Simple plot yet refreshing
It is an unexpectedly good movie given the fact that the plot sound cliché. Two people being together to overcome or move on from their exes. It was simple yet the execution was great. They didn't try to make it too dramatic and instead more of realistic.I admit this isn't the movie I will think of when you ask me for my favorite movie but this is really a good one. It's just a feel good movie. No much complications. The concept isn't too shallow as well since there's a depth on what the character feels. Big applause to the leads because they really did a good job making their characters come to life.
I really recommend this for people who's just wanting to see a movie that is light-hearted.

It wasn't scary and hella confusing
The movie is about lesbianism being a big deal causing shame and criticisms. The problem is I'm not really sure what kind of message this movie wants to tell.I watched the first Whispering Corridors and everything was really confusing but the ending clarifies everything and the message was clearly conveyed. For the first 20mins, I actually thought it was better than the first one because the flow of events is logical and I was getting into it. The casts also started having more depth but suddenly it became blur because of the hallucinations and the timeline suddenly goes back and forth without specific reason. I was hoping that everything will be clarified in the end but I ended up more confused. I know that the Whispering Corridors series is not really a continuous story and it only continues with the same settings of all girls school and tackles a specific problem in the society but this one wasn't able to make enough impact to give it's message.
I commend the casts though, it was better than the previous. I was also shocked to see young Gong HyoJin and Park YeJin in this movie and they really grew up as a fine and great actresses of today.
For this movie, I don't really recommend it however my preference might be different from others. This is based on my personal preference and opinion only.

Decent horror film with a close-ended plot for beginners
I saw this movie on Netflix' Top 10 for more than a week now so I have decided to give it a try. Horror is not really a go-to on my watchlist but for a change I have picked this one.For starters, the horror on this movie is at least 3 out of 10 so for horror seekers looking for the screams and heart racing, this might not be your cup of tea.
The story is definitely a slowburn. A lot of scenes doesn't makes sense and the way they reacted to the things happening around them. Acting is barely tolerable but still decent. If you watch it, you'll get what I mean.
What I liked on this movie though is that most of the questions about the main plot has been answered. I really like movies that gives me peace of mind after I watch them so it kind of get better for me towards the end. The revelations are just mind blowing. It was definitely unexpected.
If you just want a light horror to watch, I recommend this. This can be a good horror for a beginner. For me the story is decent enough for this to be worth the watch.

Just another typical zombie virus movie
The usual typical zombie movie with a pinch of quarantine feels. I'm not really a fan of zombie dramas or films so it's really rare for me to get impressed in something related to it.The storyline is linear and too plain if I may say. I don't see anything that would set this apart on other movies. This also doesn't give enough backstory as to why the virus was even there in the first place.
Yoo AhIn and Park ShinHye were able to portray what people would really look like if that were to happen in reality. Too bad their good acting wasn't justified by the plot itself.
I'm not saying that this is a bad movie. It's actually not just right my alley but if you're into zombie thing, this is a quite decent film to watch and unwind.

Horror movie that's not really scary with a good ending
This film is good but hella confusing.I love the story and the message that the movie wants to portray about friendship using a horror film as a medium however there were few things that were lacking in this film as well. The story wasn't presented smoothly and the story keeps going back and forth on different characters causing it to have lack of continuity. Once you finished the movie though, you'd be able to piece everything together and understand what happened.
The characters are too bland and the acting was a bit unnatural but it was understandable since it's an old film. It wasn't as organized as what new films have nowadays.
For horror seekers, this wasn't scary at all. It was all the sounds making it creepy but that's all. Not really the kind of film I recommend but it's at least worth a try.

A story of youths slowly diving into the world of adults
I dived into this drama without much expectations but this took me by surprise. The story is very realistic although undeniably sad at some point. It's about how 17-year old teens who's almost an adult but not quite an adult yet, deals with the reality of being an adult starting from how their parents are like. It didn't only grew on my heart but definitely earned a spot on my mind trying to reflect about what I've watched. The main leads, which are actually from Thirty But Seventeen, have a really good chemistry together. I also love that they made the male lead talking less and made his actions speak for him so the moment he talked much, I actually got goosebumps. The songs actually complimented the mood of the drama so there's nothing I can complain about it.
This definitely deserve a spot on my re-watch list. For those who are looking for not the typical lovey-dovey school romance, this is a good pick because although it's more on a serious note it gives an actual life advise and it still has a good plot that anyone can relate to.

