Unexpected cast. But amazing delivery
Honestly, I did not expect Ohm and Singto as a couple. But they outdid their performances.A ghost who died too young in probable heart disease (Singto as Med). A young boy who can see ghosts (ohm as Thun). Two best friends who are very caring also extremely nosy (Chimon as prince and SIng as Khem). One girl torn between her love and friendship (Gigie as Praifah). A coming out story and the mystery of the death of the young ghost. This drama series tackles too many things yet it does not fall short into the promise of delivering top-notch storytelling.
He's Coming To Me is essentially a romance comedy between a very cute ghost and a young human boy. Singto's acting is brilliant. In fact, it's above brilliant. His innocent puppy eyes will steal your heart for sure. Ohm too, I knew his versatality , but he is just amazing. Chimon as the brilliant students of the group passes with flying colours. Sing has a special place at my heart. His character takes the cake of the comedic acting.
Over his career Sing has played some amazing characters. he mostly does support roles but often has the capacity to even shadow the main leads. His character Khem is a little stupid, the mood maker, the one with questionable skills and the fiercely protective and supportive best friend. 60% of enjoyment of the comedy relies on his shoulders.
This is a truly comfort drama for all. I will rewatch it for sure and this is coming from someone who hails Triage as their comfort drama. Oh the irony!
At the episode 7 and 8, the series escalates and we reach the climax. The mystery unfolds and we finally find out the actual cause of Med's death.
Also there are strong allusions of Harry Potter all over the series. From mention of Platform 93/4, to the chamber of secrets, a snake guarding the chamber of secrets, Med (Singto) being the boy hidden in the cupboard as the door of his room was covered through a literal cupboard. I found it quite creative actually.
The music is also good. Director P'Aof never dissapoints anyway. This series will be close to my heart.

Unspoken Love
I'm still fairly new to the BL world, so there are lots of dramas that have been recommended that I haven't watched.I've seen Singto in Baker Boys and know of Ohm (but not seen Bad Buddy yet!). I love supernatural stories so thought this might be interesting, but that was all. I was surprised as the acting was great and the story was clever with lots of fun and angst.
I didn't expect the ending or the flirting that happened then!
What I liked: Ohm's acting was great. When he was cute, he was great. When he was angry, he was great. When he was in pain, he was great. Outstanding scenes for me were the coming out to mum scene (brilliant) and the confrontation scene with grandpa.
Also, a younger, lovelorn Chimon was so sweet. His character felt relatable. The scene where he confessed made me smile and I was hopeful it would turn out OK.
What I didn't like: scenes where Singto was pouty were cringey and unnecessary.
Overall, it hooked me in and I had to see it through to the end.

THIS IS WHAT I PAY MY INTERNET FOR
It has been so long since I last felt pleased this much watching a series. A ghost x a person, that story/concept could go wrong on so many levels, yet, this one didn't. The two's emotional development took place smoothly and was absolutely convincing.Yes, there were many plot holes, but they were minor, and it didn't affect the main events at all, so I'll just let it slides then, it is harder to find series WITHOUT plot holes, anyway.
The ending was so pleasing and comforting that I couldn't have asked for anything else.
The acting was superior ! All of them were significant, present and believable. I'm glad that I found a series that has actors who can really bring out all the basic emotions within a person. Although, they could actually act like they were not seeing anyone instead of avoiding eye contact altogether when interacting with the spirit of Med. But that did not push me away, therefore, it doesn't affect the watching experience that much.
And the music~~ Oh my lord ! It was beautiful and meaningful and was placed appropriately throughout the series, I was impressed (and some of the copyrighted soundtracks has become my favs, too).
To conclude, this series will quech your thirst of having a good BL to dive in, do not miss out.

