Many differences between the two, but one similarity is:
Main character getting dragged into a world of blood and murder unintentionally.

Both of the series are written by the same screenwriter, the tone follows through all of his/her work so It's a big chance that you'll enjoy Save Me if you liked Strangers From Hell. Both works circles around a group of people that gets isolated from the rest of society and develops insane behaviors because of it, very gruesome.

If you liked one then I think you'll like the other!

Similarities:
-Both MLs just moved to a new place and are desperate for a place to live.
-Both places are rumoured to be creepy/haunted.
-Both MLs believe their studio has something weird going on and that their neighbours are at the core of it.
-In both, there are moments where the ML is very close to danger but is oblivious to it e.g someone standing with a knife outside his door that he spontaneously chooses to not go through - similar tense scenes appear in both shows.

Differences:
-some romance in TJACTN (but suspense/thriller is still the main theme)
-in SFH the ML really wants to leave but in TJACTN the ML wants to stay and find an explanation for what is happening
-ML from TJACTN is a med/psych student so his investigation is more logical and analytical than the ML's from SFH
-SFH only really focuses on Eden studio but TJACTN has more subplots (e.g. ML has 6 months before he might start showing symptoms of schizophrenia, he is studying med/psych to prevent this; ML investigates the life + cause of death of the previous tenant much more)
-in TJACTN people actually believe the ML when he says something is weird! He also has friends that help him
-Cha Cha in TJACTN makes some situations less serious compared to the constant tension in SFH

Whilst "Happiness" is primarily an apocalypse-themed drama it has a lot of similarities to "Strangers from Hell", especially in the latter half of the show where we start to see the true colours of the other residents in the building the two leads are trapped in. Both dramas have dark, mystery elements and engaging action scenes and you're never quite sure who to trust...

They are both thrillers that focus on the psychological outcome of the protagonists who are confronted with the society around them but mainly with themselves

Similar premise where main character moves into a new apartment and notices strange things happening. Both are Webtoon adaptations.
There are more key differences than similarities like:
- Strangers from Hell is darker and more of a psychological horror story.
- main character in Strangers from Hell changes for the worse
- Sweet home mentions monsters (of the supernatural kind i suppose), whereas Strangers from Hell has nothing supernatural, just weird and creepy.
- in Strangers from Hell, the main character doesn't have any true allies to help him, unlike the main character in Sweet Home
- you can probably watch Sweet Home with your light off, Strangers from Hell? maybe not so much

The main question of both: are people naturally born monsters or do their circumstances make them be?

It wasn't until the end of the movie Character that it hit me how similar it is to the drama series Strangers From Hell. In both the movie and the drama our main leads are a crime writers. Both of them gets gaslighted by the killer/s, convincing them that they are the same as the killer which gives them more and more mental destress as the story progresses. The movie and the drama both have this scenario that the two (the lead and the killer) become one, which causes the lead character to go insane. In both shows the story ends with a shot of the lead character in a hospital bed after the gruesome finale.

Both are psychological thrillers with a focus on humanity. The plots are totally different, but overall if you have enjoyed one you’re likely to enjoy the other. They both build around the perception of others and both protagonists have found themselves stuck in the situations they land in.

Dark webtoon adaptations. They both show the mental toll the army bullying culture exerts on otherwise sane individuals. The descent into madness plays out differently in both.

First I would like to mention that the merciless is a movie. But it is one of the most thrilling movies i have ever seen.

As well as Im Siwan has been playing his role in Strangers from hell as good or even better he played the MC in the Merciless. It is a dark and complex role. The movie too has overall a dark theme but the plot is quite different from Strangers from Hell.

Give it a try, I swear you shall not be dissapointed.

The main leads are very similar. They both have a very dark theme and are heavy watches, addictive and will make you want to binge-watch. Strangers from Hell has an alternate title that I've always felt suits the show much better which is 'Hell is other people'. These are both psychological and play on the 'seemingly innocent quiet kid/guy' trope who is 'not as he seems'. Strangers from hell is more 'current' for the time place it is set in. There are cats in both shows!

Both are about the main character dealing with their strange neighbors who have shady intentions. They're also both thrillers and a bit gruesome. Hard to differentiate what's real and what's not
