A masterpiece of comedy and psychological drama
On no other drama have I laughed and cried as much as here and every laugh and tear made me happy. It's not that I'm a masochist. The tears were due to the really wonderful storyline and emotional acting. Sometimes they were tears of emotion and sometimes of laughter and sometimes of I don't know what because the mood changed so fast I couldn't keep up, but I loved it.I avoid dramas about DID and psychological problems in general because they are either too serious or too silly. "Kill me, heal me" is neither. It portrays the problem of multiple personalities in a really clever way and each of those personalities has an absolutely wonderful charm. Here, a big bow goes to Ji Sung, who rose to the acting challenge to the point where his individual personalities had their own fans. My favorite personality is Park Perry, although Ahn Yu Na provided the most laughs for me.
The problem told in "Kill Me, Heal Me" is an important and difficult one, but the creators told it in such a way that it's hard not to love the story, even though I know people who absolutely disliked the drama. For me it became one of my favorite dramas from the very first episode where the viewer got the right plot construction and the perfect balance of humor, emotion, and curiosity about what will happen next. The following episodes were only more interesting. Even the ending was beautiful.
Finally, a few words about the music. It's really excellent, although a bit exaggerated, but it perfectly reflects the character of the scenes and characters. It's one of the strongest elements creating the mood of this drama.
Is it worth watching again? Definitely YES!

Haha so make sure you don't have any tests or finals you need to study for while watching this drama.
I loved it. I hardly rate any drama's ten, and I rate this one a ten. This is definitely one of my favorites.
Acting/Cast: Ji Sung did an absolutely amazing job with his character. Everytime he changed his personality he really changed, I could hardly recognize him. He was also very moving, I cried so many times. He was great.
As for the rest of the cast, they did a good job too.
The only reason I give this category a 9.5 is because of Hwang Jun-eum's crying.... When you watch it you will see what I mean.
Music: Very good music
Rewatch Value: The only reason I give this a 9.5 is because I don't really rewatch dramas. But if I had to, I would probably rewatch this one.

Just another chaebol + ordinary FL bland love story with an extra shock factor
I have had this title on my watchlist for a long time now and was excited to one day give it a try after seeing all the high ratings and good reviews, all which seemed to be solidly justified by the interesting premise of the show. The first episode was interesting and got me hooked. Loved the main OST title ("Hallucination"), although after being overplayed at every single "dramatic" scene with flashbacks from the past (which was like 20 times per episode) it got rather lackluster. Loved the switch between personalities and was impressed with Ji Sung's acting, as this was also my first time watching one of his shows. Despite not initially liking the FL (and I don't understand exactly what it was, maybe the hairstyle, but it looked so weird to me when she was fighting with her brother and him mentioning he's older than her so she should call him oppa because to me she seemed way older than him like they were noona and dongseng), I was hoping it would get better. Oh boy, was I wrong.
The writing for this kdrama was so generic and bland, it seems the only times the screenwriters took any steps away from the traditional kdrama recipe was when the other personalities of the ML were involved, but ultimately only Shin Se Gi's actions actually had any sort of impact on the plot. The original ML personality was pretty boring and felt like he had little to no character development, along with the FL. The love story was also bland, full of tropey scenes that instead of bringing comedic relief, only managed to bring the quality of the drama even lower, once again relying on the "childhood connection trope" which is obviously enough for 2 characters with very few meaningful interactions to become soulmates (/s).
There were no real resolutions regarding the 'villains' of the drama and to be honest they were so unmemorable I already forgot their names.
Her brother was such an unecessary character I don't think he was in any meaningful scenes in the last few eps. And his storyline with being a secret writer didn't add anything to the main plot. Not even mentioning that at some point it's revealed that he's actually in love with the FL.. wtf was that? I know they're not blood related, but still, they grew up as siblings.
Overall, if I were to make a pro-cons list, it would look like this:
pros:
+ very entertaining acting from Ji Sung taking on 7 different personalities (more specifically impressed with Shin Se Gi, Perry Park and Ahn Yo Na).
+ Shin Se Gi everything
+ the main OST.
cons:
- sort of everything else.
Overall I wouldn't recommend this drama unless you're a big fan of Ji Sung or you're not necessarily interested in a good watch, just something to have on the screen when eating.

