At first I didn’t expect to his series to draw me in as much as it did. From the music to the acting to finally the story, this is by far my favorite drama’s I’ve watched. It tackles so many things and Ohm’s acting in this shows how much he’s grown from Make It Right. From the first episode to the last, it kept me wanting to find out what happens next. The mystery of Met’s death to the growing affection between Than and Met, it will melt your heart and make you cry several times over throughout the episodes. I also loved the music in this, it helps that I can understand Thai and the music choices they used from the 90s really tied in wonderfully with Met. They lyrics ties into the story so well.

Story:
Even though I love BL romance (because that's essentially the only kind of BL there is among Thai series), I enjoy how He's Coming To Me decentralizes the romance. The story is less about the problems their relationship faces, but how they develop and maintain it while doing other stuffs in their life. I like that a lot. Of course, there is a fundamental issue - that Mes is a ghost. It also talks about coming out. There is also solving an unnatural death mystery. All of these are serious, heavy issues, but they were addressed in a simple, sweet, almost light way, so you don't have to worry about the angst too much. (You might want to prepare some tissues for the last EP though.)

Acting/Cast:
I love the cast. I've watched a lot of GMMTV series, so I had good feelings about Singto, Sing, Chimon, Gunsmile and Ampere before I started watching. They are a good fit for their roles. It's kind of interesting that Singto, Sing and Chimon - the gang - have all played a BL character before (Sotus, Slam Dance, My Dear Loser, respectively). They are all very enjoyable to watch. The girl who plays Praifah is a little stiff. Overall, though, Ohm stood out the most to me. He is really charming. His character is youthful but caring, and he depicts that perfectly. His smile is very bright and his tears shook my heart.

Music:
The OST in the opening title is one of the most beautiful Thai OSTs I've known. Very well-written, well-sung and well-produced. I would also recommend listening to the old songs in the ending credit.

Rewatch value:
Because I didn't end up falling in love with the characters in an obsessed, fangirl way, I don't really feel the inspiration to rewatch. Yet. (That being said, I think I will watch Blacklist, the next series Ohm is starring in, because of how adorable he is here.)

Overall:
I would recommend this to anyone. You don't have to like BL to enjoy it. It is an enjoyable watch that will leave you with a smile at the end.

My heart is just blown. Finished watching this excellent drama through tears and laughter, pain and happiness. I have watched quite a few Thai dramas and BL shows. This stands out as one of the best I’ve seen. What a nice surprise that was! The acting was far superior of any other acting I’ve seen in a BL drama so far. Mature, believable, touching. The chemistry and friendship between the two male leads felt genuine and believable. I have to say that Singto and Ohm’s acting was just beyond improved. It was actually so much more than I expected. I felt for these characters and lost myself in their story. Ohm has such a charm and a smile that is infectious. I really hope he continues to be successful and get more great roles after this. He could really be a big thing. Singto also delivered well and made me forget all about “SOTUS” who? I really recommend lovers of the supernatural and young love give this one a try!

Where to start? The story felt original, at least to my western eyes. A young boy who can see spirits meets a lonely ghost at the cemetery. The chance encounter turns into a long lived friendship, as the boy comes back every year to pay his respects to the ghost's grave. I won't spoil the story with too much details but suffice it to say that eventually the friends become roommates and the roommates become more than friends.

This is a beautiful story, shot beautifully, with powerful and unforgettable performances. As expected, Singto delivers a great performance as Mes, but it is Ohm who steals the show as the adorable Thun. The supporting cast is good. My only complaint is that there is some stuff that I saw coming way too early and I wished they had done a better job of keeping the big plot twists buried and not foreshadow anything... Also the actor who plays the grandpa was in my opinion the only weak acting but he plays a minor role so is not a big deal.

Episode 5 and Episode 8 have some unforgettable scenes. Bring your tissue papers because you will need them. I wish this show had been longer, maybe 12 or 16 episodes and a part of me wished it had ended a bit different. You will have to see it to decide.

