After watching this version , I have to say it became my favorite out of other versions ~ other viewers may or may not feel the same ..There were some changes in the drama's storyline which made it more interesting , I think they didn't want the viewers to feel they were watching the same drama as the other two but it has a combination of both the Taiwanese and Korean version while having its own unique storyline .
What I loved the most about the Thai version was the Male Lead Character they made him more likable and much nicer than other versions , not as mean as in the K-Drama and more admirable with him being in touch with his love for the Female Lead than in the T- Drama .
About the Female Lead Character I think she was more weaker than other version but I did not hate that & I liked how she turned out in the end , the girl finally got the guts xD
Unlike the other versions , I enjoyed this more even if there were some frustrating parts in the drama but still I have watched all the episodes without skipping any because it was less dramatic , much sweeter & more logical in comparison .
I did skip episodes form other versions cause in case of T-Drama was too draggy and the story was all over & K-Drama started well but at the end became boring to me , but as I said everyone will have his own opinion in which version they will like the best .
And the ending was great I liked that they made it intimate ...
I feel if I keep writing I'll spoil the drama there's a lot of things I want to write about the things that I liked , but it will consider a spoiler :s
Anyway ... It is very clear that I enjoyed this one & I think everyone will do too ~

Honestly, this is one of my new favorite dramas. The acting, direcing, writing, sets, costumes-- all stunning. We finally got a few REAL kiss scenes from Bie (who's a great kisser) and Esther (who's a good kisser compared to just about every other Thai actress).
STORY: Amazing. The storytelling was consistent, thoughtful, and heartfelt. I usually find melodramas cheesy (let's face it, You're My Destiny is a melodrama), but this one was able to make me laugh and cry without overdoing anything. I especially loved the character development in the last four episodes; it's obvious that both Wanida and Pawut changed, but they were still fundamentally the same people. The family values were sweet, and Taya was totally hot (poor second lead...). And no NANG RAI!!!! Thank goodness, everyone in this drama were logical, NORMAL people and not crazy psychopaths!
The story was a little out-there, but that's the point of You're My Destiny; Pawut and Wanida were brought together by fate.
The only complaint I have was with the ending. Sure, everything was satisfactorily wrapped up, aside from the aunt and her son (I'm not really even sure why they were in the drama... even the other characters seemed to forget about them), but the way it was wrapped up felt very abrupt. They should have split some of the wrap-ups between the last two episodes instead of spending three episodes being completely unproductive story-wise.
ACTING/CAST: I mean, Bie's cute, but I honestly think Esther and Taya were the standouts in this drama. Esther often plays the innocent pushover role, but when she transformed into the later Wanida who wasn't a pushover and who was willing to fight for her man, that's when her acting really shone. Taya was adorable and hot for one, but he also did a very good job of portraying his one-sided love for Wanida. You could tell he had feelings for her just by the way he looked at Nid. And his abs...
MUSIC: Lots of variety to this soundtrack, great OST by Bie. I especially loved the "Smile" song that Bie sang in English... that one made me bawl my eyes out when they played it at the end of episode 13, which is a first for me.
REWATCH VALUE: I would definitely rewatch this one, in spite of the slightly disappointing ending. The acting, directing, and story are just too good to limit to one watch.
I HIGHLY recommend this drama for anyone who enjoys beautiful dramas that avoid the Thai drama stereotypes, and loves heartwarming stories with happy endings.

This version has the best storyline. It was logical, with no frills and little dumb moments. The 17 episodes did not feel lengthy at all even though I watched both the Taiwan and Korean versions before! The producers took all the highlights of the previous versions and made it even better by finding the perfect balance between both. Also, they added some background story highlight is 'destiny' part which I felt was a good point. The characters were also sweeter here! Pawut was portrayed softer than the other versions and much less a jerk. HE KNOWS WHAT HE WANTS AND DOES NOT FEAR SHOWING IT. Wanida was also portrayed better/more likable in this version. She is clumsy and soft, yet not dumb nor naive.
Acting wise, I think the Taiwan version stands out but the thais are close. You could feel the chemistry oozing out of your computer screen when watching the drama. Pawut and Wanida showed their love in every small moment with the looks on their faces! They did well with the emotional scenes as well, which made me cry buckets. The rest of the characters also portrayed their roles really well. The second leads were so caring and sweet which made them a dear to watch.
I was too into the show to pay much attention to the music. But I liked the opening and end! Those within the drama was good, not distracting and fits the mood.
I WILL DEFINITELY REWATCH THIS. I think this plot is cute and will sweeten anyone's day. It has the perfect recipe with just the right amount of twists and sweetness that makes you hooked to know whats coming next! (And even if you watched the other versions, you will still be excited to know whats going to happen!)
Strongly recommend everyone to give this show a try! I honestly like it the most of all the versions. It is like the Taiwan and Korean version had a perfect little baby.