ONE OF THE BEST BL TO BINGE WATCH!!!!
I binge watched this and can't even get bored with it!Tbh, this is the first drama I've reviewed with full 10 star.. but it was soo on the pointtt
It was at the right length of drama, the right atmosphere, the right cast!
At first, I was just watching this for Ohm, but the series able to make me stay and made me shed some tears here and there!
The love story of a human and a ghost may be a field full of land mines, but I recommend you to watch this, cause they execute it beautifully
PRODUCTION
The execution was incredibly nice! At first seeing this on 2018 drama with supernatural setting I prepare myself for the worst case scenario of an edit. But it turns out quite well!
STORY
I'm really happy with the story and how the writer wrap it. The flow on this drama is amazing, It keeps the audience glues to the monitor and keep feeling the story flow. I got NO feeling of a rushed story and NO unimportant prolong of the story.
ACTING/CAST
Sometimes its hard to pretend a person not there and making sure that you don't meet their eyes, so that the audience can differentiate between people who can see them and who can't, without gluing your eyes to the ground. But the actors did it nicely.
I'm a person who likes to see the smiles the actors makes. And sometimes (very rarely) I can feel that the actor's smile is a bit forced, like its not their usual smile, but maybe that's just in my mind. I still love the cast very much tho! (cause, duh, im here because one of em)
MUSIC
Sometimes the music in drama feels bland or too much. I rarely put anything above 8 for music In a drama for I can never tell and often feels indifferent to it. But with this drama, they made the audience notice the present of sound effect yet didn't make them feel bothered by it. Especially in the first episode when Med is in critical condition, we can hear the music that the character hear, but then we can hear more of his heartbeat and the transition between it isn't weird.
REWATCH?
I will rewatch a few episode! But since I'm not a rewatch lover, I probably will watch some scene that I love.

If Casper liked boys
Fantastic plot, not rushed in the slightest, 3Dimensional characters all around, focused and fantastically acted.+ Singto crushes his roll + fantastic support cast + non toxic BL tropes!
- plot twists lacked - slightly predictable - the 'girlfriend' was not needed
It was incredibly written with each character having specific goals and stories, they were supportive and relevant to the plot from start to finish.
The major twists just kind of happened there was not much seed planting early in the season so they just became like "oh OK well yeah i guess that makes sense. So they lacked depth in that regard.
This was my first BL with Ohm (Thun) and i was so impressed with what he added and his acting especially with someone like Singto (Med) was perfect.
For once i found myself wanting more side stories i genuinely wanted more of Jeng and Ngoon.

Possibly my favourite BL
OMG this show had me laughing and also had me crying buckets. Seriously the sobbing level was great. Yet I watched it a few times over. The actors were so good in this show - from Singto and Ohm to Ohm’s mother to Ohm’a friends…Such a cute story between the human and the ghost. Loved the plot twists too which also included solving the mystery. Singto and Ohm were brilliant and had great chemistry - both are such natural actors. Plot progression was good too. A cute, feel good story that you’d want to watch over and over again. Was this review helpful to you?

It was so unexpectedly great!!
I actually scared to watch this because i was scared it will end with a cliche ending like the ghost moving on or something but damn finally i watched it after felt like wanting to watch something sad and collecting all my courage... But errrr instead of crying i think i laughed more??and as i watched this drama i started to think will gmm really do the cliche ending?? Is this gonna be a sad ending?? Gmmtv with sad ending? And as i thought as i watch the series it is impossible for gmmtv to make a sad ending for their bl dramas... So if anyone out there who are scared to watch this because of the unsure ending it will have... Dont be! And just watch this you wont regret it i promise! I really love this drama damn its not solely focusing on the NC scenes or typical bl love story this is really something else a ghost with a human like what??? But their chemistry made you forgot about that issues and just enjoyed their moments together with them... Im going to rewatch this until im bored??and how ohm helped singto, how he was in denial about his feeling but ended up accepting it.. The plot twists!! The progression of the story really great it was not rushed at all for an 8 episodes long series.. I love how ohm got angry for singto it was so real..but i cant help myself to think about nanon and krist waiting for them behind the scene with clothes hanger in their hands after each kiss scenes?????Was this review helpful to you?
Huge suspension of disbelief needed
For obvious reasons the show requires a huge suspension of disbelief before watching it. If you keep that in mind, the show is just incredible. The story keeps you on your toes, as the characters are slowly unveiling the story behind Med's death. The actors are phenomenal.
It's in it's core heartbreaking, but so charming and heartwarming at the same time.
For a story about a ghost being trapped between life and afterlife, it's very cohesive and there aren't any discrepancies in the lore as far as I'm aware.
Definitely worth watching.

