Society Game 2 (2017)

A really entertaining season, with my favorite players changing many times throughout the show. Everyone showed some sort of growth by the end, and it was overall a fascinating look into a more magnanimous/positive style of play. It felt more positive as a whole than Season 1 and I think I enjoyed this slightly more for the complex social dynamics that emerged on Nopdong and cultural differences evident in Madong from the first episode.
People that enjoy complex challenges will enjoy that aspect of the show as well, but the emotional/social aspects of the game are also really interesting.
I would encourage fans of the first season to check this out, and even for those that haven't seen the first, this is certainly worth a watch. Fans of The Genius or other Jung Jong-yeon shows will likely enjoy this as well.

Compared to the last season, this season has much more drama and has a much more scheming cast. Last season, everyone was working together, but in this season, there was just many devious and scheming cast that a lot of drama was thrown around. Because of that, it made me riled up more than last season and made me start disliking a few of the cast members (just the show).

I also started to lean towards one of the societies much more than the other due to the cast members. Also, last season I felt like there was an obvious choice of who would end up going to the finals but in this season, there's a lot of talented people in physical and mental that it's hard to predict who will.

If you thought last season was kind of bland, you should watch this season because there's much more drama between the cast members rather than the peaceful environment S1 gave.
