This is just that NOTORIOUS TEAR-JERKER series to me!!
This series is one of the best and everything about it is top-tier and unmatched. It is a refreshing concept about supernatural phenomenon about boy's love. This drama really had me going and the plot and the way it smoothly flow/unfold is just commendable. I never even in my wildest dream that this cute rom-com BL drama would evolve in deeper and emotional phase. It's like the further we go in the more the mysteries unfold one by one which is a crucial thing if u want your audience to get a grip on what they're watching. I just never thought that as the eps went on the more I found myself in a puddle of tears. Let me tell y'all, I've never ever had cried more than twice in a series and this one just wrecked me. The cast just really delivered and the pacing of the story is well-balanced.This supernatural phenomenon about boy's love is refreshing amongst complicated and lovey dovey BLs out there. I want to applaud the actors for serving what's needed in the drama especially Singto and Ohm. They really made me feel things and their chemistry is overflowing. It's just that whenever they are to deliver intense and heartfelt scene, they never disappoint. I also love that this series did not really portray Gigie's character Prai as an annoying home wrecking bitch we never needed. I love that her character is kind rather than being obnoxious who tries hard to win Thun over. The series just gave me lots of laughs in the beginning. They're like pouring humor at the beginning and then insert this emotionally raw scenes as the episode went by. One of the scenes that really left a mark on me was the funny scene were Thun and Mes flirt with each other while Thun teaching him how to use a bike. I thought it's just hilarious that some people were like "tf what the hell is going on. Just Thun enjoys playing with Mes and having fun with bicycle that when other people of thought. Ibalso love how intertwined the characters are to each other.
The first scene I've ever cried here is the last scene in an EP where Mes and Thun caught feelings and I was like "oh shit, I already know what's gonna happen". I just sobbed uncontrollably after seeing that scene. In my mind I was like "no, what'll happen if Mes moved on after discovering the mysteries around him? What if it all ended will Mes leave Thun alone til they meet again in the afterlife?” I was just feeling my thoughts in advance. The second part is probably when Mes starts to fade and Thun cannot see him anymore. I really cried and it's just me and my messy tears overflowing from my eyes.
I really love how supportive Thun's friends are and understood him when he admitted he loved Mes. I thought Mes's ghost friends were goofy and just keeping Mes company in his lonely years in the grave. I also love how the drama revealed how Mes died and we did find the culprit which is the old man who was after Mes's family's fortune. I cried so much when the moment strike in and their lips touched each other for the first time then Mes went missing afterwards. I was really unprepared that happened and the scene in preview where Thun tearfully put things in Mes's grave.
The one scene that I'm sure not only me thought this is just hilarious. It must be that Mes moved on and was surprised that he came back bcuz it's not his time yet. This comedic scene just really warmed my heart. I thought some are disappointed about the ending, well at least it ended on a positive note nothing more nothing less.
One of the things I admire about this series is the choice of music and its stellar cinematography. To sum it all up, it is hands down one of the best dramas I've ever watched. Let me say that this series right here just touched me like no other and undeniably has a special spot in my heart. Y'all did that and y'all slay!!! Good job GMMTV!!

A Heart Warming Story
I loved everything about this series, from the storyline to the characters, it was so perfect. Some episodes had me in tears, but because it was so poignant. I loved the characters feelings for each other, they were entirely believable. You might think a show about a boy as a ghost is going to be silly or tacky but that is not the case with this series. There were also some twists in the storyline that were surprising and added some additional drama. This is a story about boys' love, friendship, coming out, acceptance and more! Every episode was good. Really, give it a try, I believe you will be pleasantly surprised. Was this review helpful to you?

Interesting story without unnecessary filler.
This show was really good in many ways, especially the storyline. I'd never watched one like this though I know there are a few out there that dabble in supernatural. This series, though short, used their time wisely. I felt like every scene had a purpose and there wasn't much unnecessary filler. That being said, there are a few things left unanswered at the end. And, while it has a somewhat happy ending, it really isn't all that happy either. I don't want to give full-on spoilers, but basically nothing is really resolved and they leave as a "that's something we will have to worry about later" kind of thing.
I would rewatch maybe once or twice more to see if I could catch any foreshadowing, but that's pretty much it. Still worth a watch at least once, in my opinion.

I liked main leads but thought the chemistry between them wasn't that great. it felt more like they were best friends rather than they were in love with each other.story-it was not to bad the story but I think it could have been better. there was some scenes in the drama that didn't need to be in it. the story felt rushed near the end where it felt they tried to put so much into one episode where I think if some scenes were not in the drama they could have made the story a bit more exciting. (this is only my personal opinion, everyone will have their own about the series.)
I do enjoy watching ohm he is one of my fave bl actors but don't see him in alot of dramas for bl.
the acting was OK I did enjoy a good few scenes with ohm especially when you seen him show proper emotions he played those parts really well.
rewatch- I don't think I would rematch it.
but I would still watch both main leads in other dramas.

