The Lost Tomb 2 (2019)

the first season of The Lost Tomb series. But differnt actors. I would recommend you watch the 1st season then the 2nd season. Both have a interesting plot.

They have the same character although different actor playing in it. For me, this series storyline wasn't as complicated as other series but it doesn't lack greatness because of all the actors great acting. Easy for non-chinese like me to understand.

The Mystic Nine is a story about nine different surnames families that foam up some 70 years ago in ChangSha as a powerful family clan to protect their dark secret business - Tomb Raidings. And many characters in this The Lost Tomb 1 & 2 here are the decendents from The Mystic Nine's nine families grandsons, grand daughters or uncles. To further and clearly understand the stories, it's much better to start watching from The Mystic Nine first then lead to this The Lost Tomb (1) and to this The Lost Tomb 2.

The Mystic Nine series is about the nine grave robbing families who are the ancestors of The Lost Tomb's main characters current and future generations. A prequel to The Lost Tomb and provides a really good contextual background.

The last part of this The Lost Tomb 2's story is taken from another story Eagles And Youngster. The whole drama is like a sequel between Eagles And Youngster and Sea If Tombs to add in to this The Lost Tomb 2.

The Lost Tomb 2 is the Prequel of Reunion: The Sound of the Providence Season 2. It is also the sequel of The Lost Tomb which is the parent story The sound of the Providence.
The characters are the same, but not the actors.

There are some characters in this The Lost Tomb 2 are somewhat related to Tomb Of The Sea. Especially “Hei Ye”.

Before watching this The Lost Tomb, it's better start from watching The Mystic Nine. Coz this The Lost Tomb it has all the characters from The Mystic Nine's (all nine surnames of families in The Mystic Nine) their descendants.
