The first few episodes were a bit boring for me... but starting at episode 5... it became intense and I found myself concentrating watching it and looking forward to new eps every week. Story wise... its a different kind of plot and there's some twist there.
I though the twin sister was dead at first.. then the plot twist.. episode preview gave away the twin's fate. Since then I knew the twin was gonna stay alive.
But the background story of the killer was a little unexpected for me. They created a great plot for the killer. Tho would love to know the ending fate of the killer after he got caught and the 2 robbers.
I love how they made it a happy ending for the main couple and showed some romance towards the end. If there's none, I figure it would be a little boring.
Casts was excellent... they played each characters well. Moon Geun Young (MGY) portrayed both characters well.. Not many actress can pull "autistic" character well. But she nailed it. and Iove her main character as a detective.
Kim Sun Ho... I love his acting.. he's been great since "strongest deliveryman"... love his deep voice and his dimples... he portrayed the character very well...
The rest of the actors & actresses were also great...
Overall.. this drama is great.. love watching it.. will surely re-watch it after a while...
If you are looking for a light drama.. this is the one... just sit back and enjoy the drama..

Keeps you guessing!
I had doubts about trying this drama when it first aired so I didn't watch it then. However, I really liked Kim Seon Ho's acting in 100 Days My Prince and I like the crime/mystery part in this drama so I went back to try it. AND it was GOOD! Sometimes the episode felt a bit slow and not captivating but the mystery kept me going although I skipped a bit sometimes. And boy was I really shocked at the ending and how the case turned out! It wasn't as I expected as the writer keeps you guessing throughout the entire drama. The acting of the main cast was also solid so it was very very enjoyable to watch, especially for certain emotional scenes that made me cry. I really miss the drama now, especially Kim Seon Ho's smile. Glad I went back and watched this over break since I haven't watched a thrilling crime drama in a long time.Overall:
What I liked: Acting, music, script (most of the time), mystery, cases, comedic elements
What could be improved: script
9.5 rating OVERALL! I recommend giving this a try if you like a mystery!

This drama was excellent.
This drama is very simple but fantastic. The story is exciting and captivating, and the OST is incredible. If you are looking for a good Comedian drama to watch, I do not doubt that Catch the Ghost will exceed your expectations and make you laugh. But this drama not only brings funny moments. It brings sad moments as well, which made the show a rollercoaster of emotions. The first part of the drama is more centred on the comedian part, where the leads are trying to adapt to their new roles at work and also trying to work together as a team despite their differences and visions about how to solve crimes and help victims. The female lead is hilarious and creative. I liked how she was constantly pushing the ML lead to see things from a different perspective. And the ML lead is more Self-Centered and works more with logic than with emotions.
One of the drama's goals is to show the beautiful bond between the FL lead and her twin sister and show the public their story. More than that, the drama focuses on short stories as well, which made the drama easy to watch until the leads look for clues to solve the principal case.
The OST is very addicting and worked perfectly in every single episode.
Overall, I highly recommend this drama if you are into comedy and is looking for a good drama to watch, laugh, and relax

The show that will satiate your cravings for Action, Crime Mystery, and Drama
What a very clever writing and stellar acting! This, people, is how a drama should be. The amalgamation of all the top ingredients turned this into a masterpiece.Writing: 10/10
OST: 10/10
Cinematography: 10/10
Filming technique: 10/10
Acting: 100/10!!!
I may have boarded a different romantic ship but the ending satisfied me nonetheless. The FL’s character still doesn’t sit well with me and I kinda feel bad that she ended up with the show’s greatest character.
Overall, what matters is that the issues were all resolved and the story arcs were well-delivered. Makes me question why this drama didn’t receive the hype that it deserved. All thanks to SeonHo’s skyrocketing popularity, this show has been given another chance to prove how well-done it is.
My only concern though was that I did not really get on the love line. I understand that most people with the same situation would naturally create feelings for each other but my personal values did not totally buy the couple that was pushed by the Writer. To me, had it been ended by just a Senior-Junior relationship between the two, I would have understood it way better. However, just when I thought the pairing would leave me more what ifs and questions, the Writer brilliantly included such and portrayed how my worries aren’ worth worrying for afterall. Haha!
Thank you, Writer-nim and PD-nim for this masterpiece. Everyone shone in this series. I even rooted and cried for the bad guys. My heart goes out to everyone introduced and I’d take pieces of them where ever I go. You made me love taking trains even more. Really excited for your next project! Please hurry and come back to us with your next amazing creation.
P.S. To my favorite character, Ma Ri. I am rooting for you! You are not alone, sweetie. You’ve done great and you will continue to prove to everyone your brilliance and competence. Someday, you’ll also find your true love who would trust the depth of your love and loyalty. Someone who would fear to lose and hurt you. Continue kicking ass, Ma Ri-ya!
PPS. I came back to remove a point from my originally 10/10 rating. It didn’t feel right to give it a 10/10 when I disliked the FL’s character so much. The things she did were still unforgivable in my eyes. She’s just lucky she is surrounded by considerate, forgiving, and understanding people who were all charmed by whatever it is that they see in her.

The best part about this series was how humane all the characters were. Just because someone is a police or detective they always can’t be super enthusiastic about catching a criminal but can have thoughts for their safety too as they have a family to protect, or people who are always kind and taking care of others would not feel frustrated enough to leave at some point, all people are flawed, but despite these circumstances they again got up, brushed themselves off and did their work out of duty out of love.
Would like a Second Season with the same team.