Seriously Underrated Gem
The plot is not very promising as I am not a fan of ghost stories but I continued watching because the two leads look cute together.I didn't expect it will hit me so hard. This is a seriously underrated gem and I am so glad I discovered it. The main and supporting casts are stellar and while the story is simple, the execution is flawless.
I'm not exactly a fan of Singto but he is quietly convincing here as the softie ghost, a huge improvement from SOTUS where I find him wooden.
Ohm is such a remarkable actor and he shines bright in whatever scene hes in. His talent is out of this world. He is killing it here. His monologue on the rooftop scene was so convincing I couldn't help but feel hurt for him.
The coming out scene with his mom was so natural and heartfelt that it will tug anyone's heartstring. Ohm succeeds in displaying a wide range of emotions so effortlessly that he's no doubt one of the very best actors out there. He deserves more opportunities.
I wasn't surprised to find out P'aof directed this and wrote the screenplay. He is good at reflecting the journey and struggles of being gay that is so relatable. I am a huge fan of his work because it stays away from toxic and unrealistic tropes. That ending though was a dud and completely unnecessary. Up to that point, the story was excellent.
Still HCTM is simply one of the best BLs out there.

Almost perfect but.....
Pushing BL in this series was never a good choice in my opinion. Most of the supernatural-mystery BL dramas that I have watched are very unique and interesting. They also come out as one of my favorites (you can check the list of BL dramas in my profile for your reference). In this series, those genres really stood out fantastically but failed to win my favor due to cringey comedy, snooze-fest school-related plots and irrelevant main-lead romance. Although I guessed correctly most of the mystery plots, but the plots are well-executed and almost flawless. The entire late-half of the series (except the last 10 minutes of episode 12) is very remarkable and above decent.Truthfully, the main leads could've been the best of bestfriends in the entire 'drama world', not as love interests to each other. I tried to feel the love affection but I can't. Prince-Praifah is much more emotionally bearable.
In the end, I could still say this series is pretty watchable. Worth my time.

Emotionally Endearing!
The concept of the series was what drawn me to give it a watch along with it being only an 8 Episode series which is not too long. The story talks about a boy and a ghost in the midst of a mystery to figure out the death of the latter and how their friendship soon developed into a budding romance that may be against the course of nature. I expected it to be a tear-jerker throughout but I didn't cry up until the end of the series itself.I think the casts were nicely selected and the reasons why I think so:-
[Singto] - This series has given me a fresh taste of Singto as he plays a lonely but gentle and adorable ghost character. A good departure from his dearly loved character as Kongpob in Sotus, it was refreshing to see him carry out a character. He was able to carry out the mischievous role while staying sensitive towards the emotions he has to portray.
[Ohm] - A talent that I've recently been diving into as he never fails to impress. Although I started watching his newer work such as Dew, Blacklist, and the currently running 'The Shipper', Ohm delivers his roles so well that going backward doesn't seem to have any negative effects. He really is a talent that calls for attention and I look forward to more of his shows. (Psst, still salty he wasn't added as a new cast for Gifted S2) ; In this series, Ohm plays a young boy that sees a ghost, and what started out as pity soon reveals the secrets hidden in his heart. His cheerful, positive, and happy character battles against his inner fears of being a disappointment and struggles with acknowledging his identity. A very well done portrayal of that.
[Chimon] - Another actor whom I've been binging on due to his spectacular performance in both The Gifted and Blacklist. Chimon as Prince is also a fresh take as we get to see his character shine as a supporting role instead of trying to forcefully prove himself to be THE BEST.
[Ssing] - Ultimately one of my favorite actors. Ssing's role as Khew is just hilarious as all his other roles in other series. He's still the goofy buddy that brings joy and laughter to every scene he is in. Never disappointed in his acting.
[Giggie] - Only having seen her once in 2Gether as Pam, I have not formed many impressions about her, however, her role as Plaifah was done pretty well. Secretly harboring feelings for someone unattainable while ignoring the one who is showering her with attention. My only hope is that she can practice more facial expressions. It's not bad bout it's not great either.
[Ampere & Gunsmile] - THE BEST! Hands down! I have nothing else to say except, "GIVE THEM AN AWARD"!
The songs are great! There is that whole old school vibes which introduce us to a new variety of Thai Songs. Now as to whether it's a show I'd rewatch again, it'll be a MAYBE. I won't purposely and intentionally go like, I NEED to rewatch this but maybe a few years down, I might wanna watch it again.

super cute
I'd half expected to write a mini review on how this series devastated me (as most ghost centric BLs tend to do) but hey hey! A happy ending? Even if it doesn't make full sense? I'll take it!This was a cute little show: ghost boy is stuck in graveyard for 20 years until ghost-seeing human boy decides to help him. It's a simple tale, and it works for this little show; my only issue is that the answers to Mes's death were a little anti-climatic, in my opinion. I feel like the build up and development of the story was wasted on the weak acting and writing of the 'big reveal'. However, other than that, this show manages to do it all: young men struggling with not only sexuality, but mortality; cute, comedic sidekicks who aren't wasted, and even a female non-love interest who isn't whiny or annoying at all.
The ending was a little bittersweet because of course we all want a happy ending, but all I can think of now is that Mes and Thun will live a strange little life together (where no one but Thun and his mother can even see Mes) and one day Mes will still disappear and leave Thun alone. It's still better than a depressing ending, of course!

