The "best part" of the trilogy
It’s important to start by mentioning that Together With Me is far better than Bad Romance or Next Chapter. I decided to watch the “trilogy” chronologically, so Together With Me was the first one I watched. This series does have in it’s favor that most of the plots move forward in a good rhythm. The show has also a great set of characters, mixing the best of the other 2 parts. This is the Korn/Knock show, but the side characters have great stories and the acting is good. Single Yiwha is the best part of the show, because her story can focus on being a boss 100% of the time. Fai really shines in this series too. At first I was a bit annoyed by the Phubet/Kavitra romance, bit they grew on me. I was never on board of the Farm/Bright boat, but it was not the worst part of Together With Me.
Unfortunately, the worst part of the series is related to Korn and Knock. Firstly, we have many big inconsistencies about their story before the show, since they’re meant to have known each other from childhood. But the definite major problem is how their story does not evolve. There are 13 episodes of this show and they do dumb stuff in all 13. Everybody knows that Korn and Knock will end up together but this series likes to prove with each episode how stupid this characters are. The shrimp scene is a clear example (it takes 2 seconds to say "he's allergic"). They don’t talk and never trust each other, so I could not root for them. I mean, to be fair, it’s a Knock problem 90% for the time. Their stupid hook up/fight cycle combined with the devil girlfriend cliche kinda ruined the show overall for me.

This was very frustrating to watch but I enjoyed it! #maxtul forever <3
First, let me tell you that I absolutely love #maxtul and this was the main reason why I decided to watch this drama. All the characters did so well since the ones you love, you do love a lot but the annoying and hateful ones, you do hate like A LOT too lol and that can only be achieved when the characters do a great job. With that been said, I am sorry but knock character is SO ANNOYING!! OMG I am extra protective of korn, yes I am, because he is literally so PERFECT, he is charming, considerate, mature, a gentleman like pleaseee he is equally beautiful inside that what he is on the outside and most importantly he loves knock so dearly and no I am not saying knock does not love him equally, I know he does but man he is so immature and childish, and he just makes a tantrum when he does not get his way, and that immaturity makes him commit so many mistakes that always end up hurting korn plus a lot of times he takes for granted everything that korn does for him, I just hate that! (Yes I know, I am very protective of korn, and he deserves it) I literally wanted to slap knock most of the time during this drama so yes if you love Max and Tul like I do you will love their connection and adoration towards each other, their chemistry and bond is beyond this world but brace yourselves with Knock because he is very infuriating and frustrating character UGH! For this reason I wouldn't rewatch the drama, I can't go through all of this once more LOLWas this review helpful to you?
Idk man
I think I’m allergic to shows those 2 have acted in before because this is the second show I drop that has Max and Tul at very early stages, it’s not the way they act or anything, in the contrary they’re both amazing actors but these shows especially this one is not my cup of tea. I couldn’t even finish episode 1, I made it to 31 min or so and I already knew the story was gonna be basic and boring and reading more reviews and having watched some clips on TikTok it gave me all the info I needed to reassure myself that this just wasn’t worth continuing and to drop it. The fact it has a second chapter with like 13 episodes is a huge reason why I also considered dropping too, I’ve mentioned before in past reviews that I don’t like lengthy shows and I seriously cannot imagine what else they’re going to be doing or dealing with in the second chapter. Normally a show with 12 episodes is more than enough to give us all the information needed to be satisfied but having a second chapter is just insane. Plus 13 episodes each 50 min. Uh no thank you I’ll be dropping this show just like how I dropped Manner Of Death. One thing I will give props to is the person subbing it, they made those 31 minutes a little bit better by putting their own commentary at times and also educating us about different things being mentioned. But other than that, it was not worth even starting. Was this review helpful to you?

Short but not necessarily sweet thoughts on this. ?
There is no spoilers in this really, but if you don't want to know the "Bad guy" I guess you could say, you may not want to read this. Just a heads up. ??Together with Me
I finished watching this just the other day, I got to say, I really wanted to just jump in there and beat the ever loving crap out of that two face high and mighty bitch! Who in the hell does she think she is? It's like she thought the world revolved around her, so she is the end all be all, sorry to say honey you are nothing but a two face who doesn't deserve what you think you do. Augh! Oh, not only her but Knock the dumb head believed every word she told him, even though he only knew her a month!(Maybe a month in half by some parts) It's not like they were together that much even too!
I felt so bad for Korn!! Though in the end it all worked out for the best!!! ?