Overall, this was by far the best BL I have seen, and two particular scenes in Episode 5 stand out as top best dramatic scenes in an LGQBT show that I have seen, right below a couple of scenes from the US version of Queer As Folk. I think everyone should watch this show, that is how good I think it is.

So, go watch it. You won't be disappointed.

I didn't give it a 10 because of the grandpa's acting, the tendency to spoil the twists with foreshadowing and a particular scene that some may like and some may not but I didn't. It is a scene towards the end of the series, a dramatic pivot that serves to bring forward the truth about how Mes died.

OK, I will tell you more but POSSIBLE SPOILER ALERT:
Ohm and Singto's acting was superb in the scene but I felt the supporting cast, and the writing was not up to par with previous scenes. Once more, it is a scene that Ohm totally steals and he is great but it reminded me too much of a Spanish telenovela. The other thing related to this that brings the rating down a notch is that the resolution for what happened in the past didn't seem to fit the actual crime. I have read this is typical Thai culture and family values. They want everyone to sing kumbaya at the end but it was irritating to me as a Westerner. Like why didn't Prai get mad at the grandpa, why was forgiveness so easily handed out?

So there you go, that's why it is a 9.5 and not a 10.

This charming and low-key drama is essentially a supernatural coming-of-age story about a young man who sees ghosts (Ohm) and the one he decides to bring home one day (Singto).

While Singto has already established himself as a young actor through the very popular Sotus series, Ohm shows he has definitely moved on from the dumpster fire that was Make It Right. Both actors put in fine performances aided by a script that's subtle and - considering it deals with ghosts - surprisingly realistic and sincere.

He's Coming To Me is characterised by consistent, sensitive plotting and its refusal to discount any characters. It is extremely well-written and even has a few twists and turns that are both surprising but also sufficiently telegraphed (this is no mean feat). It has not one but two well-developed and extremely real female characters, both of which are treated by the writer with respect. And it almost completely avoid the bad BL tropes that have plagued the genre since Love Sick. Despite the premise of the show and an ending that disappoints, this show is not about a ghost that falls in love with a boy but is instead about how we grapple with love, loss and identity through adolescence.

The Ending

When a drama is as coherent and well-written as this one is, if someone messes with the ending it becomes obvious. The show unfolded beautifully until about 5-10 minutes before the end where the whole thing becomes a mini trainwreck. You can almost see the tear marks where someone hacked off the original ending and stapled in a new, nonsensical version. This show could give kdramas a lesson in how to ruin a perfectly good drama by missing the landing. I'm sure a lot of people were fine with it (HAPPY ENDING!) but, quite frankly, it was dumb and almost ruined the rest of the show.

I'm not going to downgrade my rating because of the ending because almost everything else was executed perfectly. But it is jarring. Most if all it's stupid. I'll just pretend the drama ended as the writer clearly intended before this nonsense was pasted in.

This was very well done in so many ways. I've watched the leads grow up as men and as actors. Their chemistry is evident as they work through the mystery and their feelings for each other. Than's pals are perfect foils for him. More good acting from the entire cast of actors who I've watch grow up from boys into men. Without giving anything away, my sole complaint is the wig they put on grand father in the flash back scenes. Whoever decided on that item needs to be spanked. Other than that this is a well written, well produced and well acted story. Just a single warning. Keep the box of tissues handy for the final episode.

I must admit this is one of the best BL that I have watched and the first fantasy as well. Ohm really play the role so well, he really changed and became a good actor. I really love him so handsome! Singto also did a good job in portraying his role.

This what I like about Thai BL, they do not isolate their artist into one love team instead they explore their artist. Kudos! hope there will be season 2 and this time episode is much longer.Kudos to all behind the story to make this series possible :) I hope Ohm will have another project like this or something related to this soon.

The series started off smooth and somehow jolly. Per episode, it would unlock certainly some key points to Mes' (Singto) past and how he died. Not only does Mes' death discovery progresses, but also Than's feeling for Mes. Climax parts of the story would be on the second part of the series already (EP 5-8).