You're My Destiny comparison to Taiwanese and Korean Versions
All three versions were enjoyable. The original was the 2008 Taiwanese story listed as” You’re My Destiny” but I found the Eng. sub version under “Fated to Love You”. The Second repeat was the Korean drama in 2014 titled ”Fated to Love You”. Lastly, the Thai version called “You’re my Destiny”.Far too often in many of these dramas, scriptwriters seem to think more is better. It really isn’t. A well-crafted drama will carry the story without having to include multiple romances and numerous disasters. I know they want to put everything in the story to bring a wide and varying audience but like soup, if you add too many ingredients it becomes inedible.
Of the three, I found the Thai version to be the best. The story is much more realistic and flows naturally. You can see even from the beginning the Male leads internal conflict. He senses a connection to the FL but tries to logically push it away due to his constant love for his girlfriend who is off chasing her dream. His love slowly dwindles each time SF breaks her promises and he begins to love the FL because of her caring loving nature.
The first physical connection between the two main characters is probably the highlight of the original Taiwanese version. You can actually feel that sexual tension whereas the other two versions do the normal see them head under sheets wake up the next morning.
The 2014 Korean version I believe has the best acting although the ML can sometimes take his querpy persona a bit too far. I love Ester Supreelee and Bie Sukrit Wiserkaew in this Thai drama. The roles were almost picked for them. Ester has the insecure shy Nid down to a T and Bie plays his hard working business persona yet caring gentleman the best of the three actors.
The secondary actors are good as well but their story line varies from version to version. Their connection to the leads also differs due to the scripts intention. In the Thai version, I found the girlfriend to be more realistic in loving him but her focus was on dancing. Dancing is very rough physically on the body. The time a dancer can actually reach their peak is short so I can see this being believable. In all three versions, she is self-focused but more so in the Taiwanese drama to the point she will actually do something immoral to try to keep the ML.
The Secondary male lead on the other hand is selfless and giving. So many times I wanted to scream, “forget the lead and go for this guy! “ He is gorgeous and sweet…will do anything for the FL yet that spark just never flares to life. The Taiwanese SM is the most stern and is more like her teacher than a lover. The Korean SM is probably my favorite. The actor makes you really feel how much he loves her yet just wants her happiness.
China is making a new version. If I were to give my advice, it would be to keep that original oops love scene!! Do not throw so much into the story. Having more episodes is not a recipe for success. Stick to that which makes your viewers really feel a connection. Make the Lead strong enough to know when he is no longer in love with his girlfriend and move on not let it linger.
Highlights: Taiwanese: Opening love scene; ending scene. Could keep bad checkup results that seemed a different twist that was original yet touching. Please, do not add that grandma has a kid or the guys winding up in bed together…sigh. Everyone in your story having a partner is not necessary. Keep the story real unless you choose to make it a total comedy.
Korean: Acting is a highlight. Male lead strange behavior was a bit over the top but the story line behind the father leaving and the so-called second son…awesome. More background of the male lead made the story richer. While the ML takes longer to warm up to the female lead you understand because his love for his girlfriend has been since they were teens thus the deeper connection. This version hurts at certain points to the point of crying or screaming in frustration so get ready for a roller coaster ride but the ending is fantastic. I wish the Thai version had ended like this one.
Thai : Acting was great, story was believable . It was shorter than the other two but I felt great after watching it. There were painful moments but not to the point of that gut wrenching sadness. The main part I would change would be to skip the return to that fate childhood moment and add a moment with a child they had from their wedding night.
Music: Overall the Korean Fated to Love You Ost is by far the best. Fantastic songs that are haunting and beautiful. The Taiwan series has that comic style background music most of the time. The Thai version has Bie singing of course and is pretty good.
If you haven’t tried the Thai version give it a try…it is definitely worth it!!
Thanks for reading!! ☺

Good Remake of FTLY
This is the only remake of Fated to Love You that I can rewatch. They even change a bit of the story and it was good too.Story: more episodes than the original, was a bit longer but this Thai remake has it own twist in it and it was delightful, happy, funny and beautiful to watch.
Acting: At first I preferred an other actor and actress to do it, but I gradually enjoy the chemistry between the actors that played the leads. They even become one of my favorite onscreen couple in the Thai entertainment.
Both of them played there character very well. Mint played a very beautiful, caring, less confident lady and Bie played a gentleman with a bit of flaws. Really good and professional acting like it!!
Music: wasn’t my favorite but because of the story and chemistry of the leads I and up finishing the drama.

I like the original version better as it was a classic. The Thai version took the best of the two with shorter faster pacing and less dragging with side story.
One thing to like is the music of the show that make the show feel warmer. The main actor took over all of the music in the show and he sung it well. Though sounds a bit commercial compare to his other music but it is that sort of music that click well with the series.
Overall, it is a well constructed drama. I gave it a 7.