How I Feel About This
I wish I started writing down my thoughts from ep 1 but here we go.Don’t come for me, it’s just how I feel.
Ep 7 34 mins. Mew was spewing BS . If you watched it you’d know lol
Ep 8…I think I need to take manipulation lessons from Pleng. Cause what was that?
Ep 9 and I swear these “couples” are begging for scandal. Korn and knock , Bhu and the professor.
Ep 9 30 mins. It’s clear Farm doesn’t love himself. Cause how would you willingly want to stay with a player. Knowing so well he’s just using you for his extra horny days .
Can I just slap pleng through the screen ?
Ep 12 when Bright told Farm I have another surprise for you. I literally said it better not be a threesome and lo and behold it was ??. That guy is mad. He’s just plain mad ??. And did Farm just sit there and take that? What was he thinking? The fuck!!! Did he really go through with that four some?? Smh I’m done with that guy.
Final episode- I just feel like this series was dragged at some point. It’s just full of drama. Main couple just had few moments together.
Pleng was a witch
Knock was confused. Why would you believe your gf over your best friend you’ve know since forever? I guess he didn’t know him well enough.
Farm didn’t love himself enough and ended up turning into what he hated.
Korn at some point annoyed me, cause although he loved knock what they did wasn’t right. Even though knocks girlfriend is a witch lol.
Only character I sincerely loved was Yihwa. I hope I’m that type of friend and would love to have that type of friend too. Though I try to mind my business most of the time ?.
All in all the series was good. Will I watch Bad Romance or TWM s2? I don’t think so
Rewatch value- 4/10. I can’t go through that again.
I don’t mind checking out Ep 9 22:30 minutes tho lol

Mature, Thought-Provoking, Out-of-the-Box Series with One of the Sexiest and Successful BL Pair
Before writing this review, I’ve watched numerous BL series. Together with Me is one of the best BL I’ve ever watched, and my top university-based BL (Bad Buddy is my 2nd fave university BL). Kudos to TV Thunder which produces mature, thought-provoking, out-of-the-box BLs. Together presents the challenges and dangers of gay sex/relationship. This is not shown in rose-colored lenses, this is glaring and painful to the senses. There is much confusion and pain of betrayal. The series tackled cheating and “rape” (in a loose sense of the term). Topics that are absolutely non-forgivable for a lot of us. But life is not black and white, there are so many grey areas. So for viewers who just want to enjoy a feel good movie and satisfy their sweet BL cravings, this may not be their cup of tea. But I am a sucker for happy endings, so after the roller coaster events, this has a happy ending. If there is only one reason why we should watch Together with Me, it’s the Max-Tul pair. These two have the most mature and healthy BL partnership and it shows in this second project that they starred in. Both feed off on each other’s emotions in their heavy scenes and their love-making sizzles. You can just imagine how much trust they place on each other to be able to have this give and take interaction. I sympathized with Korn (Max) for all the sufferings he had to go through because he truly loves his childhood friend. But Knock’s (Tul) character is more complex; his sense-of-self dashed and masculinity challenged by his attraction and slowly falling in love to a most devoted Korn, then harshly pulled to the other end by his “loving” and innocent-of-the-whole-situation girlfriend, Pleng. Others are frustrated with his indecision and hurting Korn, but wouldn’t you have been just as confused and scared as Knock?
Another relationship that was featured and I found gutsy of the production to include in this series is that of Farm and Dr. Bright. This is a warning to lovesick newbies, there are many wolves in sheep’s clothing. Something to keep in mind after watching many happy ending faithful BLs. Dr. Bright’s character, though may seem a bit extreme, is part of reality. And truly, I have a substantial number of gay friends who are not monogamous and are experimental with their sex life. This is life. So young ‘uns newly entering the pool of boy-men-relationships, tread carefully.
The rest of the cast also gave their money’s worth. You will remember all of the friends and how important they are in the couple’s dynamics. Notable are kooky Yiwha, best friend and shoulder to cry on of Korn, and also Plern Pleng, Knock’s beautiful girlfriend who achieved in being the most hated character but who we initially sympathized with. I also understood why she had Knock entwined in her devious little pinky.
High points in the soundtrack because I remember both main tracks used in the series. Half a point subtracted from rewatch value because Together with Me does not give you the easy to watch and fun experience like other BL series. But this does get into mind if you want to take a break from fluff and you want to sink your teeth in something substantial.

