Good overall drama that needs a better ending
Story - The drama does a good job with dealing with death and other aliments and how patients and hospital staff deal with the pressures of life. We see tons of tragedy and we also see triumph for the staff of Tong Xin hospital. I enjoyed the characters and how they came together as a unit. I loved the friendships (i.e. Jiao Jia Ren & Gu Jia Ren, Wang Hang & Deng Zi Ang , Jiao Jia Ren & Lei Hao & Fang Man). The romances were are also great and unique to each couples' personality. Fang Man and Wang Hang's romantic relationship is fast-moving and loving. Jiao Jia Ren and Deng Zi Ang is slow moving but a mature romantic relationship where they know they go through various trials and overcome them together. Lei Hao and Gu Jia Ren relationship is sweet and encouraging. He worships the group she stands on. The only disappoint relationship-wise was that the directors did not show more of Jiao Jia Ren and Deng Zi Ang's relationship due to many scenes being cut to accommodate scenes that dealt with the pandemic etc. This couple is my favorite and I am disappoint but I can live with it. The drama's ending leaves us open to another season if they want to pursue it.Acting/Cast - The cast was wonderful and they were given a chance to show their acting range. Especially during the crying scenes.
Music - Great OST by Liang Bo called "I don't know 2020". I highly recommend it.
Overall - if you are looking for a drama mainly focused on being a doctor with a little romance sparkled in. This is the drama for you. I highly recommend it.

Fantastic storyline and beautiful couples
From ep1 till ep34, i totally enjoyed this drama. It is an outstanding drama in term of storyline, general knowledge on medical and acting skill of all the casts. At first I was trying out on ep1 and 2 but instead i continued till ep10 in 1 go. I am a mother of 02 teenage girls. This drama gave us a lot of extra knowledge in terms of medical treatment, sign & symptoms, handling of children and so on. Never i had such a drama specialised on child medical story. Besides the main storyline on medical, the romance line is SUPERB. Both the ML and FL really had a very very good chemistry reaction when their romance starts to bloom. This is where the EPIC of the drama folds in. I would like to compliment both the main leads and of course the other casts too. No doubt Chen Xiao is a married man and a father as well, but he still had a very attractive aura. Both Chen Xiao and Olivia Wang, my first time watching and getting to know them, their acting skills awesome! Well done.Was this review helpful to you?
A realistic medical drama which could have had a better ending
Overview:I’m really into medical dramas but I always felt that Korean medical dramas are more realistic while compared to other language medical dramas. But this drama proved me wrong. This is a splendid drama with realistic back stories. The different kinds of patients, their background, emotions were beautifully portrayed. With a light touch of romance and more into friendship, relationships, competitiveness; this drama portrays the life of doctors and how a hospital operates.
Plus points:
The stories of patients and their family history etc were so interesting and kept me glued to the drama. They have beautifully portrayed the relationship between the patients and the doctors. The acting of the whole cast was top notch. Especially the FL did a wonderful job. Unlike the traditional way, where the FL always wins in everything. Here, they have shown how the FL goes wrong in her job and how she improves with her hard work and becomes a better doctor. The entire story and concept is so relatable and real. Demonstration of ER at the end of each episode is so interesting and I learnt a lot from it. I loved the title song. It matches the drama perfectly. The music is also subtle.
Minus points:
There were a lot of unexpected flashbacks and back stories. It would have been better to show it then and there rather than going back and forth. I found it a bit dragging. 44 episodes are too much for this kind of drama. At one point of time, I found it so repetitive.
Conclusion:
On the whole, Its a good medical drama which shows the daily life of the doctors. It was more like a slice of life drama. If you are into medical dramas and if you want to learn more about paediatrics through a drama, do go for it!!