Reading the overview & reviews I've expected that this would be a semi episodic drama where every couple of episodes an alter ego would be resolved. I thought it would be like a medical drama that that briefly touches upon some serious topics, with some romantic comedy added in, very much like what I've experienced in "It's Okay, That's Love". That's not it, the medical things are just fluff with no consequences, the FL does not do anything that a doctor should do with a mental patient. Despite this show being a fairly recent 2015 title it feels old, it's very much like a 2005 drama. It has several cliches that have been retired long ago, also at certain points in the drama I felt that it's overflowing with makjang. The second FL did not have a lot of screen time, but whenever she was on I found her character to be completely unnecessary and annoying. I like Park Sojoon as an actor, but oh my god his character was annoying me to no end, he portrayed a very oldschool second ML. The chaebol infighting wasn't interesting at all, even though this topic has been done to death, I've seen MUCH better written and more interesting iterations, both in older and newer dramas. There are also some serious problems with the pacing, there is a lot of filler in the first 17 episodes, the story becomes quite draggy in the middle. This could have been acceptable, but after all that time they only delivered a 10 minutes long happy ending & many of the story threads aren't really resolved in a satisfying way. (like what happens with mom, dad, second FL etc etc) The last 90 minutes are really rushed and I'm not entirely happy with the conclusion. I feel that there were some missed opportunities, imagine an alternate ending where Segi & Dohyon join hands to navigate both their personal & professional lives with great success. Also our villains were dealt with under a minute, it's not as bad as their entire family dying, because they get hit by a meteor, but it's a nearly as random of a conclusion to their story. Despite all of the above this drama has some outstanding qualities. The main actors were an awesome pair, they've had good chemistry. I have liked Hwang Jongeum already and she did not disappoint. Ji Sung delivered some genuinely impressive acting, maybe the best acting I've seen in the alter ego genre thus far. If I look at the story as a romcom & ignore everything else then it is a very good romcom, there were some exceptionally funny moments. Even though many of the supporting characters were not very well written, the actors playing them were quite good, especially Kim SeulGi, it would be nice to see her as a main lead someday.
The OST is also a bit oldschool, but it's really good, especially the title track.
8/10 seems a bit too high of a rating, but I was entertained enough I suppose..

First of all the story was so heart-wrenching but sweet. I loved that it seems like a comedic melodrama, they infuse the pain with humor to make it go down a bit easier. Other melodramas that I have watched have made me just miserable the whole time. But with this there was always a light in the darkness.
The first half of this was like a romantic comedy, I was laughing like a loon. But even when things get heavy theres always a glimmer of that comedy.
The acting was amazing from Ji Sung! He took on all the personas and it really felt like you were watching a completely different person. I had first seen him in Protect the Boss where he also did an amazing job but his acting here is flawless. He made me feel genuine affection for each and every alter ego and made me tear up when they finally departed. Shin Se ki was my favourite alter ego followed by Ahn Yo Na, I could seriously watch a drama based on Shin Se ki alone, his intensity was amazing.
I absolutely loved this drama. I can definitely see myself rewatching this. I'd recommend this to anyone who loves melodramas, psychological romances and even comedic romance. Just be prepared to laugh, cry and smile.

at first i wasn't impressed, because i don't really like it when the main character is a little older, but i forgot about that after the 1. episode already.
now let me tell you how awesome this drama was.
what made the drama outstanding for me were many things
- first it was a very brilliant idea to make a drama about a man with split personalitys, i personally think, it's hard to act as many people at the same time in a drama. but you really believed that the personalitys are different. of course you know it's the same actor or person, but i didn't get that feeling while watching.
- which leads to my second point: the acting. i don't know how to put it in words, how awesome i think the acting was. ji sung pulled the characters of so great and believable. you start to recognize which character is coming out, the first second he looks at the camera. I never saw a actor so awesome until now.
- the characters he portrayed were so lovable. there wasn't even one of his personalitys i disliked (well i've got to admit i didn't like se gi at first. but after a few episodes i felt so bad for him, that i started loving him)
- the plot twists are amazing and so creative, that i had to catch my breath. i expected a little things, when the hints were given, but what they made of it was so much more shocking, than what i thought of.
- i kinda suffered of second-lead-syndrome again, but in a way that made it not awful to watch. i really really loved the second lead, but i didn't want him to be together with her. it didn't made it less hurting at the end (i cried so much), but i felt relieved, that he still accepted it .
At the end i have to say this drama made me feel worse at the end, than healer did. Because i still have to look for a new drama and hate that it ended, but i really feel like i lost a good friend, the moment i watched the last minute.
Please please watch it. You definitely won't regret it, because so far it's one of the best dramas this year.

Darn this drama! MORE THAN AMAZING!!!
It's interesting especially for me since I am a psychology student and a medicine student soon.
The male lead actor is too amazing. His acting skills, two thumbs up!!!!!!!!!! I can actually feel that every personality he portrayed is a different person. I cried a lot!!! He should win an Oscars!!!! lol. O by the way, Shin Se Ki is my favorite alter ego. Hehe. Sometimes I feel so fucked up because I want Shin Se Ki to be the main lead, then later on remembered that Shin Se Ki and Do Hyun is just the same. How weird is that? For me, this just proves how amazing Ji Sung portrayed his role! You my man!
Their OST is too damn nice! Hallucinations left a mark in me. It totally fits the drama!!!!
The story!!! Oh em! This is soooo good. I really dig stories that has depth! I especially love that when both lead actor and actress has a dark past. Unveiling it is really thrilling and satisfying for me.

CAST: Everyone is really great in the show but I am really amazed by Ji Sung's acting skills! Didn't expect him to portray very well not just one role, but all the personalities! He really should deserve at least an excellence award for this year's drama awards! Furthermore, if you watch some of the behind-the-scene cuts, you will find out that he actually directed some of the scenes himself, which is totally unscripted at all - this makes me respect him as an actor more.
MUSIC: I rated high because the OST Auditory Hallucination attracts me ever since the first episode and till the last episode, I am still loving the song! Just love how the soundtrack suits those scenes when it is being played! However, I was slightly disappointed of the other soundtracks because they are only so-so.
So yup, there isn't anything much that I am disliking about this drama, except for the ending which I am doubtful if I should be satisfied about it. And I really learn something in this show - to be brave and overcome our fears no matter what. But really, a worth to watch drama overall! It can just bring you laughter, keeping you in suspense, as well as sadness!!
