Dr. Lin discovers that Lu Yi is part of the Embroidered Uniform Guard, and we see a glimpse of why she hates them. Dr. Lin, who is not keen to help an Embroidered Uniform Guard, tells Jin Xia of a dangerous method that could cure Lu Yi. The method involves Jin Xia being bitten by a very poisonous snake and giving Lu Yi her blood, as his antidote. Jin Xia, hesitates. Jin Xia puts her arm in the box with the snake, after thinking of all the times Lu Yi has saved her and allows the snake to bite her. Meanwhile, her friends tracked her as far as Uncle, and Uncle lead them to Jin Xia. Xie Xiao causes trouble, on the way. Jin Xia reacts poorly to the snake bite and feels ill.
