Knowing Jing Ping's unfettered nature and all he has done for the Liang Empire, Ting Sheng absolves him of the responsibility of continuing the military burdens of the Chang Lin name. As punishment, the emperor declares Ping Jing leave the capital during the mourning period and the removal of the Chang Lin establishment.