Fantastic cinematography
This movie is mind-blowing. At first seeing the bloodbath, you might think that it's just another killing story/movie but it wasn't.The cinematography is seriously the best part for me with transitions and the timeline perfectly laid out to give you a bit of mystery.
The casts of the film played their parts perfectly as well making the film more realistic. You can feel the emotions of the characters without them saying a lot of words.
The plot is good specially how they made sure that the past and present will not cause any confusion but rather answer the questions you have in mind. I just wished a bit that this wasn't a tragedy story. I would've loved to see the main character living a simple life just like how she wished for it.

The casts are well-picked. Aside the fact that I love JaDine, this drama is actually well acted by the real life celebrity couple. The second lead Paolo Avelino also portrayed the role very well that made the story successful.
The theme songs that were used intensifies the emotions of the drama. Some can make you feel the 'kilig moments', touching moments, crying moments and all the other emotions that are incorporated within the drama.
After you're watching the drama, you'd still want for more. I almost wanted to watch it again soon after finishing all the episodes. This drama overall is awesome.

The first real 'ex-couple' on screen -- made all the hype
There's a lot to unpack here so buckle up. Here we go~This is one of the prime examples of how to get the right cast. More than the movie itself, most of the people including me possibly got intrigued and watched this because of Joshua and Julia.
As a context for non-Filipinos or someone who's not really into showbiz tea, it may be unusual in other countries but in PH, when an artist is labeled with a 'loveteam' they usually have shows back to back to back. Like all you'll see is a bunch of shows and movies with those 2 people partnered up over and over again -- which is probably the reason why most 'loveteams' do end up being romantically involved off-screen which will make the fans go more wild and the more reason for them to lead on more shows or movies. JoshLia is one of the most popular 'loveteams' on and off screen in the Philippine media so it was a shock to everyone when they broke up 5 years ago. The break up was also mixed with other controversies that beg to ask the question if the cause of the relationship's downfall is a third party -- and caused people to pick sides. I won't be able to tell which is the truth but just letting you know it was a thing.
Fast forward to 2024 and JoshLia is back on screen with their role as ex-lovers. I can't speak for everyone but when I saw the trailer, I went nuts. Since they are real-life 'ex-lovers', it kind of blurred the line between reality and fiction. There were scenes that made me think about whether it was still scripted or were the lines just naturally came out from their past breakup and I think that's what really sold the movie to me. Upon watching it though, I'm surprised that it delivered.
There were a few notes though, I personally think that the Filipino movies have already come a long way, but there's still waaaaay more to improve on our overall movie production. The western movies are way way more advanced than what we have. With that being said, I would say that I did enjoy watching it. There were scenes that I didn't like much or character decisions that were a little questionable even in reality but I guess it still delivered some relatable lessons on relationships -- what things to avoid and what things to do more. Oh, and the lines -- fire 🔥🔥🔥. I've been thinking about them until we get back home.
While this might not be for everyone. I think it's a good weekend watch -- alone or with someone or with an ex?

Excruciating episodes of seeing people go crazy either due to the disease or just them being insane
While the story is continuously progressing, it kind of felt boring and lacking plus I am mostly annoyed because most of the characters seems to be villains. More than the disease, people are worse than viruses or whatsoever. When people become greedy and selfish, no other thing could be worse than that. Watching those long 12 episodes felt like a torture and a compilation of how humanity is dead and I was honestly holding on hoping that everything will end well and fortunately it did end well. So a big sigh of relief that I didn't waste half a day for something not worth it.To be honest, I'm not really into 'zombie' / 'apocalyptic' type of series or movie so that's why it's really rare for me to review it highly unless it really amazed me. Unfortunately, Happiness fell short on my list but big consideration that everything ended well. It still gave me hope and definition the last episode was the best so far.
Acting wise, the characters did well specially the villains who annoyed the sht out of me. Kudos to the well-executed portrayal. The infected also acted well and the action scenes are also of great quality so I commend that. Background music also blends in well with the scenario keeping the tension going and the thrill.
Overall, I feel like the journey of watching it although a bit painful for me, I still enjoyed it. So if you're into zombie/apocalyptic type of genre you might love this more than I did.

Mystery plus time travel equals mind-blowing
First of all, I didn't watch the Venezuelan movie wherein this originally came from and I really had a terrible sets of Korean movies that I watched before that's why I'm not expecting anything from this one. I am not really a fan of horror unless the plot is worth the scare so I watched this with a 'meh' feeling HOWEVER this movie is a actually great and definitely my style. Maybe because I am not really a fan of horror movies that's why I appreciated minimal jump scares. I was completely taken a away by the plot and how things fit perfectly step by step. I was amazed how they were able to add time travelling to mystery-thriller genre. It was really good and it's definitely my style.Plus seeing Taecyeon in this movie as a 'hot, sexy' priest is really a bonus. The sound effects were just enough to give you chills which is really my style. If I were given a chance I would like to re-watch this as a Halloween special marathon.

