Now these characters are actual bad boys. No, not those preppy, arrogant guys in soapy romance dramas that corner the girl to the wall. These guys are druggies, drinkers, and get into numerous amounts of fights and cause chaos. It is kind of rare to see this portrayed because it is always showed wrong. Surely, probably one of the best dramas I have watched in a while. I was hooked at the first episode.
I believe these people are new actors because I honestly could not find information about any of the students. But I wouldn't even have known they were rookies. They did a very good job giving the characters life. The female characters were well built and...strong. That's really the only word I can think of. They were very strong. They weren't shy or naive or going after the guy they liked. It is shown that they go through their own problems and you can see through their actions that it shapes the way they are. As for the guys, it was nice to see friendships develop and crash and develop again. They showed emotion where they needed to and had flaws and weak points. And also very nice to look at ahaha.
As for the plot, it is a bit confusing to figure at first, but eventually gets cleared up. Theres a lot going on at the same time and a lot of flashbacks. But it slowly gets stitched together.
The music is also great. There were a mix of genres, and it wasn't like a set OST. But I guess it depends on a persons taste. I liked it though.
Overall...wow. I binged it lol. I recommend. :)

Great story bad fighting
This series is enjoyable seeing the struggles that students have to go through drugs, gang, money issues, bullying, etc. Peter Ho did a great job with his acting and some scenes could get emotional and dramatic. The rating could be higher if the fighting was better. Some scenes look so fake you could tell the punch is staged. Also some of the students acting is not too convincing, they arefairly new actors. I am also not a big fan of the female cop found her a but irritating and a bad ass wanna be

I hidden gem
Ok so let me start with the fact that this is my second tv show from Taiwan and I am absolutely amazed at how great this is. This is a tv show that you will start without expectations and would not be able to let go easily. I will refrain from explaining how great it is because you simply have to give it a try. Deserves a 10 out of 10. It is not a fluffy but a very realistic tv show dealing with serious topics. It contains violence so those under 15 should wait to become of age to see it. The acting is extremely good and there was not even one person that is not suitable for its role. Top-notch in almost every aspect. Was this review helpful to you?

Everything was good
everything was good even the acting but why did they have to kill Gao Yi ( Peter Ho) ? like are you kidding me the other guys that did worst than him live , like what the F %&K! bro he was hilarious in the drama. well, anyways all the other actors/actress was excellent like they were awesome. I have a question what happen to the police lady Jiang Yu Xin (Jeanine Yang) they didn't show if she moves on or not, like Jesus christ man they just left me hanging. i would recommend it to people who want to watch some tragedy. in the Genres, there was no tragedy in the tag like they pull one over me for watching this. well at least the Acting/Cast and Music was good I would say the story too but the messed up Gao Yi death like you could have just killed him with heart problem related but no you people didn't, you made him die by a group of wannabe gangster are you kidding me.Was this review helpful to you?
