Louie had everything to be the emotionless, brooding chaebol, but fortunately he steers away from that trope and is actually a very cute, clumsy and adorable lead. I praise Seo In Guk for his performance here, because if not played well this character could've easily turned into a spoiled, petty brat, but the actor really portrays him with a lot of charisma. Bok Shil is also nice, she's a bit too naive sometimes, but she's also not just a doormat who lets everyone walk all over her. There's some annoying secondary characters, the only ones I liked were the butler, his love interest and Louie's grandma.
The story flows nicely most of the time, but I'll admit it gets a bit boring at some points towards the end. The plot was also full o cliches, although I wasn't too bothered by them. The OST is okay, I didn't really think Tiger Moth fit in well in the scenes it was played and although there's some disney songs that I love, I think it lacked more of an original, quality track.
Overall this show is pretty good, specially if you're looking for a light rom-com that you can just shut your brain off and appreciate.

Loved this so much (ugh Seo In Guk is an adorable puppy)
I LOVED THIS AND BELIEVE EVERYONE SHOULD WATCH IT IF THEY HAVEN'T ALREADY.^ that's my opinion of this kdrama in a nutshell.
Story: Honestly I had a lot of fun (and emotions) watching this drama. Watching the friendship and relationship grow between the leads was beautiful and so wholesome. I know a lot of people get fed up with how childish the ML is (esp when it comes to money) but I never once got annoyed. And a childish lead would easily annoy me. This one didn't. Louie was adorable and very puppy-like, he was extremely kind and loyal. Sure, he was childish and had no clue how to value money, but that's to be expected considering how sheltered and babied he was growing up. He was never made to do anything himself and he wasn't allowed to really go anywhere because his grandmother was worried he would somehow hurt himself or die - so she isolated him in a mansion in France with a lot of maids and his butler. And that's how he lived most of his life. So he goes from the life of having limitless money and help to losing his memory and belongings and waking up on the streets by himself. Anyway, I loved the whole story really, there was barely a moment I didn't enjoy and I rarely skipped. Obviously it's not the most unique, mind blowing drama but it's still unique in how it was executed and the quality. I loved the characters and was very attached to their stories.
Acting/Cast: Love the cast for this! Especially Seo In Guk (Louie), this role was really perfect for him because he even looks like an adorable puppy. I think all the actors did great and I adored the chemistry between the leads. They were so fluffy and cute and I loved their kisses too. Plus they appeared really natural with each other, which I think is important. Nothing worse than sensing awkwardness/stiffness between the lead actors during romance scenes.
Music: I don't have an actual rating for this because I believe the version of this drama I watched on Viki didn't have the original soundtrack (maybe due to copyright reasons idk) because the lyrics that would display at the bottom of the screen were completely different to what I was hearing. Even so, the replaced music was fitting enough which is good.
Rewatch Value: I make sure to say this in ever review - I rarely rewatch dramas. I only rewatch ones I've absolutely loved/would be worth a rewatch and therefore, I rarely give this section a 10/10. But, I would 100% rewatch SKL in the future. Seo In Guk was just too cute in this.

Interesting plot with a mindless story
The plot interested me, but the story itself seemed kinda mindless. However I really like Seo In Guk, so I was bound to check this out. But as I got further into this I kinda lost interest. I stopped around episode 7. I just never bought Louie's amnesia. oftentimes amnesia or forgetfulness is used in dramas when the writers are too lazy to write a real story. And even if it was believable, the main event of a drama is supposed to bring out change in the main character but I didn't really see any development with him. I've read other reviews that say Louie stays the spoiled undisciplined brat he does even after he gets his memory back, so for me that was a sign to drop this. I like the idea of this drama, I just could never really get on board. I really did try to like this one though. Overall 6.5/10.Was this review helpful to you?

Tears are coming out because of how sweet this drama is. Lovable.
It has very good humor and white hearted characters that you love more and more by each episode, and it doesn’t get boring.
I didn’t learn to like it at first but once I opened my mind to simplicity I was able to embrace it.
Seo In Guk’s acting and expressions are impressive as usual. There is no super-bad villain.
It is a calm healing sweet drama

Kdrama cliches done right
I put this drama off for so long assuming it'd be another overrated snooze fest. I finally watched it and am so glad to be proved wrong! The story is definitely not perfect. You have amnesia and chaebols and bribery and rich guy/poor girl tropes, but it's still surprisingly refreshing. The "rich guy" is goofy and cute, and not some rude, aloof character. The poor girl is smart and resourceful, not necessarily always in need of a savior. The chaebol family is refreshingly mostly kind to each other. Even the villain isn't constantly seeking to end someone's life. The "other girl" character is of course rude, but not overly so where it just gets annoying. It was definitely nice to see them not so focused on revenge after all the revenge dramas that have come out this past year (2023/24). It was just a very cute and endearing drama and the story never slowed down or became boring. The music is not all original but oh wow, they picked great songs. Lots of classics. Definitely one of my new favorites. The only think I disliked was the second ML. He was okay, but just seemed so old. Kinda creeped me out. He seemed more like a big brother not a love interest. Didn't bother me too much ultimately though.