Also every episode, the tension rises within the conflict and would actually leave you hanging and wanting the next episode much faster (But since the series is finished, you can just straightly watched all episodes. lol.)

It is one hell of a rollercoaster ride of emotion I assure you. You will laugh, cry, laugh again, then cry.
Musicality wise, there are certain hits (sometimes past hits) from Thailand which they are featuring almost every episode. [There is a playlist of the songs used in the series which can be found at spotify]

Really recommending this series if you want to start watching Thai Dramas.

Really good execution of a quite simple, but emotionally rich story.

Starting this drama, I had no idea what to expect. The poster makes it look like a crime show, the synopsis breaks your heart suggesting a painful tragedy, but users opinion makes it look like a nice drama that can make you emotionally attached to the characters without totally ruining you.
While the romance is ever present and easily felt, it's not shoved in your face with every scene. We not only get to know about the forming relationship between Mes and Thun, but also about them as separate characters.

The supporting cast did an amazing job showing realistic reactions to a situation presented to them. They have some back story of their own, that is used as a driving force making them take action.

The best part of the show was definitely the emotional impact it has on you as you watch it. It has this nostalgic feeling that slowly draws you in and makes you feel like you are part of the story. Singto did an amazing job portraying his character and I must admit, I did tear up with him a few times.

That said, some things were a let down for me. Ohm overall did a stunning job, yet there were few instances where his emotional scenes felt… forced? I was holding back a sarcastic comment like: yes, squeeze these tears (That said, the rooftop scene was amazing). Some plot twists and the answer to the questions presented at the beginning were… questionable at best. And the ending… oh boi I was not crazy about it. Without giving any spoilers, I just feel like they wanted to have and eat the cake and it just did not work out for me.

Overall, a truly nice drama with amazing pace (one of the strongest points), realistic characters with flaws, simple yet well executed conflict and lots of emotional depth. You don’t need to be scared by the fact it’s a ghost love story, it will not ruin you emotionally :)

Cutest

I know I always say I wasn't expecting things to be good because most thai BLs don't always have a great budget and it's the case of this one. Even though it hasn't the best special effects the story is very interesting and Ohm is always showing his talent for acting skills. It was weird to me at first because of the age gap but since one is dead his age froze in time so I guess it's acceptable. Also the casting is really amazing and the twists really got me so yeah you should all watch it. .........................................

Best BL

This is an amazing story. An amazing cast. I've been putting off watching this, because so many people said how great it was and I was afraid of being disappointed. I am not! I have seen almost everything Ohm is in, I have loved it all. This is my favorite, followed very closely by Bad Buddy! I really like the chemistry between Ohm and Singto. Singto is another favorite. It was fun to see the twins in the same show, if very briefly. The friend group was great. This is going to be my new favorite rewatch as well.

severely underrated

I feel like this show deserves to be a ton more popular than it actually is. Like, I genuinely believe this should be considered one of the top BLs. Everything about it was great. The story was sweet, the messages were important, the acting was brilliant, and the music fit perfectly.

For the topic of the show being Med's death, this is honestly one of the funnier and more lighthearted BLs that I have watched. The writers did an excellent job balancing the serious and somber scenes of the show with funny as hell scenes that had me cackling.

The messages this show conveyed were also incredible. It used Med's death as a metaphor for other issues (which I will not mention because spoilers) that really hit home for me. In addition, they avoided doing the whole "I don't like men, I just like him" trope with Thun, and actually had him go through a character arc regarding his sexuality, which I sincerely appreciated.

I mentioned this before, but I have to mention this again: the acting in this show was SO GOOD. Singto and Ohm (especially Ohm) absolutely killed it. While I knew Ohm was a good actor from Bad Buddy, when I got to one particular scene (you'll known the one), I was absolutely blown away. I mean, truly, Ohm shines in this drama. Even more so than he does in Bad Buddy.

Just watch this drama. I swear, you won't regret it.
