So before you think "OMG she gave this show a 10 even though it's so short" there is a real reason behind it. I promise.The story of ReminderS is nothing overly interesting or dramatic but that was clear from the beginning since it a) only has three episodes, b) is called Reminders c) is mainly to promote the actors and the upcoming third season of Love Sick.
I don't have a problem with that. Since it was clear from the beginning there were no empty promises but they delivered what they said. So don't expect real big drama or a major storyline going on. There is a direction but that's pretty much it.
The cast and the characters were amazing. The LBC cast played different characters this time but they added character traits that made the roles even better and seemed more natural for the actors, so it seemed more convincing. For the Love Sick cast - we came a long way especially with their acting. It improved a lot and I love that the actors still have the same chemistry as before and it did not suffer over the years. The Love Sick characters also took something like an advisor role in this show. It was nice to see them as a mostly stable couple trying to help others and finally getting a break from all the drama we are used to from the usual shows. They probably kept the drama for the upcoming season.
Also we have a few cameos, some expected from the trailer, some totally unexpected and a wonderful surprise.
The music is pretty much the same over all the three episodes but if you watched Love Sick with all your heart, beware of fainting and grinning like a fool ^.^
Rewatch, depends on when the future shows are coming out.
Overall this show deserves a 7 if you are a LBC fan, 5 if you are a general BL fan and a 10 if you are a Love Sick fan. Not because the story is that good or it is that interesting but because this show stays so true to its name, it's scary. This show is a reminder of LBC and LS and brings back all those memories. I watched LS as long ago as it can be and I really enjoyed seeing the characters I haven't seen so long, also LBC is not getting another season so we don't have many chances to see them together again.
ReminderS is a show to remind us of those great shows, couples, actors and music and to remember watching them and getting into BL and that's what makes it as amazing as it is.

A Fun Revisit to Some Favorite Ships
So just as an initial note for anyone unaware/confused, this is not a continuation of Love by Chance, which is why the characters have different names and for the most part different mannerisms (Plan and Perth seemed very similar to their respective LBC character counterparts). There are, though, some playful allusions to LBC and the fandom, which I thought was a cute touch. As for Phun and Noh, this felt more like a slice-of-life additional chapter to what we’ve already seen (kind of similar to the compilation Our Skyy) but not necessarily a continuation of their story either. Overall, this project was designed to be more of a fun treat to give fans.That said, I think fans of those shows will enjoy this little project, provided they keep in mind that it's its own separate work. It's great seeing some of the most well-loved Thai BL pairings back together, and New really is a talented and fantastic director. It feels like you're watching a crossover between the two universes (though, again, not technically so) which added a fun little dynamic.
In terms of plot, there's a story there. The main one is simple and relies on the oft used theme of misunderstandings and ensuing jealousy, but it kept me entertained and wasn't bogged down with unrelated filler. The secondary one gives us an earnest Mean trying to win over Plan’s moody heart, and I enjoyed seeing them act with different personalities. For consisting of only three, short episodes, ReminderS did a nice job of giving us a lighthearted, complete little one-shot, but I wouldn’t expect anything less from New.
As far as acting goes, I first have to say that Perth really impressed me with how far he's come since the first few episodes of LBC, and I think Captain has improved since his Love Sick days as well (and looked damn fine too, might I add). I loved the dynamic between all of them, as friends, enemies, lovers--they worked really well together which made this special all the more fun to watch.
The music--man I just have to say that the first and last minutes or so of episode one gave me all the nostalgic feels, and I was definitely here for it. Such a good move using those songs as the opening and closing themes! It really set the tone beautifully and having it interspersed throughout the other episodes as well added a really nice, sentimental touch.
Overall--really enjoyed it and of course recommend. You definitely don't need to watch Love Sick or LBC first to understand and enjoy ReminderS, so no worries if you interested in this one and haven't seen the others--totally fine to watch this one first.