Ok
I watched Manner of Death after watching this series and lemme tell you to say that the improvement in the acting department is tremendous is an understatement especially on the part of Max because i felt like he couldn’t act very well in this series as he had exactly one facial expression for every scene in this series, i didn’t even realize they were the same people who acted Together With Me when I was watching Manner of Death, that’s how good, different and significantly improved they were in the later. Now back to the review, the nerve of Knock to be annoyed/furious at Pleng and crying that she kissed another guy is beyond ridiculous especially since he has not only kissed someone else but slept with someone else twice and even has feelings for said someone else.
As for Pleng, I’m sorry her story arc is beyond unbelievable, the extent to which she went is super unrealistic for a relationship that is not even up to 3months. Both Pleng and Knock were acting like it was a super long term relationship that they had and are trying to save it and make work by any means necessary. Puhhhhh-leassssseeee. I think the whole Knock, Pleng and Korn triangle took way to long to resolve and I was just over it. I didn’t like Pleng but I loved her outfits, they were so good but it felt completely out of place with the overall vibe of the series and other cast members outfits.
I liked Yiwha because she was very good to her friends and sussed out Pleng right from the beginning.
I have no problem with teacher/student relationship regardless of the age difference as long as they are both of legal adult age and consenting but there was zero chemistry between Phu and Kavitra, their attempt at romance was just so awkward and made it painful to watch as a viewer.
The acting in this series is not the best IMO but it’s not the worst either, the plot is not realistic also IMO but it’s not unwatchable either too. Overall it’s a decent series just not anything groundbreaking.
PS: the best line from this series is definitely when Korn asked Knock in ep12 “Are You Stupid Because of Love or Just Born Stupid”?
Rewatch value 3/10
Overall 7/10

Was it worth the watch? Barely, but yes.
This was a really hard drama to rate, a lot of things have improved in Thai dramas over the past several years, so I wanted to give this a little bit of leeway and try to take it for what it was, so I'll try and be gentle with my review ?Let's start with the actors, I was honestly really surprised at the quality of acting here, usually you have a lot more side characters that just don't know how to act, but there were several characters that were played really well and carried the show, the whole friend group had pretty good skills overall.
Onto the story-- you have a group of college friends that we follow, going on a journey with them as they fall in love or give into lust. The story is mostly about their relationships and the drama that comes out if jealousy and selfishness, so while spoiling as little as possible, let's get into the couples.
Our main couple, KornKnock (MaxTul)
Holy fucking chemistry. These two blow you away with their intimacy, the way they look at each other, talk to each other, touch each other-- really its the entire reason that this show is so popular. Max is an incredible actor, Tul was a little less so in this, after watching him in Manner of Death, I know he worked hard to get there from this. Maybe it was because he just couldn't quite feel his character though, because Knock was a walking red flag the whole series. I wot go into it so as not to spoil the moments, but he's thetype you wish you could save the ML from because he's so stupid and selfish.
Side couple #1 PhuKavitra the teacher student trope--
I'm personally not into crossing unprofessional lines, it seems like a weird abuse of power and I'm just not a fan, but it wasn't too bad here since it was university. The acting though, these two just did not do it for me, Phu was a cute enough character, but Kavitra, she can't act for shit and it makes you want to skip over their story completely.
Side couple #2 BrightFarm the doctor and patient trope--
Apart from the fact that the doctor hitting on his patient is just ew, holy fucking age gap. They didn't even mention the age gap in the story it was just so obvious and uncomfortable! I had to stop the show at like two scenes where I was legit like ew there's no way, this guy could be his dad, sure enough these actors are TWENTY years apart. Listen, I get that age us just a number, but when you take the inappropriate abuse of authority with the fact that this kid could easily pass for still being in high school, it just felt incredibly gross. Trying to push that aspect off to the side since somehow I don't think it was intentional, their relationship is so red flag all the way through, there's no one rooting for them in the end.
Side note, Yiwha and Fai are both great, they also had good chemistry if they'd been cast as a couple, so I think there was some untapped potential there.
Ultimately, the MaxTul chemistry is what made this show, this level of toxic drama and cliche tropes is high school level bad, but watching this cute little group of friends fight their way through the struggles together was heartwarming in and of itself, so I'll give it some credit. Was it worth the watch? Barely, but yes.