Bittersweet ....
This was not one of my dramas, I went into this mainly because of the 2 main Leads, expecting to see this WOW factor, although I was not overly disappointed, and it was bearable to watch, for me the whole ghost love story was a little too much, and it did have this bittersweet vibe going.I loved the buildup of Med and Thun's relationship, it was so wholesome and heartwarming. As soon as Thun lit the incense as Med's grave I knew this pairing was special. Then you find out he can see him because Thun is a medium. Signed, sealed, delivered they will fall in love and be super connected. Med becomes Thun's cheating mechanism basically throughout this story, in school (watching Med walk around the classroom was hilarious) and in basketball, which I totally didn't approve of, cheating your way through life or obstacles is really not the way to go, and for a ghost doing it, for me that was a little unrealistic. The other thing that got me is that the show is really slow like super slow, the the development of the romance is SLOW .. yes .. really really SLOW and the 'catalyst' of the development of relationship, is not something that I would horray on, but the delivery is acceptable.
The cast. I've watched a lot of GMMTV series, so I had good feelings about Singto, Sing, Chimon, Gunsmile and Ampere before I started watching. They are a good fit for their roles. It's kind of interesting that Singto, Sing and Chimon - the gang - have all played a BL character before (Sotus, Slam Dance, My Dear Loser, respectively). They are all very enjoyable to watch. The girl who plays Praifah is a little stiff. Overall, though, Ohm stood out the most to me. He is really charming. His character is youthful but caring, and he depicts that perfectly. His smile is very bright and his tears shook my heart.
OVERALL:
Certainly one of the better Thai BLs (-ish?) out there and a good addition to GMM’s reservoir. The mystery aspect is a bit weaker than other dramas I’ve seen, so if you’re interested primarily for that, you may be underwhelmed. Similarly, if you’ve seen a lot of really intricate and intense mysteries/thrillers, especially Korean ones, then I don’t think you’ll be too impressed with this one. However, the story between Than and Med is really sweet and well done, and fans of these actors won’t be disappointed.

The basic story (i.e. the relation between a human and a spirit) is very common but the concept has been developed with a flavor of twist and turns. As I do not understand the Thai language, I have to wait for the English subtitles and there also the dialogs have been blended perfectly.

Decent BL, But Lacking in the Mystery Department
Re-posting because I accidentally deleted my original one from when it first aired when attempting to make an edit *crying emoji*STORY:
Well, I guess I’m in the minority here because I’m not completely fawning over this drama like many others are lol. That said, I do think this is one of the better produced Thai dramas, especially among BL-themed ones, in terms of acting, cinematography, writing, and overall production (though for reference I wouldn’t put it on par with, say, a well-written Korean drama with the same tags). The mystery and supernatural themes were a nice change from what we usually get in this genre, though for a while the mystery plot line seemed to disappear, only to emerge again full force in the final episode, where everything is revealed rather easily without any real sleuthing taking place (only some lighthearted attempts earlier in the series that didn’t lead anywhere). Other than that, the pacing is generally good (though I did find myself bored at times and wanting to skip ahead), the amount of filler is minimal (for which I cannot express enough how appreciative I am!), and most episodes ended with a cliffhanger that made me eager for the next one. Though only eight episodes, I thought that was the perfect length, as it allowed the writers to give us a complete, rather succinct story without too much distraction.
I did notice a couple of apparent plot inconsistencies that I just wanted to note. First, it struck me as odd that Mes (the ghost) was able to interact with some solid objects (such as sitting on furniture or using a laptop) but not others (such as touching a utensil or living person). I think the writers tried to explain this about halfway through, but the explanation felt like a less-than-fully-realized afterthought that still didn’t completely resolve the inconsistency (the same principle that applies in one situation should apply to all, no?). Second, there’s one episode where a character can’t see Mes at all, and then in the next episode she can not only see him, but she has an entire conversation with him. I totally understand what the writers were trying to do with the latter scene, but the lack of explanation for why she could suddenly see him (and wasn’t freaked out) threw me off.
ACTING/CAST:
Regular connoisseurs of Thai BLs will recognize the main cast here and not be disappointed with the skills they bring. I think a lot of viewers enjoy this drama especially because it stars Singto, and I’d say he was the standout, continuing to prove that he can act with the best of them. Ohm was a great co-star, and I loved seeing him bring some of that sweet charm he gave us as Frame in Make It Right, while also showcasing his talent for portraying deeper, more tearjerker emotions as well. I also have to commend Sarocha for her portrayal of Plai. Even though she appears to be a newcomer to the scene, she was fantastic and I can definitely see her getting a lot more roles. No complaints with the remaining supporting cast either—everyone felt natural and authentic.