This miniseries is good for fans to enjoy their favorite actors
What can I say? This drama is very short and there are some misunderstandings, which they talk about and resolve at the end. But, it is very nice to see the main cast again after watching LBC. I liked how they changed the characteristics of the characters. Only Mean, who in my opinion, stands out better playing characters like Tin who are more serious and cold, or Alex (UWMA), but he also did very well, I just don't get used to seeing him play characters who are fragile and sentimental. Now, Perth gets into any character with ease, it's very natural, I'm more and more impressed with his acting ability. I liked Saint's acting, in particular, between his characters, I liked him best as Son, who is more confident compared to Pete.Overall, it was good to see these characters acting together again here, after LBC. What I liked the most was seeing the characters of Perth (Pin) and Mean (Two) interacting together as friends, this detail was everything for me!
Let's get to the misunderstandings:
PinSon: They have a routine of eating and spending time together, even with the individual responsibilities of studying and training. Son wants to learn to play the guitar and surprise Pin by playing a song on his birthday and asks Noh to teach him. So far so good, but Son begins to be absent and no longer has time to be with Pin and rarely answers him, and makes excuses to keep him away so he doesn't find out about the surprise, but of course Pin will confront him and he will keep lying. Son cannot be honest and tell his boyfriend the truth, until Pin goes to his boyfriend's apartment and sees a note from his "teacher", and of course, taking into consideration the lies, he will get it wrong.
TwoWish: They like each other and even go out together. Wish knows that Two likes him, but he himself has a hard time being honest with his own feelings.
PhumNoh: They are already adults and have been in a relationship for a long time. They trust each other, but due to the rush and many responsibilities, Phum has no time to spend with her boyfriend, and only Noh when they have time goes to see him. Of course, seeing his boyfriend being approached and talking to "new friends", he will be upset, as he feels that he does not treat him as a priority, as he does.
Of course, these misunderstandings, can be solved with just a sincere conversation, we can also take something good out of it. So, that's the positive point of being a short Drama with only 3 episodes, these also being of short duration. It was not a story dragged out for many episodes, which is good!
Overall, this miniseries is good for fans to enjoy their favorite actors.

Bland at Best
Let's just hop right into this. What was the literal point of this? Nothing made sense, everything felt out of order, and none of the relationships made much sense. It was nice to finally see Plan playing a character that didn't whine every two seconds, and I can't believe I'm saying this, but they would have to be my favorite couple out of the three. They were the ones with the less amount of stupid drama or pointless fillers. Pin and Son got on my last nerve. Here's an idea, talk to each other? communicate maybe? Their drama was so pointless and could've been prevented had they at least said like two words to each other for the misunderstandings and situations. I didn't have any problems with Noh and Phun, I'm just not a huge fan of White's acting, so Phun always comes off as robotic and hard to connect with. Overall, I wouldn't recommend watching this, but it was just 3 short episodes (maybe why I didn't like it all too much), so the watch was really fast.Was this review helpful to you?

At first it was really nice to see all those actors together again with the same music of LS and LBC... but I have to admit, I watched for the Phun/Noh story. I though it was a comeback of my favorite characters in my favorite BL series of all times. But it was truly disappointing. The lenght of the episodes vary so much... first 30min, then 40min then 13min??????? I got goosebumps with the original Love Sick song (you know, Boy Sompob's Shake) and the rencounter of Phun and Noh. But the story was not good and it was so short, and this couple had so little time on the show. You know, Son/Pin and 2wish were in LBC last year with a lot of kisses and sex scenes... we wanted a little MORE than just a fight and then a hug. It's been 4 years since Love Sick 2.... we've been waiting for LS season 3... but we didn't get it. So maybe this was a chance to see them together again. But not, they were like supporting roles for the Son Pin story. Anyway, if you think you are getting a continuation, and extra story of Phun and Noh, then don't even bother watching this.

I just freaking love this playful side of Mean and the dramatic, spoiled Plan, and the dramatic, spoiled Captain (Noh) !!!
White is so beautiful, I really enjoyed seeing him again, and naturally Saint and Perth!
I really hope I can see them all again soon.
And i loved this storyline. It's emotional but happy and light.
And okay, I have re watched it several times, lol and still love it

I will try my hardest to watch my words and not give any spoilers I just finished watching RemainderS and I loved the mini-mini series. Seeing Captain and White made me LoveSick all over again that was a dope feeling. They still had that chemistry and nothing was odd. It was apparent they had matured especially in the relationship. It showed as they gave advice on better understanding on what it means to be in a relationship and things that happen.
The cast played off of each other well none of them seemed out of place or awkward it was a perfect meshing.
The plot wasn't super dramatic but it got your attention and kept you locked in and waiting for the next episodes.
The music of was a throwback from LoveSick it just took back to that series and you were reminded of a certain episode and you smiled I did.
Whether more episodes are already in the work or not I hope they have more or I'd definitely watch the show again .
My score for the show because it has something for everybody old or new to this genre 9.5

Wasted Screen time
Oh my goodness what on earth did I just watch?These 3 episodes and screen time was a real bloody waste of time, despite the fact the Mean (aka 2) was in there, and partly the reason I watched it .
This show is utter chaos! What happened? All the characters I loved, all the basic traits and connections between characters etc. were destroyed. There was/is no consistency with this show in pretty much any regards to the 'parent' shows, the characters, or even just as you watch the show itself (disregarding all your previous knowledge of the characters and past shows; watching it as a new show itself) it is all over the place and gives me a literal headache.
Each of these the couples could have avoided a whole lot of wasted time if they just sat down and talked, this drama was based on one big bloody Misunderstanding!!!!

