Eun Yi works as an editor for a fashion magazine. She keeps failing in relationships with men, but doesn't get along with her colleagues. In Ho was a promising ballet dancer. Two years ago he lifted a female dancer, but dropped her on accident. Because of this accident the woman was unable to dance any further and, now, In-Ho won't dance with women anymore. In-Ho now hopes to become a musical choreographer. Unfortunately for In-Ho, he doesn't have a place to stay. He goes to a bar where his friend Eun Soo works. Later that night, Eun Soo takes In Ho over to his older sister's house (fashion magazine editor Eun Yi). When Eun Yi arrives at her home, she walks into the bathroom and sees someone brushing her teeth. As she walks by she pats him on his rear end, assuming the guy is her younger brother Eun-Soo. When the guy turns around she's shocked that it is a complete stranger. Eun Soo then asks his older sister Eun-Yi if In-Ho can stay at her place temporarily, telling her that he's really good with household chores. Eun Yi disapproves of the idea, but that night Eun-Soo accepts money from In-Ho to stay at her sister's place. The next evening, on a rainy night, Eun Yi walks home and finds a large blue box on front of her home. When she looks inside of the box she's shocked again to see the guy the from the other day, In Ho, sitting in the box. Ji Eun brings sopping wet In-Ho into her apartment, while she tries to contact her younger brother. Her younger brother doesn't answer her calls. Oddly enough, In-Ho reminds Eun Yi of her former pet dog Momo. Eun Yi then comes up with an arrangement. She will let In Ho stay at her apartment if he will become her pet dog named Momo. As they become more familiar and comfortable with each other, Eun Yi's first love Cha Woo Sung comes to her office looking for her ... Going into this movie I kept telling myself that I wouldn't compare it to the drama, and that was actually pretty easily done. If you are a huge fan of the Japanese drama, you will not like this, unless your like me.

The story, is not original, seeings how its been done before, however its not like the drama either. I liked the movie because, it was lighthearted, and I was in major need of the fluffiness of it. It's upbeat, and not to serious.

Chemistry wise, could have been better. JGS was very adorkable in his role as Momo. You don't actually believe he is a pet, but you can see the cute qualities of a pet in him. He maintained his pride as a man, while being what she needed.

For "Momo" to supposedly be a dancer, I was very disappointed. There wasn't enough dancing. And, the music seemed sub-par to me.

I would re-watch this, if after a spat of really sad melodrama's, I need a pick-me-up.

Overall, not a bad movie, but not a great one either.

I had already seen the Japanese version and read the manga(kimi wa petto) and loved them, so I had very high hopes for the Korean version. On top of that Jang Geun Seok was the main actor, so I was very excited to see it.

After watching this movie I was very disappointed. The story line was very weak and felt rushed. By the end of the movie it felt like I had missed most of the story. This would have been great as a drama because the story would have had more time to develop.

If you haven't seen the jdrama version or read the manga you might enjoy this. The story is really unique and interesting and this version was cute and funny. Even though I won't rewatch this movie I defiantly think it at least worth giving it a try.
