you just dont know what the hell is going on, or who is the culpit. The romance line is also original - it flows slowly, but later became sooo cute and funny, that you just want mooore! :D
Acting - BEST :D youre gonna love everyone
Rewatch a overall - its great. Im definatelly gonna rewatch it sometimes. I think this is gonna be my favourite drama of all times.

You can not miss it!!!

Hilarious.Loved it.

A Korean office drama that didn't annoy me but kept me entertained (laughing) and guessing until the end.

The setting in a Korean village was interesting as well.
The characters were all wacky and fun. Not much of a romantic story but quite enjoyable anyway.

The ending was the best. Wow.

Highly recommended comedy drama that is a bit quirky.

Contains some SPOILERS in the third paragraph!!!!!!

This drama was very enjoyable and it kept me watching it through until maybe around episode 15 I feel kinda sunk due to the romance, but the comedy was very good from beginning to end.

If I rated this base on just a comedy show I would give it a 10 because my god it was funny as hell. This is also a mystery show which shows up every once in a while, but seems to be sidetracked most of the time because the show mostly focuses on the office workers and there relationships. I did like that small side of seriousness to it because it gave me time to breath from laughing so much.

My problem was with the characters and romance. I did like all the characters they were all very funny and enjoyable to watch, but my problem was with Mr.Jo and the female lead. At first Mr.Jo starts of as a guy who is just cold and doesn't give a shit about peoples feelings, but later on changes due to the female lead. I do like the cold bastard to a nice guy change usually, but the way they made the change here was a bit to sudden. He goes from calm and collected one day to crazy desperate the next day. The way he gets jealous was funny, but same time annoying as he took out his anger on others.
Also I hated how the main lead female cared about the feelings of Victoria one second then the next she just suddenly forgets. Like what the fuck. I just feel the changes to these two characters were way to sudden and should have been developed more slowly.

As for the acting, I found it to be decent except for at times the crying and reactions to serous shit ( like death ) were pretty terrible. The crying though I think they just made it bad to be funny, but that is just how I took it.

I would definitely recommend this show, I feel it is a bit underrated and should be more popular.

This is ONE unknown, underappreciated GEM of a drama, lemme tell you.
It starts out super silly and you might cringe a little at the first episode (well, I did and almost stopped) but after that starts the magic!
What makes a good drama is not the looks and fame of the actors, as is in most cases these days - but a lot of things like the story, the portrayal of the characters and the substance in the series. Saengchori for me had all of that).

Sure you haven't heard of this k-drama but give it a try. It's gonna hurt your sides laughing.
:3 G'luck!

..

Unhinged comedy! The earlier parts were a solid comedy full of jokes and this is it's main attraction but unfortunately they tuned down the comedy a bit in the later parts. Maybe if it was cut down to 12 episodes they would be able to refine the comedy and fit it in a better package. Anyway, it's still a fun show to turn off your brain and just laugh.

This drama is not your typical K drama. Each episode is devoted to making you laugh till you cry. Other than that, it doesn\''\''t offer much of anything. Yes there is a romance, but it is slowly (i mean slowly) weaved through the episodes. This is why after watching 10 episodes I decided to skip to the end. The last episode was amazing. Many things happen finally. It was exciting, funny, and also heartbreaking. But I mean to have to get through 19 episodes before the plot becomes relevant is torture to the audience. Oh yeah, the murder mystery is interesting, but I think even that is slowly weaved. This drama is for people who don\''\''t mind comedies that become repetitive. If you do end up watching, Id recommend watching maybe 2 eps a day definitely do not marathon cause you will get bored and probably feel like dropping. Shout out to the cast though cause they all filled their wacky but lovable roles perfectly!