LIGHT PIECE OF FLUFF
Very simple, straightforward little 3 eps series. Nothing new or revelatory here. 3 couples, each has a minor misunderstanding that somehow threatens to break them up and they all get resolved in 1 scene each. Not sure what the purpose of this one was. Feel like it was only created to keep the stars of LBC in the limelight and give the fans the 2 (or 3) couples they most wanted to see. I kinda feel cheated. Wish there was a real conflict to propel the story forward, but I have to admit that I was happy when they all got their happy endings.Perth is just tremendous. How does this kid do it? Those tears he just manifests at will are amazing. He makes me feel every emotion so strongly. Obviously, he and Saint (also strong here, as always), are comfortable together - and if I can read into the social media posts I've seen, they were in an actual relationship around this time so their chemistry makes perfect sense. The post where Perth wishes Saint well as he embarks on a new relationship is one of the most heartbreaking moments in BL ever... and it's real. I'm sure there were many reasons for the breakup, but I just wanted to punch Saint when I saw that and go comfort Perth. Dang, how I wish I was 20 and Thai. I'd propose right now.
Plan is basically playing Tin from LBC here, with very little differentiation. I don't think he has much range. Mean is pretty awkward. I wasn't a big fan in LBC, and here he just seems forced and faking it.
I don't understand why you would bring back one of the premiere couples in Noh and Phun without giving them a real and compelling story. They seemed wasted here. It didn't really feel like they were 4 years into this relationship. And my oh my how Captain has changed. I didn't even recognize him. The make-up, the lipstick. This is not the Noh from Lovesick at all. His acting is nowhere near as natural as it was in that series. And he seems to be playing a different character. Perhaps he forgot what Noh was like (or the writers couldn't replicate it). He still does a decent job, but doesn't capture the raw, honest vulnerability he once had. White is fine. I'm not a big fan, but he was understated and natural.
Not compelling enough to really recommend. Fine if you want a quick fix but overall just average.

This drama is for lessons to be learned in a relationship, each couple represents what you need in a relationship and i think the outcome is beautiful!
What it shows is that trust, communication, and time for each other is key to a successful relationship with someone you love. This drama couldn't have portrayed this any better.
While you and your lover may have two of these things, you need to have all three.

Overall, it's disappointing
TL;DR - White and Captain carried this show. The other two couples were just kind of bland and this wasn't long enough to give them proper character development (or characters at all, for that matter).The plot was a string of weak clichés I've seen a million times over in Thai BL dramas. It was predictable as ever and the main conflict was unsatisfactorily resolved in about 5 minutes at the very end. The Love Sick OST was a really nice touch, but it got very repetitive.
I just wish Phun and Noh had more screen time. I spent most of my time watching this waiting for them to appear again. It would've been really interesting to delve deeper into how their relationship has developed over the years and the struggles they've faced throughout. You can tell they've matured so much since Love Sick. So much more could've been done with this couple, but it feels like they were cast aside in favour of TwoWish. Their ending felt so inconclusive, and I was left wondering what they were going to do with all these unresolved plot points and how they were going to resolve their troubles. It felt like they were gearing up for a sequel that, clearly, never came to fruition.
Saint and Perth have some good chemistry and I enjoyed their scenes together. As a couple, they're believable enough - though Saint quite often seems a bit wooden. Regardless, Perth is an amazing actor who puts his all into his roles. His tears were so genuine and I felt every emotion in his words. If I were him, I don't think I would've been able to hold my laughter in during that singing scene at the end. It was so awkward to watch. I commend Perth for saving that scene.
As much as I tried, I could not get invested in TwoWish's storyline. Their actors really don't have enough chemistry, and I've thought this ever since I first saw them together in LBC. As a character, Wish leaves a lot to be desired; he has one mood and two tones of voice, and he seems extremely shallow. His actor plays him far too similar to how he plays Can in LBC. Two was likeable enough, despite being a pining cliché most of the time; it was refreshing to see such a gentle character. Most of the TwoWish scenes, I ended up watching in 2x speed due to how uneventful and uninteresting they were. This couple's ending felt rushed and forced and left me so confused.
In conclusion, ReminderS was a letdown. It was nice to see some familiar faces, but other than that, there's not much that can save this drama. As an introduction to 2Wish the Series, it serves its purpose - but in the process, it leaves the other couples in the lurch.