There's nothing really that bad about it
The first time I watched this show was when I was really young. I think I watch a lot of BL dramas when I was super young and let me tell you this show was way better than TharnType on so many levels. I'll point out some things I did and didn't like about this series and believe me there a lot of positives than negatives.STORYLINE: I was really taken back on the very first episode because it got right into a hot scene. A friend like Korn having a massive crush on his BEST friend Knock. I like what happens for them to get drunk and then get whisked away with each other. Very well executed and it gets straight to the point. There are little moments where Korn and Knock have a heart to heart moments but then are ruined by no one other than Knock's crazy girlfriend Plern. Without the crazy girlfriend you can't get any blackmail or character development. The payback towards Plern was pretty much Korn and Knock falling in love with each other. It was also interesting to see Knock had a little bit of a crush on Korn during the whole time but was too afraid to admit it until the near end. Points to Plern blackmailing Korn because Yihwa, Fai, and Farm wouldn't have intervened and helped out. Loved the plot line so much. Wish I saw more of Bright and Farm because their side story is a bit untouched but leads to a new Farm in the second season. And let me tell you Farm knows how to get revenge. Cho and Yihwa was really cute and I like how Yihwa thinks Cho is gay only because she doesn't want to accept her feelings for him.
ACTORS: The chemistry between the two male leads. Max and Tul. They had me fooled the whole time that they were a real couple when in reality they are really good friends. I could never be good friends with someone that I'm kissing and practically having sex scenes with. But that's just me. The chemistry was there with all the actors and everything seemed to fall in place with each other. They really seemed to enjoy each others company and worked very well together.
REWATCH VALUE: I would rewatch this whenever I get the chance or when there is nothing else to watch I go ahead and watch the shows I've seen before. It's not that hard to find but after LINETV isn't available I have to dig deep until I find it. This is the only show I don't skip through to get to the "good parts" because the whole thing is the good part. Just college students, that are in love with each other.

This is my second watch-through of "Together With Me". I do believe it's worth a watch, but ....
Okay, so I watched this BL before a few years ago and I couldn't remember anything from it besides the main leads. I wanted to rewatch it and see if my opinions were the same as they were during the first watch. I didn't hate this series, but I definitely didn't love it either.I don’t think this BL deserves an overly low rating because the acting and cast choice were really good. Max and Tul played their characters well, same goes for the other actors playing their support roles. The actors did a good job of making me love or hate either character. Now, with that being said I didn’t like how some of the story went. I will give it props for having a good plot line and a good story that revolved around not only Knock and Korn's problems but also Farm and Brights.
Let’s focus on the main story and do a slight overview.
I strongly believe that what happened between Knock and Korn in the first episode were both of their faults. Both were equally drunk and did something stupid. Knock only blaming Korn was stupid and childish. I understand his fear and hatred, but I think it was more towards himself. I don’t think he realized that and just chose to blame Korn.
Instead of hiding what happened from Plern, he should have talked to her, but regardless I think things would have gotten out of hand due to her personality. She’s manipulative and kind of narcissistic. She seems to care for Knock, but at the same time, she only cares for herself. After she finds out what is going on between Korn and Knock I can understand her hatred and being upset. Yes, she took things way too far instead of talking things out with Knock, but he is also in the wrong. At this point the only person to not do anything wrong is Korn. I wouldn’t say he’s completely innocent since he does still go after Knock in a way, but he isn’t borderline psycho enough to manipulate him into leaving her.
Knock is honestly the second worst next to Plern. He kept giving Korn false hope. I understand trying to get a grasp of your thoughts and feelings, but if it ended up being him staying with Plern, Korn would not have been the same mentally. Knock already blamed Korn for so much and no matter how many times he either tried to prove himself or apologize he just ignored it and believed whatever Plern told him.
On a side note; the support characters.
Yihwa was the only character with a brain trying to figure all of their problems out. She didn’t want anyone to bad mouth her friends and she stood by finding the culprits. She was by far one of my favorites.
Fai was a nice comedic character that was part of the group. She didn’t get too much time to shine and it was kind of disappointing. She is a very lovable character that I think could become so much more given the screen time.
Phu and Kavitra were a nice side couple. I don’t usually like Professor x Student trope, but that's mainly because of the huge age gap. I believe, and I may be wrong, but they only had 4 year age gap. If they had their own short series I would have loved to watch it.
Farm and Bright… Dear God this was messy. I hated Bright from the beginning. I honestly could not like him at all. He infuriated me with how much he manipulated Farm. He was just starting to like Prae, as much as she was a little obsessed, and be okay with dating her. I’m not saying this because I don’t think Farm should be with her or straight, but Bright manipulated him to the point of ruining his own birthday. Farm isn’t gonna be able to take anything good from his first relationship with a man. He even ends up being a little pib of a player himself, and that honesty is all because of Bright.
I do believe this BL is worth a watch. I sat down and reviewed every episode by itself so I could have a better understanding of the story. I did enjoy it even if I do hate some parts of it. This was one of the dramas that introduced me to Thai BL, so I can’t hate it too much in a certain sense. I would recommend to ignore how it feels at the beginning. It feels slow and dated slightly, but that’s not a bad thing. Keep yours;f open to it na you might like it.

