Throughout the drama, Pawut's laugh grew on me. When he first laughed, it was weird LOL
I really like the way his character was written in this version, I was more natural on how he fell in love with Nid. His character was a huge jerk and as cold.
Nid's character was also alot better in this version.
If I were to pick one version to recommend to someone, I would recommend the Thai version of this drama. The story is alot better, characters are portrayed well and the storyline is better written.

Light hearted watchable version
I haven't watched the Taiwan and Korean versions and I probably wouldn't but I have watched the Chinese version. I must say the Thai version was a more light hearted version, the Chinese version was much more angsty. I enjoyed both versions and I liked that there were some differences in the story so it didn't feel like I was watching the exact same story. Random comment... Found the male lead's laugh very weird ? and call me shallow but I wish he was just a bit taller.I was pleasantly surprised by
1. Prawut was far less "douchebaggy"? than the Chinese ML or even compared to most MLs in the lakorns I have watched so far. In fact, I felt sorry for him suffering during period of estrangement with the FL (the ML in Chinese version totally deserved it ?).... though I realise the time was important for character growth of the FL.
2. No horrible, deranged and obsessed second FL (a first for lakorns, at least those that I have watched)
3. Handsome very likable SML.
4. Light hearted, just right number of episodes that I don't feel guilty about "wasting" my life watching dramas ?
What I felt could have been better?
1. I wish there were more interactions/ scenes together) between the leads showing them falling in love... It was a bit difficult to believe when the ML went from "Kae is my love" to "I love Nid very much". for that matter, even the FL's feelings weren't that clear to me... That she "loved" the ML. I felt her attitude was that of a usual Asian ( don't come at me ?, I am Asian myself) girl forced by circumstances, trying to make the best of a situation, ready to work at making her marriage a success even if she wasn't in love with the guy and disappointed when he clearly didn't think the same way ?
2. The ending was a bit abrupt. Would have been nice to have scenes after they got back together.
Final verdict: nice, totally watchable... One might be more appreciative of this version of one has watched the Chinese version.

I enjoyed this one, it's very well written, it has no uncessarry angst or comedy, it's just right. The story is good, of course this is a remake of a Taiwanese drama which also has a Korean remake. In my opinion this version has the most concise story and picks the best aspects of the previous two dramas. For example I found the Taiwanese version too long winded with a tad too much slapstick comedy, it also has low production value. The Korean version has two amazing leads, the most wonderful OST ( which I still listen to to this day) and is a real tear jerker.
However, I found the Thai one avoids most of the negative aspects of the other two and is tightly scripted and acted, the two leads are amazing together and I enjoyed their interactions, their relationship comes across as very true to life and is not stylised ( something I struggle with in many Kdramas)
Production value is high and I really appreciate the way the lead actress is not dowdily styled, she is very chic and still manages to portray her character well both before and after the break up.
The music is a bit of a let down, but in my opinion it doesn't take anything away from the story.
I marathoned this drama and enjoyed it immensely.
Overall 9.

Now if I were to compare this to all the other versions available to for you to see then I would say this one is okay but not my favorite. This is most like the Korean version as far as the storyline goes. As with them all there are slight variations in this compared to the others. What I preferred the most with this version is that the female lead was more realistic and likeable. She is soft, a people pleaser, and a push over but in a much more believable way that makes her character feel more fleshed out and not just dumb like some of the other versions have portrayed her as. The male lead is also softer and gentler in this version and his expressions begin showing his emotions much earlier though he is again most like the Korean version of this character. I also really like that he figures out what he wants pretty quickly and sticks firm to it. What I did not like about this version compared to others is that their attraction to each other was almost to quick. There was not enough moments between them to make you truly understand why either is so crazy about the other but thats a small gripe and pretty easy to get over.
If I had to rate this story and say which one I prefer the most it is probably the most recent Chinese version. So if you were going to watch only one I'd probably recommend that one. This one and the Korean version feel about the same as far as enjoyment to me though I do like the main leads in this one more as he is not as eccentric and she is not as boring as the Korean version of their characters. The Japanese version was the worst purely because it was cut short so you don't get the full story. I did like the original Taiwanese version but the end felt too dragged out.