It's sad, but it's also fun
I honestly skipped this show for some time because I knew it was always part of “saddest BLs” lists and I’m not particularly a big fan of ghosts as main characters.Yes, the show is sad, specially in the very beginning and towards the end. But “He’s Coming to Me” is also fun and happy in multiple occasions. The main actors work out amazingly well together. I feel like Ohm totally matched Singto’s acting ability. Chimon and Sing are great in this show. This series is a great example of how to do a female love interest in a BL. Everybody knows that Thun is not gonna end up with Praifah, so there’s no need to try to drag that romance until the very end. It’s also great how Praifah doesn’t become an insane villain just because she doesn’t get the guy. I also feel that this show did a great job balancing the time Thun spent with Med and with his school friends. The ghost friends are great too. The mom reveal at the end and the whole last goodbye almost wrecked me. Thun really showed Med how much he liked him by solving the mystery and allowing him to go onward. I doubt anybody watched the last episode without crying at least once.
Now, regarding the mystery. It’s not necessarily an amazing mystery nor a surprising reveal, so I’m glad it’s not brought up every 5 minutes. Like every show that has a secret at the center of the story, that’s the main reason this show is not super rewatchable from start to finish.

So cute
So I've been holding off watching this because I put it in my wait for October list since it's Halloween and all and this is so freaking adorable! Ohm looks so young, I mean because he is, but damn this boy can act! I thought it may be a little rough since it was one of his first shoes but no this boy is just oozing talent from the start. The story was so adorable and his friends where both funny and cute. It's an old BL but I am so glad I watched it. It will probably be one I rewatch when I need a warm fuzzy feeling. Was this review helpful to you?
It made my heart feel warm.
I just finished watching this drama and i'm still teary eyed as i type.I will be honest, at first i couldn't really get into this drama, i got kinda bored at the first episode and almost dropped it, but because it got so many positive reviews i decided to keep watching to see why everyone love this drama so much. i was not disappointed at all!!
I cried and laughed so much throughout the entire drama.
The story of Thun and Med is so touching and beautiful, i can't express how beautiful it is with words.
This story touched my heart in a way i did not expect it would.
I'm so happy i gave this drama a chance. It's worth watching!

The cutest little ghost love story
Okay....I was pleasantly surprised with this drama!!!! Even though the reviews are mainly positive, I decided to watch without much expectations....and boy was I wrong! Yaaay! Love when that happens. It's a short 8 ep BL that tells the story of a sad forgotten 22 year old ghost that doesn't have any memories of who he was except the way he died. He spends decades in the cemetery watching people visit their loved ones, but he never had a visitor. Never got food offerings nor have any knowledge of his life.
Because of one of the three reasons according to Thai traditions he can't reincarnate, but he doesn't know which one. So, there's nothing left to do but wait. But then, one day a boy (about 10 y.o? maybe a little more? not sure lol) visits the cemetery with his dad and sees this very old and forgotten headstone. He then decides to burn an incense and give him candy.
That was the day our sad little ghost Mes had feelings for Thun - not bf love because he was a child lol but he was the first person in decades that showed him affection - Thus visits Mes a couple of times before disappearing for a few years. They meet again when Thus is in college.
Thus decides to help Mes find out about his life and death in order to help him. Feelings start to develop and we get to watch them fall in love in the cutest and purest way! Adorable! Lets say heartstrings were pulled lololol
The plot was very refreshing, it's not a common BL story at all. I was very happy with the choices made in this drama, however I really wished the dialog was better written and the actors had a little more experience....BUT I still liked it lot! These are the ONLY reasons it wasn't a 10/10 for me. Would recommend!
