Ok that's ridiculous. Surely they would…

Ok that's ridiculous. Surely they would know from his vitals and/or brain wave readings that he had regained consciousness. They're not idiots after all, and they're dying for him to wake back up. Plus, why would he trust Ye Na over Young Hoon? Sure, he might not feel comfortable trusting David or his mom, but Ye Na could be acting just as much as Young Hoon could be.

But honestly, I don't hate Ye Na or even resent her. She did what she felt she had to do, and she sacrificed everything for the person she loved. At this point, I really do hope she ends up with human Shin, though I question whether she could actually be happy with someone who doesn't love her and only sees her as a younger sister. Granted, we don't know human Shin well enough to know what he really feels and how he'll change yet. But I'd like it if Ye Na and human Shin get together so So Bong can stay with robot Shin, but that seems unlikely based on kdrama tropes. I'm sure my mind will be changed as I continue to watch, but I really don't want So Bong to end up with human Shin, and not just because of what he said to her after her confession. I actually don't even resent him for that since she wasn't confessing to him but to someone else. Though actually, although I don't resent Ye Na, I feel kind of sad for her as a person. For being so alone left only with someone she's completely devoted to but who doesn't reciprocate her feelings, but also for laughing at the people who didn't know human Shin was awake and thinking they were stupid. She's seen enough of them to know how devoted they are to human Shin, yet rather than thinking about their pains and hopes and how happy seeing human Shin awake would make them and how guilty she should feel for keeping that important information from them, she views them as idiots and feels superior to them. I knew she was bratty, but that kind of obsessiveness, selfishness, and lack of empathy is actually disappointing. I thought she was better than that.

I get why human Shin is cold and distant to his mom, and he has every right to be (even though it wasn't her fault they were separated, it's the role of a parent to protect their child, so even if it was beyond her abilities, I can't blame him for being resentful and hurt that he was left alone for so long), but wasn't he on his way to the Czech Republic in order to reunite with her and live with her? Plus, he's been pretending to be in a coma for a while, so surely he's heard just how dedicated she is to him. Ehh humans are complicated XD