You Might Like It
You would like this drama if you like medical stories. This drama is excellent on medical stories especially base on children. It tells us about the interns, doctors and nurses and how they do there work thru long ours. We get to know several children and their fight from different illness and cancer. We also get to know how hard it is when a child dies from these illness and doctors can't prevent it, and how hard it is on the medical staff. The only thing this writer forgot was to really get to know the characters in the drama. We get very little knowledge of the relationship of the characters and the couples that get started in the hospital staff. The main leads were so cold to each other even dough they were suppose to be in love. It was not until the last few episodes that we even see them holding hands. They had no chemistry. But the story does not allow any of the characters to really have any chemistry. The only character that had some realistic scenes was (Dr. Wang Hang and the nurse) They really show great chemistry together. The actors did a good job in their performance. I think the writer forgot that doctors are human and we would have like to see the emotional relationship with each other.Was this review helpful to you?
Acting with Children
It is no easy task to make films with children, yet the production succeeded and so did the cast. Totally love the down-to-earth approach of the film, all the cast did a great job to bring alive their respective characters, the story is relatable. For viewers who are willing to invest feelings, sentiments, accept the strength and weakness in medical professionals, this is a drama to watch. The drama is aired everyday, it is 2 episodes a day, and I look forward to each of them. It is a drama that stands out among the many classical love stories, either modern or costume, I welcome the change.Was this review helpful to you?

There are many stories that I don't know where it happened, where the patient is from, why did it suddenly exist ,, until in the end I was very tired to think about things like this again for this very devastating drama
You skip the drama i watching it skip too! Sometime i enjoy the chemistry about cast but sometime very boring so i skip it or watching with 2x speed
very bad storyline, skiping, jumping scene from the beginning until the last ,,, censored scene ,, so what you are filming? all you censor! this is a medical drama! not a sex drama! ,,, sometimes the scenes discussed in the next episode are like continuing the previous scene, but in the previous episode, but it wasn't ,,only forming with flashback, sometimes it didn't even exist at all, it was only discussed through their dialogue, so what is is RADIO OR DRAMA?!
If you say its about medical stories ,this is censored, if you say stories about doctors' lives, they are showing in the form of a skip and jumping scene
sometimes I usually think what the producers and drama directors think, haven't they already started recording? Why does it have to be edited so tightly when their goal is to make a film to be watch too?, why do you have to edit and cutting it so far, sometimes the scene is not because of not filming but only not adding in the drama, and then at the last of the drama will you give a behind the scene scene as if they were very tired and worked hard on recording

If you want to say the good thing about this film is maybe because of the opening song or only because of the health information at the end of each episode, even though I think the relationship between the characters can at least be tolerated but the way they become a couple is very force,, although the cast is quite suitable
##dengziang&jiaojiaren,,, as if they get close through imagination,, If say they are together is because they get along every day,, He also gets along with others like this,,,how can they get together like this,, very perfunctory!
## lei hao & gujiaren,,,, You say that they are quite good match, but LH's method of chasing GJL is a bit bad. I always listen to her for fear of annoying her
## fang man & wang hang,,, This couple has a bit of reality, and they story i can guess it
#sometimes talking as if jiaojiaren already knows that she is supported by the hospital head, but in the next episode it is as if she does not know how to repeat this condition until 3-4 times

Avec Chen Xiao en ML.Drama tout à la gloire des pédiatres et chirurgiens pédiatriques !
Il se déroule dans un hôpital enfants, style Necker, en médecine générale, avec l'arrivée de 2 FL, nouveaux médecins.
44 épisodes de cas divers, un peu agrémentés par plusieurs romances slow burn +++ (ML chirurgien froid mais super talentueux + FL chaleureuse / FL2 amie d'enfance amoureuse ML + ML2 chef infirmier / FL3 douce infirmière + ML3 pédiatre).
Très bons acteurs, mais le rythme est lent et la story assez répétitive (je me suis endormie souvent devant les épisodes, malgré un casting de qualité :) :) Sans compter l'idée bizarre de 5 min. de médecine préventive (informations destinées aux parents) à la fin de chaque épisode + visage des enfants figurants floutée).
Les OST sont sympas et bien adaptés.
Je le regarderai pas à nouveau cette série, qui n'est pas addictive et a du mal à garder l'attention du spectateur jusqu'au bout.