Interesting plot, amazing CG as ever but it's kind of a bit of a let down.
I feel like this series has an interesting story. The situation that led the characters to space is quite convincing and at the same time it makes you wonder how will the whole thing turn out. However, throughout the series I felt like this could've been better if it was just a movie rather than a series. In most episodes, I felt like there were a lot of things that didn't really matter and felt like a futile attempt to add depth to the story. Another thing is that there's not much of a 'chemistry' among the crews. It definitely felt like they will start killing each other from the start.Rants aside, there were several things that I liked about this series though such as:
- The premise of the story about scarcity of water that led people to make researches to find an alternative. I really find it interesting because I love anything science. (I am not a producer/writer but I feel like the whole story would've been a lot better if they focused on finding the solution rather than focusing on digging the past, attempt to monopolize the solution, betrayals, etc.)
- The amazing CGIs. I cannot imagine how long does the editing for each episode was done and how meticulous the set was made. It is definitely worth commending.
It might just be me because I had high expectations after watching Space Sweepers so I was kind of expecting the same 'wow' factor however The Silent Sea falls a little short on that. I still recommend this if you're fan of space sci-fi or Gong Yoo Ahjussi.

Intriguing start but it is just an ordinary feel good drama
I was excited to watch this because this is the first time I am seeing Kim SoHye act. I found her cute on Produce 101 and I always wondered how would she be like while acting. It was a pleasant surprise to see Na InWoo too. I'm really curious what other works he had after seeing him on Mr. Queen. Anyways, this is definitely a different role from what I have seen from him in Mr. Queen. He's kind of a bit awkward on this one. When I read the plot it is quite intriguing for me. It's kind of unique from most romance dramas I have seen. There was nothing really extraordinary about it however I liked how simple it was presented. There were times were the scene felt like too much. There were also few times where I feel like SoHye's make up doesn't suit her face exactly. In terms of romance, the chemistry is good however it doesn't have that much of a spark unlike other dramas. I think the plot lacks depth that's why it turned out mediocre. I can see the potential of the casts here. I really wish to see them on other good dramas.
The songs are a bit repetitive although I admit that the songs were appropriate and it feels good to hear however I felt like it was played a lot of times that it kind of felt boring. InWoo's voice is really warm and comforting if I may say. Do I recommend this drama? Yes, because I love the casts and the story is decent enough at the same time no, because there were parts that I felt boring or a bit draggy. If you have the time though, why not watch it and see for yourself. It's less than 3 hours to watch anyway.

60% Drama, 25% Detective and 15% Variety
I've been waiting for Busted Season 3 since the Season 2 ended. My thoughts about the 'final season' is that it's still a great show but I felt like it has been too different from the previous seasons. It has it's own charms so it's hard to compare it really. Nevertheless, I still love it.This season focused more on the drama aspect so it felt a bit more scripted than the other two. Also, the grand scale set of challenges that made it a 'variety show' are noticeably lesser. They replaced it with crime scene investigations like on a detective show format. It's not that I hate it because I also love detective shows but seeing the first 2 seasons I can't help but compare and notice that Season 3 is a bit more different.
As for the casts, it has still the same 'Busted vibes.' Lee KwangSoo is back however Ahn JaeWook is no longer in this season and hasn't been mentioned on the series. Their characters are still there but since it became more serious due to the drama side, less jokes has been played. Most of them improved their deduction skills like JongMin and KwangSoo. They are no longer the fools of the team.
The guests are still high-end as usual. They actually invited a lot of interesting guests and also a lot of familiar faces. Tae HangHo is almost a fixed guest on the show since he appeared on Season 2. But I seriously love it. The plot twists of the drama storyline reminds me of makjang dramas. Also every episode there's a social issue that's being featured which leaves a meaningful message for the viewer.
If you love Busted 1&2, I'm sure you'll love this as well with it's unique charm. Season 3 has it's own story line so even if you don't watch the previous seasons it doesn't really affect the story but of course, for the full experience I still recommend to watch the first 2 seasons.

Bloopers and behind-the-scene stories
This is a drama commentary of Eulachacha Waikiki. It's good that they revealed some bloopers and behind-the-scene stories but both special is actually like a replay of "Anyone Can Be A Wolverine" and "Marriage Is An Insane Act" with some of their side comments while watching it.I wish they revealed more bloopers regarding the show. I think it will be more fun that way. Also if they can describe how it feels like to work with one another or what similarities and differences they have between their character in Eulachacha Waikiki and their personality in real life. Or maybe a vlog while on shoot. Those are things that I'm actually curious about. I'd love to see Baby Sol on this special episode but she's not here.
