ACTING/CAST: Superb, all around. The performances by the cast that played the families was fantastic.
MUSIC: Standard music for a drama.
REWATCH VALUE: Oh yeah, gonna watch it with a friend.
OVERALL: A very satisfying continuation of the story. Don't forget to watch the outtakes! Also, these guys have a lot of fan service so check that stuff out. Also check out the Like Love shorts, He's Next to You.
TL;DR: The relationship is threatened by families on both sides, and the boys must persevere.

I was quite lost at first because I didn't know where to start. I ended up starting by Like Love the series and then the two movies. I think I made the right choice!! I'm really sad that they won't be making the last movie. I think it stands out from other bl dramas because of the relationship's dynamics. Even though this wasn't perfect, it gave me all the feels and I lost count of how many times I screamed while watching this series. The kisses are SO good. They surely have chemistry. The hot scenes... Jesus Christ. They were very explicit but at the same time I didn't think they were "ugly"?? I dont know how to explain but I don't usually like when there are sex scenes as explicit as the ones in here but the main couple had so much chemistry that I didn't mind at all. I thought they were very beautiful. I'm sorry but even though Ziyan was grumpy as hell he truly deserved to be happy. I like me some bad boys who are in fact good. I don't want to spoil anything but his development throughout the movies/series made me emotional. Some people might have not noticed it but I think his love for MaiDing really turned him into a different man. Ahhh what a crush.
One of the best parts was the soundtrack. I haven't watched many chinese shows but I have noticed that the ballads are stunning. I'll download all of them!
I will probably rewatch this many many many times. And now let's go follow the actors on social media. haha

From Zi Yan’s “don’t mess with my man or I will mess with your face” attitude and his willingness to overcome mountains to be with Mai Ding to his expressions of love, very explicitly, I might add (!). From Mai Ding’s “I will take my man’s expressions of love anywhere, anytime, thank you very much” to him upping his trash talk game with..you guess it, his man.
Their continuing banter is one of the highlights for me in this sequel. “Our romance comes with bromance” could qualify as their theme!
I’d say this is equally enjoyable as the first series, and sequels rarely live up to expectations for me.

Better than season 1
Property and camera are getting improved, the story is funnier than season 1. The cast increasingly plays pro in their acting, especially Mai's mother not only her acting but the script for her roll as mai's mom is also played and written well. But i'm bit dissapointed in the edge of this movie when Mai's mom forbids them to be together, i expect her character accepts it little by little but the reality in this show is suddenly she just "accepting".What i love about this season 2 of this movie : (1) Mai's mother acting and her character quite realistic when she knew Mai and An Zi have an affair; (2) I had lots of laughter in the beggining of this movie; (3) Smexy scenes
The bad is : (1) This movie has "BAM-BAM-BAM" story, i mean suddenly script turns like this, suddenly turns like that, but not as much as "BAM-BAM-BAM" in the season 1; (2) This is just my own opinion why An Zi's sister looks like older more than their mum? And An Zi's grandfather looks like same age as An Zi's father; (3) Smexy scenes not as hot and vivid as season 1.

I'm still hoping for season 3 but if my research was right there's o chance at all.
Acting skills improve a lot even the Production.
I'm not a good Series Reviewer and I know that.
But one thing I'm telling you this is a masterpiece for me and must watch..

WHAT THE.... ????
Why did they introduce a new conflict at the very last episode --- if they won't follow it up with another season? This ended in 2015. It's now 2021, so most probably, there won't be a Season 3. This is another ADDICTED HEROIN -- cliffhanged forever!Btw, Season 1 is much better than this Season 2. This has unnecessary plots that didn't help in the main story arc -- like the couple they met at the beach -- and that ridiculous subplot about baby photos being used for blackmail. What's with that??
Speaking of the beach couple, that YanYan and An Ziyan's chemistry is oozing! They should have a BL together!
The best thing about this Season is the acting of Maiding's mother and other support actors. However, it wasn't made clear what made Mai Ding's parents suddenly change their mind (literally overnight!) and accept An Ziyan as their "son-in-law." So many flaws and loopholes.
One surprise though are the sex scenes. Take note that this is from CHINA! Very brave of the producers!
One (obviously) unintentionally funny scene was the love making in the car. It was interspersed with An Ziyan singing a love song to Mai Ding. I don't know but it just came out really laughable and quite ridiculous!
Another thing that is quite bothersome is this: Why are all the lights and lamps turned ON even during daytime in ALL interior scenes? Amateur lighting director? Sorry, but they're really distracting!
And what's with that big, monstrous frame behind the dining table in Mai Ding's house? An empty frame without a mirror or a painting?? Sorry, but it is really attention hugging.
And that girl that Mai Ding's parents want him to date --- how old is she? She looks 10 years older than Mai Ding when they're supposed to be the same age! And An Ziyan's sister who looks older than her mother!
In summary: They should have stopped at Season 1.

a GOOD ONE
although the story has fast pacing I really enjoyed watching this movie. The two main characters have a completely different personality but the chemistry is amazing and they were able to portray in the best way. The other one is kinda funny and the other one is full of seriousness that really fits his character. There is no awkwardness on the intimate scenes which I find it romantic and hot. The uncut version of this movie contains the super hot sex scenes and you can choose the cut version if you're not into that kind of scenes. The choice of music was great especially the classic songs. I even heard listen by Beyonce and that makes me LOl. I'm not quite sure tho if that was on the original movie or it was edited by the uploader. The story was cool and romantic although I have seen a lot of movies and series like this. Basically, part 2 was the continuation of their love from the first movie but the ending of the second movie was hanging since it was banned in China after. The ending was, a man came up and he's trying to blackmail Zi Yan and that's where the story ends. Still, it was a happy ending, they surpass a lot of hindrances in their romantic life before so I think they can get over with this. I just hate China for banning BL like this. Good movie to watch! So much better than part 1
The show was good, but this was great. The show was oddly progressed and spliced together whereas this one flowed and made sense. It does end on a cliff hanger which is sad considering it was canceled after. However, I'm not rattled by the cliff hanger because these two can get through anything and the audience is aware of the misunderstanding taking place. So it's not a terrible ending.I love watching these guys. They are so odd and funny. The couple they met was also a great touch. Very enjoyable!
