After her revelation she starts to consider confessing her feeling to Hongyo, but not before she tells Kiritani the truth. Kiritani takes the news really well, though she is in denial about Hongyo possibly having mutual feeling for Terada. That is until she learns about their co-sleeping arrangement. Meanwhile, Hongyo is starting to become possessive of Terada and when he convinces her the lay sleep beside each other again, he ends up biting her on the neck, in retaliation to Hase declaration. And Terada gathers up the courage to confess her feelings to Hongyo but his reaction is just as she imagined so she leaves before he even responses. She meets Hase downstairs and he breaks down when he tries to play off Hongyo and Terada's relationship.
