Messy
The biggest reason I liked the second season less might just be because Han Yu, MY FAVORITE CHARACTER, has so little screentime. I also wasn't a huge fan of Jiang Chen Chuan, and the fact that he seemed to replace Han Yu as second lead seemed unnecessary and made for the purpose of one of the plot twists.Overall, the plot had some really messy parts, and this season felt like it tried to squeeze in too many cliches. I'm normally okay with cliches—and I even enjoy them, but even too much of them annoys me.

A good sequel!
Well, the sequel has much more emotions added to it.Everything winds up perfectly.Though there are some villainous moments added to it,it's still watchable.
This is the first time I have watched Li Hongyi in a modern drama. He fits the role of Han Qi lu,a rich guy.
Xing Fei was good in her role as usual.
Overall, summing up the 2 seasons,Master Devil Do not Kiss me is an easily watchable drama without any hesitation.

You should watch this one (NO! )
You would recommend this to others. (No!)
You could watch this again. (No!)
The second season was as boring as the first. The lead character can not make up his mind and that tends to infuriate the viewer. There is no finesse in the episodes. The ending leaves you with a sense of irritation with its abruptness. The lead actress is wasted again. The supporting cast is again the redeeming factor here too.
I wouldn't recommend it personally.

Dissapointed
season 2 is a direct continuation of season 1. Season one was a bit more interesting and fun to watch compared to season 2 which is so serious and frustrating. I really got frustrated because of the fact that Chuxia and Qilu 's relationship actually doesn't make much progress. The love rivals are just too annoying and the ending was so dissapointing. Also, the other guy that really loved chuxia and wanted to be with her turned out to be her cousin? WTF??? I was hoping that maybe the ending can make me feel better . But again, so bad. he just hugs her and says "I like you". That's it! All the effort you took in tolerating the annoying plot and characters was just for this kind of ending? Seriously?? I just wanted to throw my phone away. Was this review helpful to you?
Familiar plots, but OK as light entertainment
***Review is for both seasons.***Familiar plots and subplots, but an overall ok watch as light entertainment. You know: The kind you can just watch without thinking much, or maybe not even giving it your full attention.
The story feels a bit like it was "inspired by" Boys over flowers/Meteor Garden.
Some scenes and edits could’ve been better.
Apart from the extreme fake crying the acting was also OK. The chemistry between ML and FL was at times a bit lacking though.

A very, very slow burn romance
This is a light and fluffy romance drama that really doesn't have much, if any, actual romance. It's mostly about friendship, and I loved the friendship in this drama. The two main leads both have three potential love interests including each other. I kinda loved that they both had the same number of potential love interests. The ML annoyed me a lot in this drama because he kept going back and forth between his ex and the FL. I also loved that the FL didn't immediately start liking him, she very slowly started to grow feelings for the ML. The ML by this season had already started to have feelings for the FL but didn't make this obvious.
I loved that the romance didn't really start until all the unrequited love of the other potential love interests was resolved in some way.
This show needs a third season with the same cast. I loved the cast of this drama, especially the leads, they had really good chemistry. The FL had chemistry with litterally everyone including her teacher and cousin, which was hillarious.
I still can't believe how little romance we got in this drama. I watched 2 seasons of this drama (in less then 2 days) only to get that!

Watch the first, skip the second season
The second season was just blah. I kept waiting for some big leap in character development and something exciting to happen in the plot, but nothing ever really happened to the extent that it should. The plot basically developed new side characters and made things complicated because the two leads just could not have a logical adult discussion human to human. The ending was abrupt and left me going “that’s it?!” I wanted to see them develop their relationship together after the first drama, since I liked that one a lot -the first one reminded me of a cross of Boys over flowers and playful kiss.
Save your time and rewatch the first season if you want to see something that’s cute and has decent plot.
