The plot was really cute and I loved how they used animation to illustrate some of the more vivid superpower scenes/actions/imagination. It was not overreacted and flowed perfectly.
There were really cute moments throughout the whole movie, and it just showed that this is really a sweet cute high school romcom!!
The use of sound effects and the music was PRICELESS! They kind of used over the top sound effects which really fit into the whole movie.
If you are only just getting into thai movies or you are already a fan of them, this lighthearted romcom is really worth watching! With great cast and great acting, it was really nice to watch!

This movie is incredibly goofy and sometimes dramatic but also unexpectedly charming in it's style and execution. The young actors give stellar performances, and the story has a genuine heart at the center to ground it's more over-the-top elements.The main conceit of the film, May's condition, is very well handled. While completely made up and unbelievable, it's very well used to explore the nuances of not fitting in or being unable to connect with your peers and feeling heartbreakingly alone and different. And May herself is extremely likable, so you automatically feel for her and the struggles she faces.
Pong, while extremely likable and well-written in his own right, is unfortunately also the source of my least favorite aspect of this film, as the first half has a number of plot points (of his own making) involving some unnecessarily perverted and degrading humor. I very much could have done without that or even have been willing to accept it if the behavior had been followed up by some form of appropriate consequences or punishment. And while some of the characters are rightfully angered by it, and he does attempt to write the wrongs, it's never fully dealt with, and I didn't like that. (Especially in a film aimed at a young audience that is extremely impressionable.)
Perhaps the most pleasant surprise of the film is the animation. You don't expect it when it first shows up, but it quickly becomes a vital addition to the storytelling. The animated sequences are not only superbly done, they're also incredibly creative and a lot of fun and serve as an important tool for exploring our characters and who they are. I loved seeing Pong's imaginative stories come to life on screen (minus the perverted parts).
And I guess my final thought about this film is wow, does the last third of the movie have a lot of twists. They're well-utilized and heartfelt, but they also sorta keep coming, and you start to wonder if they're ever gonna stop.
So yeah, this movie is really cute and enjoyable, and I kind of want to immediately watch it again, lol.

This is such a adorable movie!!!
I think any generation will enjoy it.
I love that this drama was made using both animation and real-life, in such a way that is doesn't even look stupid. Actually beautifully succeeded. There is very little films or dramas that try this and actually succeed.
The music match the scenes perfectly, and the ending is cute-af.
I don't usually re-watch any movies or dramas, but if I walked in a room while this film is playing, I would probably sit down and watch it again.

This is how you do a teenage rom-com
I love this.The comedy is spot-on, both all of the characters (the students of class 8/1 are a hoot!) and the comedic timing. It's very silly, and still the film has some depth.
The eternal desire of highschool students -- I want to fit in -- is tackled for several characters' perspective. Whether it is that your secret crush is exposed in the most demeaning way, whether you have a condition that sets you apart form the others, or whether your nipples are inverted -- all of us want recognition, and even love. But how to achieve that?
This rom-com is not only funny as heck until the last minute, it also surprised me not only with a positive message, but also with excellent acting, a good pacing, great animation(!), and very, very likable characters.

While Pong has a one-sided love for the pretty cheerleader, Ming, May, also, is experiencing the same for the ever handsome and popular school heartthrob Fame. Through their shared one-sided love and being outcasts in school, Pong and May becomes friends. They tried to help each other out with their love life. As Pong starts to like May, Fame also begins to take notice of May. Now, we have a full-on love square. What I love about this movie is that in 2 hours it was able to connect me, as a viewer, to each character, especially the two main leads. I love that interspersed throughout the movie are the cartoons/anime which only adds to the depth of the storytelling. The movie is funny, sweet, heartwarming, and playful. The happy ending is cherry on top. Was this review helpful to you?
so funny and enjoyable!!
rewatching this in 2024 and it still feels enjoyable. this is the first Thai movie i watched, Punpun and Thiti are the first Thai actors i knew, i remember watching May Who when i was in elementary school. the plot is light and very funny, i can't stop laughing. the portrayal of Pong's sincere love and Thiti is very sweet and handsome, it's so delightful to see. i will definitely rewatch this again, what a good old movie!Tor and Thanaerng made this movie even enjoyable. even though it lasted 2 hours, it felt very short because it was so enjoyable.

É ESSE!
Fui olhar May Who? por causa do prota super lindo, vulgo Thanapob. Mas acabei encontrando muito mais que isso.
É um filme muito perfeitinho, com a trilha sonora maravilhosa, o cast muito bom e uma grande ideia de plot;
Confesso que o fim me deu um pequeno desgosto por "não saber", entre aspas mesmo porque tá na cara que ela ficou com o ???? licença.
E ainda só queria dizer que o Pong, sem dúvidas, é o melhor personagem do mundo <3
Acho que devem muito assistir e dar muito amor pra esse filme;
