The show focuses on a man named Kenji and his younger sister Yasuko, whose parents died in an accident 10 years earlier. Kenji was once the leader of a gang, but in order to support him and his sister, he began making a living as a shojo mangaka. His character normally wears glasses and appears to be a gentle guy, but he throws off his glasses and reverts to his violent side whenever he tries to protect Yasuko from danger. Part of the story follows Yasuko's romance with an intelligent and good-looking man named Jun Tsubaki. Jun's older sister Erika now runs a flower shop, but Erika was once a leader of a female gang, and she used to be in love with Kenji during those days. ~~ Adapted from the manga series by Aruko. I have just finished watching this show and thought I would write a review as I was uneasy at first about watching it.

I thought it would be cheesy, forced, dull, and over-acted. But I was very wrong there. It's absolutely hilarious! The acting is great, and they chose the cast well.

Visually, this is a bright and colourful show. Each episode has a good amount of fun and a proper story to it. It's convenient, as you can just watch it slow or in one go, it does not make a difference. The stories are mainly high school / romance oriented, and although it has very common elements to it, the story is not predictable, but very enjoyable.

For all these above, the good laughs, and the sad feeling I had after finishing the show I give it a 10. Also, I liked it so much I could watch it again tomorrow.

If you want me to compare it to something else, this is a perfect combination of Gokusen + My Boss My Hero.

For me this is one of those very few j-dramas where I cannot ask for anything changed. Perfect as it is.

Watch it if you want something that cheers you up and puts a smile on your face in the end.

Fist fights, Knuckle punch, High-kick, and Uppercuts. Yes, you have to be a fan of these fighting-brawling-shouting-motorcycle-riding-and-weird-looking-fashion-gangster-style to truly enjoy this drama. yup, and truly I am one of them. This theme might be too mainstream in the world of J-dramas, but nevertheless, as an avid fan of this style, it was fun and enjoyable. The story may not be that interesting, but it was quite inspirational to me (I was really crying in some of the episodes!). Comedy, romance and drama was well-balanced in this story, personally, I love the comedy style. The epic facial expressions and don't forget the fall-here-fall-there-fall-everywhere comedy acts was truly funny. Romance was not truly emphasized, but its still there, and is a essential theme point in the whole plot. There is a nice character development throughout the series, especially in the 4 main leads. Acting was cool and truly amusing, the characters are very well emphasized especially onto the portrayals of each of their personality. Music, is well, fine, I didn't pay attention to much to the music, I was more onto the story and characters, but I guess, It created the "atmosphere" of the story. you know, that background music when heroes comes to the scene? yes, that type of "feel" is definitely what makes the quality of music a fit. Re-watch value was okay, as for me, I just past-backward a little bit just to re-watch the epic comedy scenes throughout the series and even pause for that moment when epic faces show up.:) Overall, It was cool and nice, truly inspirational, certainly gives a big laugh, makes you want to fall in love and cry a bit. :) Very Amusing Indeed. Worth a watch.