Characters:
Honestly I both love the main characters especially Prikkang (Esther). Sorry I am not fond of using the character's real name because I totally suck with names. I call her Prikkang because of the series U Prince : The Handsome Cowboy where she played as the main female character. In this series her acting was quite remarkable, I like it. The main male character also did well I just don't like the way he laugh. Sorry. :-)
Story/Plot:
As what I have said, I haven't watched the series Fated To Love You do I cannot say if the plot were the same. But obviously I love how the story went and how it ended. I don't usually like watching series or movies which does not give me a good impression after reading the synopsis or watching the trailer. So since I've decided to watched the series, meaning the plot was impressive.
Music/Cinematography:
This is not the first Thai Series that I've watched so I am quite familiar of some traditions, culture, foods and cuisine. This series showed some aspects which were purely Thai. I am not a fan of Thai music but I do appreciate them though.
Over-all this series was wonderfully done. Since this was a romantic-comedy kind of series any errors or mistakes were very much forgivable. This was my honest review so if you would ask me is I would recommend it for you to watch my answer is yes. I highly recommend it for you to watch. This series is worth watching for. :-)

This Thai Version Is Really Good
I chanced upon this drama whilst looking around for Tre Porapat who was impressive in the recent 2022, The Love Proposal. I have watched the Korean version of You're My Destiny (Fated To Love You) where the main character was played by the intensive and enigmatic Jang Hyuk. Not sure where the Thai version would have led me. I just completed the drama and I must say, it did not disappoint. Bie Sukrit did a really good job portraying Pawut, which is not an easy character to play. His warm heart, right down to his quirkiness, going from laughter to seriousness and passionate emotions all out there for us to feel and experience. I found this drama gave me the overall comfort and entertainment value that I was looking for.Was this review helpful to you?
So well done. I grinned. I cried. I melted. I skipped nothing.
Such a wonderful show!
I watched other variations of this show and this one is definitely my favorite. I loved all the characters, acting was wonderful, and all around easily one of my favorite Thai shows. This one has brownie points for being re-watchable as well. If you've been on the fence, get off it and dive into this one. You won't be sorry. I really appreciated the subtle tweaks in this show compared to the other variations as well. The characters (imho) weren't quite so over the top as the Korean version.

I wasn’t expecting much because I’ve seen remakes before and some were disheartening that I didn’t want to have high hopes. I watched this one going in knowing there were two dramas already made so I should see similarities. There were many similarities but this Thai drama did the name justice. At episode 5 I was hooked .. the FL can cry a River. The ML and FL matched very well and their emotions I can’t even describe how they reel you in. The Whole cast was amazing. The Show didn’t drag at all in fact like someone said they took the best of both dramas and condensed it and made it 10x better. The storyline and the art was still top notch . You didn’t want to hate anyone except the aunt.. when you see someone wearing red lipstick .. it’s not a good thing I guess.
Overall the show didn’t drag .. I knew what was coming but I didn’t know what was coming.
They separated the baby’s death so you didn’t cry for hours on one sitting .. you end up crying in three different sittings.. The emotions you felt broke your heart but they let you breath until they break it again.. I don’t remember if my eyes were dry after episode 12 ..
I enjoyed this remake a lot and recommend a rewatch.

Having watched the original Taiwan version years ago, I was excited when I learnt that this show was a Thai remake of the same drama. From my personal perspective, both dramas have their own unique points which is why I love them in different ways. For this drama, it essentially retains the "skeleton" of the plot, however, I found that it was much more mature and less comedic as compared to the Taiwan version. This definitely made the whole plot much more believable and realistic. Towards the end of the drama, I also cried a lot because it was very touching to me. If you have enjoyed the Taiwan version, I would recommend this, it is nostalgically similar yet refreshingly different.Production/Story:
I was surprised by how realistic the plot was, it wasn't as exaggerated as the original version. I could imagine the scenes happening in real life. I liked the styling of the different characters and felt that P'Esther really suited her character. I also appreciated how the male lead's grandmother was supportive and how his ex-girlfriend did not do despicable things to get him back. The only things that I felt was a bit meh was how the male lead was only realised to be misdiagnosed in the last episode. I feel that a doctor would normally have done thorough checks to ensure that they were diagnosing their patients properly, especially when the diagnosis was such a serious disease. The development of the female and male lead's relationship from awkwardly together to true romance was also too sudden - I felt a bit like "Huh? what just happened?". Nonetheless, I feel that the story gets better as it progresses, it feels very slow-paced at the start but the pace picks up later on.
Acting:
Everyone's acting was mostly on-point. I loved the different characters, they were relatable. The only time when I felt that the acting fell short was when the female lead's mother did not seem to be emotional when she knew the male lead was diagnosed with ALS. This is considering how the fact that the female lead's mother treated the male lead as her own son was emphasised throughout the show. So it was a bit strange for me, but not a big deal since it's just one scene.
Music:
The songs are quite nice, they actually grew on me. I liked the ending song more at first, but grew to like the opening song too.
Rewatch Value:
I believe I would rewatch this (considering I rewatched the Taiwan version thrice), but I would probably skip the first episode because nothing much happened haha.