Nevertheless some of the things i liked about the drama were
- the cute relationship between louis and his grandma
- how louis' character remains his true sweet self equally in times of poverty and prosperity
- the dynamics between mr kim and ms choi
- baek Mari's funny blunders
And some of the things i didn't like about the drama were
- fillers ..... oh so many fillers
- the fact that ko bok shil suddenly gets better complexion, etc in the later episodes ( soo unlike weightlifting fairy :( .... why cant the main character remain dark skinned and still get the handsome prince ?? )

*likable cast of characters (them ajummas)
*hilarious comedy
*great song choices (Monster X, GFriend)
*mostly good pacing
*very lighthearted (finally!)
*rich son that's not a douche (bless)
*not many flaws in plot
Overall one of the better dramas out there, would totes recommend

fluffy... the good way
I'm totally in love with both the ML and FL and also with the rest of the cast! Such a nice relaxing sunny journey - though tropes are there, but who cares? A lesson abt love and humanity... all done right. Visuals are flawless, nice landscapes, nice cityscapes, nice rooftop - yes, the famous South Korean rooftop is present here too.Acting is also flawless, cant think of anything better. The action and delivery have a lot of flesh to them, obviously this is an exquisite production.
If i were to find any flaw, it's this obsession of Korean dramas for achieving perfection. Everything is so rounded, everything falls into place - far from real life by a million light-years.
And also... why is everyone an orphan?? Both the ML and the FL are orphans raised by a kind granny who dies by the end of the series. So, at 25, they are the oldest in the family line. Seriously??
I would certainly rewatch anytime.

Nam JiHyun shiii and Seo In Guk CHEMISTRYYYYYYYYYY!!!!
I know I was 8 years late to make a review with this light drama romcom. I like how Nam Jihyun and seo in Guk execute their characters as Bok Shil and Ji Sung (Louis). Honestly I watched so many dramas of jihyun after watching suspicious partner and I am so surprise that she has chemistry with all her male leads. For this drama my opinion is that the second lead is way older for jihyun and I must say that the detective can suits as the second lead because his soooo handsome also hahahaha. No Second lead syndrome for me. I like also the OST of this drama, the other supporting actors and actresses. Overall, this is 10/10 drama for me and definitely rewatch again. Kudos for Jihyunshi and Seo In guk!!!!!!!Was this review helpful to you?
Story
The story was great- up until around episode ten. Then from that point on things start to go downhill. By episode ten they've pretty much covered the main story line and after that they had to bring out all of the K-Drama BS like going to another country/going away, break up for no reason, stupid second-lead, getting into trouble out of nowhere, etc. It would have been perfect if they ended the drama earlier.
Overall though, I liked the plot. It was simple and effective. Rich guy loses his memory. Country hick finds him. They survive in Seoul together. There were many sweet moments because of this setup.
Acting/Cast
The acting was great. Usually the female lead doesn't interest me that much but this one, Go Bok Sil, was great. She never really did any K-Drama female lead BS until the end, and even then it was kind of understandable. She was overall one of the better female leads I've seen.
Louie was great. He really seemed innocent and sincere the entire time, and his smile, well, both of the leads' smiles, warmed my heart. Again, the lead was different than usual. He was not a jerk at all and he was outright funny a lot of the time.
Hated the second lead. I like his actor but his role was pointless. He never had a chance and he knew it (he never even confessed his feelings). He took up precious screen time that could have been filled by the leads.
Music
I only really like two or three songs from the OST, but the drama also had a lot of English songs that I liked that were sometimes the titles of episodes. Some of the song choices, in particular two that I won't mention, were absolutely hilarious. I haven't laughed so hard at a K-Drama in a while. All I can say is that the execution was perfect.
Overall
Watch this drama! Even though I say it is only good until episode ten, that is a fair amount of good episodes for a K-Drama. Also, you can just skip through the bad parts in the last six episodes to get to the good parts like I did if you really don't want to sit through them. This drama will make you smile and it is a pleasant surprise. It didn't feel cheesy at all.
