This show was still so much fun to watch. I watched both seasons consecutively though, so by season 2, I started wishing there were more scenes with Mu Xi and Dan Yi together. The fun part of the show is watching them deal with problems together. Their dynamic as both friends and rivals is entertaining and is what kept me tuned in. Some episodes near the end, I had to watch in 2x speed. I liked the overall plot, the way they matured and understood each other in the end, but there was too much filler plot to get there. It's not that I think the other characters are unnecessary or uninteresting—I love all the kids—but wished that the sequence in which they told their stories were interlaced with more of the two leads. I was particularly tired of Xin Yi's fantasies. Why did Xin Yi get more romantic scenes with Dan Yi (albeit via her fantasies) than Mu Xi did anyway? Lol.
I'm complaining, but I did really enjoy The Big Boss. It might even become one of my favorite dramas. The strength of this drama is in the characters, not necessarily the plot. And there are many moments that are worth rewatching for the laughs. I still stand by what I said about season 1. This is a lighthearted youth comedy. It's good for when you're looking for something really easy to watch. I only wish there were more.

How to watch season 2 of Big boss
I saw season 2 but when I went in and checked 1 to 18 I saw that it was the same thing in season 1Idk whyyyyy
Plz help me to find a way to watch the second season if their is one by the way

He acts really good
Those twin boys are just so funny they can make u laugh all dayy.
Munxi is so energetic, funny, and very stubborn at times
Liao danyi is so handsome
I thought he and yezi would have kissed at the amusement Park but their friends came and interrupted them
I believe that if their friends didn't come then, then they would have kissed.
I really want to watch season 2 plzzzzzzzz

STORY
There is little to no romance in this show which is not necessarily a bad thing.
It's a fun drama which shows the value of friendship over anything else.
I felt like the characters and story could have been fleshed out a little more rather than having full episode dedicated to the alternate universes.
ACTING/CAST
Looking at the casts bios, it's a mix of experienced and fresh actors.
The show's format allows for dramatic acting and I never once found myself cringing at the acting.
MUSIC
As per a lot of Chinese shows, they don't care for ad libbing correctly so all the music related scenes are a little bit of a struggle to watch as the lip syncing does not match the music.
That said, all the music in the show was enjoyable.
REWATCH VALUE
I'm not one for rewatching shows but I would struggle to rewatch this again.
It's a fun feel good show but with the amount of alternate universe scenes, I would not enjoy a second run through.
