Selfless love, action, "damsel in distress" trope - it has all the elements that i want in a drama so you could say i'm a little bit biased with my rating. When I read the synopsis, I already started preparing myself for a tragic ending. I mean, if i put myself on the FL's shoes, i don't think I could ever forgive someone who killed my family - regardless of the circumstances. Who would anyway?? However those are just my initial thoughts and everything has changed since then. Most of my sympathy goes to the ML (Kawin/Nai Noi), which was odd because I thought I would pity the FL (Chalita/Bell) more. The guilt he had to experience as a child and the lengths that he could do for the FL will truly melt your heart. The chemistry between the two leads is one of the best I've seen. The acting is amazing, most especially Alek. One look in his eyes and you could already see the love that he has for the FL. The kind of love that is not possessive, the one that seeks for FL's happiness more than anything. He loves her and yet there's that boundary that he could not cross because of the guilt. Oh I tell you, the scenes where he looks at the FL with his endearing eyes is heart-rending - because even if I (badly) want them to end up together already, I just can't bring myself to do so. The character that I also pity the most is Chakrit. It's kinda funny because I used to hate him in the beginning, but towards the end, I just want him to find the happiness he seeks.
There were TONS of times where the ML will save the FL so if you don't want that, well I guess this drama ain't for you. The FL is innocent and grew up in such a peaceful community (after the tragedy), so it's just understandable that she would find the fighting appalling. As a matter of fact, I love how the ML will do literally ANYTHING just to keep the FL safe. I think the only one thing that is annoying with the FL is how she easily comes with Chakrit and ends up being in danger in the end :---) But i guess, again, it's because she's innocent and was just really determined to find out who Nai Noi is. In any case, I must say that the FL is a pretty likeable character compared to other lakorns - how she could be smart and bold where it needs to be. She does not act on impulse and very much examines the situation carefully.
Most importantly, I love how the drama highlights the importance of forgiveness and acceptance. Let me quote what Nai Noi said in the end: "Don't let the bad past ruin the good time in the present. We might be upset, but must be upset with understanding. Accept it, and continue to move forward." This has really struck a chord in me and probably one of the few things that this drama has taught me. I could never stress enough how understanding and forgiving the FL is. She doesn't get mad easily, but is rather willing to forgive, accept, and cherish the present. Huhu both leads really deserve each other. They are wayyyyy too kind-hearted.
Overall, I would recommend this drama. It has a good solid beginning and has consistently kept my interest and suspense until the end.

I started watching this lakorn because of Pop – I was thoroughly entertained with the character he played and it has been the most different type of character I’ve seen him play. Its silly, ridiculous and childish compared to the more manly/mature and sensible characters he has played. I really really want to see him play more leading roles because he has the potential, he is such a versatile actor and he’s hella fine *swoon* Enough of my rant over Pop!I was preparing myself for a whole lot of angst and tragedy with this one base on the synopsis. It wasn’t as tragic , there was a good mix of drama, angst, tragedy, romance and COMEDY.
I was pleasantly surprise that they didn’t make it cliché on Belle forgiving and understanding Nai Noi. It was realistic how she came to find out – our FL is not naiive, blind or stupid. She is very smart and extremely reasonable. She’s very level headed and reasonable – even with Chakrit. Chakirt has tried to manipulate her to hurt Nai Noi. Although she is also stubborn and falls for it, she does not get completely sucked in. It frustrated me how stubborn she was about Nai Noi, but in the end she came through. As Belle puts the pieces of the puzzle together and realizes Kawin is Nai Noi / Mark we see that she understands though she is still scared. It was pretty realistic and I was glad this was played out well and not cliché or abrupt. Although Nai Noi was not the one who pulled the trigger and killed Belle’s family we really see how much this has affected Nai Noi. He does everything he can to repent for it, making sure Belle has everything including love and family/support. His character is utterly self-less.
Now lets talk about Pong! He is my absolute favourite in this entire lakorn. I wish he had more screen time, especially with Mei Hua. I really wanted to see more of their interactions, their friendship and romance. It wasn’t enough. Pop killed it here. I was CRYING in the last episode because of him LOL. I don’t want to spoil, but it is a good kind of crying, I thought I was going to die.
Nai Yai (Nick), Tiankong, Chakrit and Patcharin.. these 4. Damn. Patcharin is the most wicked and evilest in this entire lakorn and I feel for Chakrit. Chakrit deserves so much more and you can see that all he truly wanted was recognition from Nai Yai. Patcharin truly did not care about her son’s well-being or his feelings.. she did not deserve the loyalty Chakrit had.

This lakorn is really really good! One of the top lakorns in my list. Fell in love with ML throughout the whole lakorn. He’s so protective and loving towards the FML. Story was awesome and pace of lakorn was just nice, neither too fast nor too slow. I liked how the FML was understanding and forgiving towards the ML not like other lakorns where you’ll get annoyed over the FML actions. The support roles acting was also excellent! Bodyguards of the ML were super cute too! This lakorn have some funny parts and not mainly a sad one. The ML and FML intersections are so sweet and I always smiled when they were together! Best lakorn ever! Recommended to everyone! Was this review helpful to you?

Conflicted characters with Intertwined Fates
This is one of the best Lakorns where there isn't a lot of slapping, which I liked. The ML has to be one of the most conflicted I've watched, and tries EVERYTHING to redeem his past sins against the FL. To watch him slowing fall in love with her is almost poetic.I did enjoy the FL who is absolutely adorable. Also, in the scenes where she has to look frightened or hurt, I thought she did a VERY good job.
The chemistry between the leads is realistic and it becomes a slow burn through out. I recommend this series if you want a very nice ML and bubbly FL and don't mind the violence associated with the main plot.

My most FAVORITE lakorn
I would rate more than 10 if there was an option.I have been watching Thai Lakorn for more than 10 years and this one is so far my most favorite. I love a story where the man would risk and sacrifice everything for a girl he loves. I have never known these two actors before, but they did such a great job and have a great chemistry.
I seriously cannot get over this lakorn and kept watching my favorite episodes again and again.
This lakorn contains all emotions- sad, funny, surprised, emotional, romantic, etc. Highly recommend!!!

Patricia Tanchanok Good? I find her too immature for a nang'ek o this kind. Why don't they ever cast her into something lighter, more fitting her age and acting skill? I don't particularly wish to watch her with Alek. And looking at the drama's progress, it looks like we won't get rid off the crime themes. Ugh... I'm afraid I'm not interested...
Note: First nang'ek/pra'ek meeting is like a parody. Alek looks like he's seeing a ghost (should I withdraw my statement that he CAN act?:D) she looks like a nerdy kid, then she of course has to trip over the carpet to end up in his arms, looking so embarrassing, like they're doing sit-com. Then there's Deaw Suriyon in a "glamorous" suit, also calling himself mr. Reeves... I mean... Seriously. Do a comedy. Then the viewers would laugh about the same amount, but to your credit!