SO MESSY…
I watched this series because I love MaxTul. It took me a while to get into the series because it is sooo messy and so much drama. The whole plot is just drama filled which can definitely get annoying and overwhelming at times. I love MaxTul but them in this series was definitely different. I think I liked the couple but at times it was a lot of miscommunication. With the other side couples, I just felt bad for Farm and I thought Phu and Korn’s sister was cute. There was just too much going on but I still enjoyed it. I kept wondering what was going to happen next.Overall, I would watch it if you like messy series but if you don’t, then don’t watch it! It can get very overwhelming and become too much. I never liked the cheating trope so that was also something I disliked about the show. But I like MaxTul and thought the series was decent. Probably wouldn’t watch it again and I am unsure if I’m going to watch the second season.

Shoutout to the subber for making it worth an experience!
I liked the first half of the drama though the premise being not unique was entertaining. I didn't have any expectation of deep dialogues or great production so it never bothered me that when it failed to deliver on that. I felt it was a very character driven drama so my review is based on the characters alone. The main guys- Korn was the sweetest person ever. Even when he was being treated badly he never misbehaved and called it out in the best way possible. Knock on the other side was a d*ckhead. He had already cheated on his gf and was not man enough to admit. He picked on random girls at a restaurant, kiss one of them and willingly slept with Korn. Later around ep 10 or 11 he initiated the sex with the kiss but then became a full time diva about this is wrong as he has a gf. The guy had no redemption arc. Least they could have shown was him apologizing for his behavior but no that's too much for his self centered ass. He didn't deserve a guy like Korn -_-
The friends circle was the best part of the show. I loved Fai, Farm, Phu and Yihwa was the MVP. Her attitude where she couldn't care less about the romance but anyhow need revenge on the gf was the best. [this is when she was about to expose PP but Korn didn't care as anyway it will not mend his relationship with Knock]. When she said - "Drink while you can because you won't be able to when you are dead" to Phu was wise & still have me laughing. I need that girl's attitude in life.
Villains lacked motivation and it made me think why the girls were so desperate about the guys, The evil acts were so so and a cliché. I think they made the gf a bitch just to excuse Knock's cheating. Bright's character was really pathetic. He was a guy with a bathroom fetish, creeped me out to my core and I want to arggghhhh slap him , no brainer I skipped majority of his scenes. Farm falling for him and what it did to him in the end was realistic.
The teacher-student relationship had some good moments but was not explored properly.
The kisses were good but overall the story made my head ache so bad. Psychopath would a mild term for the gf. Just that the subber's added comments made it fun and bearable. My suggestion don't watch it on YT because there the added commentary is missing. I won't be recommending this series as despite so many good moments it was a headache.