I never really liked the Taiwanese version of this drama (and I only briefly watched the Korean version) but Thailand has proven to me that they can do remakes well and most times better than their original counterparts. With that in mind, I gave this a go and here are my thoughts:Likes
-A cohesive and engaging story with no filler and a nice balance between the serious and the silly aspects; it's a more mature re-telling of the original, which I really liked
-ML (Phawut) is one of the best MLs with how kind, compassionate and silly he was. Loved how he cleanly cut off his ex he realized he was in love with the FL (Wanida). One of the rare ones where who takes responsibility for what he does and truly has the FL's best interests at heart
-Esther gets flak for playing the same type of innocent, kind girl that gets taken advantage of, but you gotta admit she plays it well. She was a doormat but I never felt annoyed and rooted for her to break out of her shell
-Secondary cast was great; the grandma was more serious than I expected, but I actually liked that a lot. She knew when to get involved and when she should leave things be, and respected the ML's wishes even if it broke her heart. She also looked out for the FL and had her corner when ML was being mean. Loved the secretary and Wanida's mom as well
-I really liked Tre as Taya here (side note; anyone else get thrown off by his character name? If you've watched Prissana 2000 then you know it's the real name of the main actress. I found that so weird) and I found him more charming here than in Wayla Kammathep. What charmed me was how he liked the FL but never pushed her boundaries and respected that she was with the ML instead of trying to steal her away. Plus his search for his sister was really nice (also I'm hoping him and Esther get to do a lakorn together because their chemistry is pretty good)
-The use of Phawut's illness to push Wanida away didn't turn me off; usually I dislike these plots because of noble idiocy and it's been done before. But here it made sense; if she knew early on and stayed, she would've never got the chance to study abroad and develop as an individual. It was better that she saw the world first before staying to take care of him. I actually cried quite a bit at the angsty scenes regarding his illness, and felt invested in this storyline; so overall, this was a "male lead has a 'terminal' illness" done right
Dislikes
-the story lost some steam for me near the end, since it was easy to predict how things would turn out
-I wish there was more romance between the leads; there was a lot of romantic scenes in the beginning, but the true romance where it was just the two of them (no ex, no obstacles or misunderstandings) was short-lived before he found out he was sick. Then it went all angsty and self-sacrificing which I enjoyed, but made the leads separate up until the very end. It felt a little unsatisfying
-Although I really like the ML, I think him not telling 2nd FL (his gf at the time) that he was married and got someone pregnant was shady af
Overall
It wasn't an addicting watch, but it was certainly enjoyable and well produced. It stayed faithful to the original story while adding its own Thai flair and twists that fit in the plot. Thailand strikes it again as being able to do great remakes of classic dramas. If you were a fan of the original story, I would recommend giving this a go.

The first thing that I’d like to say is that with Thai productions, I go into them partly knowing they might be lacking in acting or be overly dramatic and too much. This was a pleasant surprise.
The main leads:
I love the story, so I’ve watched multiple versions of it. In this version I really loved the natural gentle and kind nature of the FL. I feel like the actress might have a similar energy to her, it didn’t feel like she was acting most of the time! Good on her!! In some versions, she comes off pitiful. In his one, she comes off very kind hearted and giving, but not stupid.
As for the ML he was good as an actor. I feel like his energy at times had an edge to it, that didn’t really suite the character but overall, it was good and they were a good match.
The relationship between the leads:
Throughout most of the versions, this one felt like the most… “makes sense” connection? The ML, it was clear once they started living together, he developed a soft spot for her after a while. I’d say, a sort of crush for her. He was charmed, would be a better description maybe. He was definitely tempted where she was clueless about it. It’s not explicitly shown but when he has these moments, it’s becoming clear.
As for his first love, I feel like in this drama there wasn’t really too much of competition. I feel like he knew whom he wanted by the time she came about. In other versions, this was dragged a bit. Wasn’t as clear and some times it felt like he was doing it out of duty.
On the downside, some overdramatic moments came about, but it’s wasn’t too mad.
I’ve watched this a while ago, so I hope I recall of this correctly, but it definitely felt like a good drama to watch. It’s worthwhile.

Sponsored by Royal Caribbean Mariner of the Seas... "Enjoy."
I never managed to get through 1st episode of 'Fated To Love You', and that had my then most favorite taiwanese actress in there. So, I never tried any of the remakes, as I guessed this is just not my kind of story. Until... This one. Now with even more stupid name 'You're My Destiny', shall it share the same fate (dropped in 1st episode)? I never liked Bie Sukrit or Esther Supreeleela... And... I didn't like the 1st episode of this. But, it was like the music was enjoying itself way more than I was, it was roaring so much! Perhaps the somewhat bizarre experience made me open even episode 2, this time...And, it starts right away. The music! It's so grand you expect a story of an epic calibre. What does actually happen? One girl gets into wrong room when under influence. But! Before that (for 1 episode and a half, we still wait for it) she like trips and drops her glasses and stuff. The epic music of course highlights everything "accordingly". LOLz. Anyways, the sex is portrayed by huge detail on real kissing. Which is something you never see in thai production, so you could say they outdid themselves BUT it is not a kiss scene, it's a sex scene:)
He then parades her around the luxurious ship (looks like it all was made as a promotional video for the cruise, by the way) and dresses her up like a doll and tries to boost her confidence but somehow I couldn't care less. The synopsis says she got pregnant that night. I realized I didn't care whether he's going to marry her or plain tell her to get lost. Even if their story thus ended immediatelly, it would be the same to ME. And therefore... while the music kept raging on... I resolved I can wrap this up early.
