Poo Bao Indy Yayee Inter (2019)

If you're hesitant on watching this show because you've seen the same concept over and over again; definitely push pass the hesitation because this show is one for the books. But to be honest, sticking Weir into a role back to his roots is the best choice any director can do because he does a damn good job at it. Stephany also played an awesome character and you'll live for every single part she speaks english because it is hilarious but awesome all at the same time. The story sounds so cliche and the concept sounds like you've seen it a million times but it's actually a great one; there's random parts where there's so much going on but the cool part is that it never strays away or makes you not want to watch it. The give screen time to the main roles and the chemistry is absolutely amazing, they don't down play the drama in any way but they also don't make it overcome the whole story. Everyone played such an important part; towards the end it seemed like a lot but honestly, it's just a good show overall. You'll laugh and feel yourself tearing up and you'll cheer with the whole team and sing and dance along to the music because it's just a good ol time. Definitely worth the watch; shout out to Thippy for subbing this bad boy.

While the bad guys do act as a bit of a filler sometimes, the developing romance is really sweet. Weir was a great male lead - steady in his affections and there are no big misunderstandings. He stood by her all the way. The ending while sweet, could have been more gratifying if they showed some details - would have loved to see how they made the living arrangements work and all what with her work in the city and his at the village or who moves where. Or to actually see their married life rather than just her accepting his proposal. After all, we see his best friend having kids and all! Maybe the practical side of me needs such details fleshed out!
