Satoshi is in the 3rd year of high school. He and transfer student Rin are busy forming a band to perform at the school cultural festival even though they are banned. "Second summer never see you again" was not a movie with a plot that you have never watched before. However, it had nice music.The movie starts with pretty much spoiling the whole plot, as the main lead is revealed to be dying and she leaves the male lead with an apology. He is heartbroken and somehow goes back in time to relive their summer and "make things right". So, the whole point of the movie is for him to not fall in love with her. Even though he was already in love with her... Or, at least, not to have her know about his feelings.
Other than that, the forming of the band was nice. Plus, the girl had a beautiful voice.
So, overall, six out of ten.
