Usually Filipino dramas are so long and sometimes over-dramatic but this one is a very realistic one. The story is long and has lots of twists and turns but it shows reality. If you love romance that will make you feel 'kilig' this is the right one for you. It also have that dramatic side and it made me cry few times throughout the drama because it will really make you feel what the characters are going through. It gave a new light of what Filipino OFWs have to go through while working overseas while still having that romance in the story.

The casts are well-picked. Aside the fact that I love JaDine, this drama is actually well acted by the real life celebrity couple. The second lead Paolo Avelino also portrayed the role very well that made the story successful.

The theme songs that were used intensifies the emotions of the drama. Some can make you feel the 'kilig moments', touching moments, crying moments and all the other emotions that are incorporated within the drama.

After you're watching the drama, you'd still want for more. I almost wanted to watch it again soon after finishing all the episodes. This drama overall is awesome.

Now please, yes in reality as well as other dramas there have been scenarios like this where the couple fall in love by fake marriage for a green card in america. " the american life" is such a myth and reality at the same time.

but this story was really unique i was tired of watching the same shitty cringe dramas. i was at that point bored of anime too so i decided to give it a go.
god it was long. i did skip a few episodes. but the first 30 or 50 i couldn't skip. the chemistry the acting they were so perfect.
even though the story is filled with unrealistic co-incidences i, the acting and cinematography made it perfectly realistic.

True love is patient. Ang tunay na nag-mamahal, nag-hihintay..

Originally not a fan of this love team, but this show changed my mind. They really did have an undeniable on screen chemistry. Maybe being a real life couple at that time helps too, I don't know, but both of them and the whole casts did a good job in portraying their roles.

Just like most asian drama, this one has too many episodes. Some episodes, I watched through the recap provided at the start of each episodes.

At around episode 40, I'm so craving for their happy ending. It was a very long ride, from the Philippines to San Francisco to other locations.. their characters did have grown and developed beautifully.

Aside from the scenic trips the show provided, they also managed to showcase Filipino customs and traditions. They managed to take us with them and share their love story, their joys and even their pain. It's quite a journey.