UNDERRATED DRAMA THAT DESERVES SO MUCH RECOGNITION!!!
I'm sad that this drama is very underrated, maybe because of the main lead cuz they are not quiet popular. However, they are really a great cast. Moon geun young and kim seon ho chemistry is no joke. Even there's less romance but they're really look good together. The story is great, the plot twist is impressive. You can't guess who is the killer. I love concept and the ost. This drama is a good to try. No dull moment. You can laugh, kilig, and cry. I love the character of moon geun young here, she's really feisty and have the strong sense of justice. Also add her special capability with high spatial intelligence. This is the element that i love in kdrama, they putting special skills in main lead in crime /legal genre..

A light but well-made investigation drama.
I liked Catch The Ghost because of the the investigation case that was very interesting to follow. The comedy aspect keeps a sense of lightness and ensures that the investigation does not darken the drama too much. There is also a bit of drama that will touch you and made you think about the importance of family relationships.- Story -
Basically, the plot is about catching criminals in the subway. I like how they show how things work in the different divisions of the police before starting the main plot. I think it is necessary to put the setting first. I never got bored, the story kept me interesting from the beginning until the end. In my opinion, the drama is overall very well-paced. I was surprised in a good way because nothing was obvious, I liked the plot twists they made. Also, the cases are very well-explained so even if I watched the drama after a long tiring day, I could enjoy it without having to use my brain too much. I liked how the drama can be funny but also very touching at the same time with the background story of the main characters. The mix was really well-done.
If I had to say a negative thing, it would be about the romance. Don’t watch it if you want a romance, because it’s very very light. They could have add a bit more romantic scenes, but it did not bothered me that much because I understand the reasons of it. And there are still some scenes that made my heart flutter.
- Characters/Actors -
I loved the main leads. I could understand their feelings and have empathy for them. Also, I liked their clash of personalities. Go Ji Suk is more on the good policeman side who follows all the rules, and Yoo Ryung is on the impulsive side. It helps to develop their characters and be more open-minded. I think they had a good chemistry throughout the drama. Also, I’m impressed by the acting of Moon Geun Young who played really well two different characters. I could differentiate them easily.
Most of the supporting characters were really good too. But the character of Ha Ma Ri could have been better written. She is a bit annoying sometimes, and there is a good reason behind it, but at some point there is a change in her personality which seems a bit sudden and not explained.
- Music -
I loved the OST. It fits well with the drama and is very beautiful. I feel like some songs could have been used a bit more because you mainly hear them in the ending and not much during the episode.
- Conclusion -
Overall, I loved the drama. I’m glad I’ve watched it. I would recommend it if you want to watch a light drama that is not complicated to understand, and is able to make you laugh and touch you at the same time.

really good drama with a very strong message about society and caring for the less fortunate
this is a really really good dramathe cast is amazing and the chemistry between all of them is off the charts.. its very slow burn romance with a huge social message about caring for the sick and the less fortunate..
the message is really in your face and it comes at you in a flash and doesnt really let up..
the story is gripping.. but a lot of the logic.. is a bit flawed.. esp the police procedure.. but.. if u can ignore some of that.. it works well
it does lose its way when theres no cases to distract you from the main storyline.. but after all the "logic" gets done.. then it flows much smoother..
great drama
worth the watch

The lead actors performances are what really elevate this drama and make it better than what it really is. The way they capture the sorrow, the pain, the fire, the determination of their characters is superb. I've never seen Moon Geun Young in any other dramas, just a couple of rom-coms from her younger days (both of which are utterly delightful), so I have no experience seeing her in this sort of role, but when you watch her dig through a practical mountain of garbage while sobbing her eyes out because she's so desperate to find her sister, that can do nothing else but hit you in the gut. As for Kim Seon Ho, the only other project I've seen him in is Strongest Deliveryman (where he almost steals the entire show, his performance is so good), and he seems to have a particular talent for taking his characters and making them feel Real. And that's really why I finished this drama. There were a lot of things I enjoyed about the story, but nothing that would have kept me watching if the leads hadn't been so well-portrayed. The mystery, as invested in it as I was at the beginning, really struggles in the middle, and while the conclusion gets some things right, it also gets some things wrong. The case of the day format sometimes works and sometimes doesn't (although that's something I think could have been overlooked if the over-arching mystery had been a little better). And the biggest flaw/frustration of the drama for me was Ma Ri. She's unnecessarily aggressive toward the female lead and makes some Really dumb decisions in relation to the central mystery because of it.
This is a drama that does some things well and some things not so well. I would suggest, if you're looking for a drama where the crime/mystery element is really compelling and well-paced and well-written, that you maybe look elsewhere. But if you like dramas with compellingly portrayed leads, then this is definitely a good drama to watch.

And I had no sympathy for the majority of the characters. The main female lead was annoying the majority of the time; she was nice for three seconds. The second female protagonist? Just move on, girl.
Besides that, while the weekly case was not bad, it made NO difference in the main plot. They squandered so many episodes by doing nothing. I even thought that any case would help build the ghost case, but it didn't, which disappointed me greatly. They didn't give any hints about whom the serial killer was during the drama, and then they just brought a bunch of random facts and tried to connect everything together. Did it work? Not particularly well, but never mind.
Oh, and the last episode was exhausting. Many doors remained open, and I believe they were mostly playing us. Another thing that irritated me was the number of plot twists in the final episodes. I mean, did this roller coaster really need to return to the same location? Wasn't very nice, haha.
Finally, the drama could be easily cut down to 12 episodes. Anyway, it's not a bad drama, but the only way I could finish it was to skip everything. I'd give it a solid 5, but because of the actors' performances, I could tolerate it a little longer. Will I watch it again? Never before in my life.

Acting: Acting wise, everyone was good, nothing exceptional but really good quality acting by everyone including the support cast, especially the whole subway team and that disguising chief inspector( his disguises were really top class! Lol)!
Music : I don't actually concentrate on the OSTs much, but here that ending song had some really nice vibes!
