I was really excited to watch this drama. As soon as I read what the story was about I wanted to see it, because it reminded me a lot of Autumn's Concerto.

So, it started really good, and then it got tired and in the end it just sucked. The characters aren't well written so it's like hearing them say the same thing over and over again. You never really get to know them. It doesn't have good secondary characters either. Her friend, Hyung Sung is really stalker, and I got the creeps watching him, he didn't make me feel anything, just annoyance. The female lead isn't likeable, as opposed to Mu Cheng in AC. Here you don't feel sorry for her situation, you just get tired of her not sticking up for herself. The male lead is really just cheesy, you don't sense any real feelings. And the story has like really huge holes, and in other parts it just keeps repeating.

One of the main reasons I started to watch this drama was because of Jo Hyun Jae, I just simply loved him in 49 days and I thought he was a really good actor. But here, I don't know if it's because he was just starting his career or because the script wasn't really good but he just came out flat. Han Chae Young, who is really famous for her role on Delightful Girl Choong Hyan, really didn't stand out here, she didn't make me feel anything. As for the other two who completed the love square, they were just creepy.

The music wasn't anything special, although it did fit the scenes. I specially liked one which was like the intro to Aerosmith's "I don't wanna miss a thing."

In rewatch value, I wouldn't ever watch it again, specially because I got really bored at the end and just pressed fast forward in the tiring scenes.

Overall, it really isn't a good drama, although if you like soap operas, you probably will like this.

Story- Had an interesting story idea. Started off strong and in the middle got really good. Towards the last couple episodes everything got repetitive. The ending was happy.

Acting/Cast- Okay so I love Han Chae Young as an actress in DElightful Girl but here shes seems to fall flat. I also think she just had an okay chemistry with Jo Hyun Jae. nothing to make me wish they were never apart. Speaking of him, I loved him in 49 Days but here he is nothing special. I actually preferred Lee Chun Hee. He was just so cute and his love for the female lead shined through more than JHJ's character. The little boy was too cute!

Music- Very creative as most of the songs featured had the words "only you" somewhere in the lyrics like the Title of the Drama. There was also some funky music involved during scenes.

Rewatch- I don't think I can rewatch this because of the last episodes and because of the lack of exciting chemistry among the leads.

Overall- This is an ordinary drama to watch once if you finished all the other amazing dramas out there.

.

What kind of male lead is this? All he does is frowning, shouting and being an aggressive douchebag. It's full of unlikable characters and the how they executed the story didn't help either. The kid is included in the plot but had a total of 3 scenes. And then there's the half-assed ending...

Considering the fact that this drama was in 2004, it is one at that time that has original plot and the cinematography was great especially at the start. This is one of the first Korean drama I had watched and I am re-watching it again. I love this drama because it was light and most of the time funny. Han Chae Young was prefect for the role as Cha Eun Jae while Jo Hyun Jae was a heartthrob in the making. This drama spiraled his popularity in mid-2000's.

This drama is not perfect but it got me hooked!

A drama that make me tired

Really hard to put a word about this drama. But really I just feel tired by watching the FL, Cha Eun Jae (EJ) in here. Oh so much I want to slap that girl...

This drama has 2 stupid man, 1 stupid woman & 1 selfish woman. The 3 idiots do everything in the name of love... The nominee are:
1. The biggest idiot in the dramaland Jung Hyun Sung (HS). He's been rejected over & over & over by EJ. But still can't give her up. Oh he tried, for 6 years to be separated from EJ & yet still can't forget her. After 6 years the first thing he did, he help her with her family debt that make EJ & her family kinda in debt with him. He also buy house to be lived by him & EJ family, yeah way to more torture himself.
2. Ji Soo Yun. At first I still have respect for this girl. I hope she is not the stupid girl that do stupid thing in the name of love. But boy oh boy. With the more episode rolling this girl has less and less respect from me. She did unspeakable stupid things in the name of love. Ugh really tired with this kind of girl.
3. Han Yi Joon (YJ). Well he is ML & yeah he did all the stupid thing that ML did in the dramaland . & sometimes we just romanticize it. But if you want to think him as not ML & see how EJ actually kinda disgrace him. Yeah he kinda stupid in a way....

Ok now about our FL
EJ is one of the most selfish woman in the drama world. Usually with this type of girl we have a best friend that can help us 'slap' her, but here no she has no such friend, & that's make me wanna more slap her. Her trait make us hard to sympathies with her. She is one we used to called doormat girl, always try to make everyone not hurt & by that she instead makes everyone hurt.

EJ & her family has debt to HS. And she's well aware of HS feeling toward her. So instead just give space upfront she just be kind & feeling debt & simply torturing HS feeling in the end. Cause she's the girl that can't say no & give a d*mn space.

Not only that she's also torturing YJ, by once again not giving a d*mn clarity about everything & still choose to be near him... At first she like play with both YJ & HS feeling back & forward. She knows who she choose, but her attitude never represent it & what visible is she play with both men feeling. Ugh... It's even make me tired just to describe her.

What make me hang till the end only one. I just want to see how the story between EJ-HS-YJ come out in the end...

Of it's time - Aggressive, selfish violent stalker ML

I made it through a fair bit with a fair bit of FF and a fair bit of gritted teeth but I should have known better and dropped it earlier.
This is just a warning review - It's 'of it's time' so be prepared for - being a single mother gives every petty twat the right to publicly abuse you - the ML acting like a spoiled child - showing his love by physically and mentally abusing the FL - being a stalker and using all sorts of emotional blackmail and threats to get his way - even the FLs son; the various rubbish parents, and crazy one sided lovers. The FL who succeeds against the odds -
The friend zoned mighty nice SL etc. etc.

If you've watched older dramas in particular you've seen it all before, the terrible ML and a 'nice' female lead who inexplicably 'loves' him, shouting, bullying, crying - it's arse don't watch it.
