As hinted in the drama trailer, there is a love triangle involved, but it’s not your typical aggressive fight for the FL triangle. Instead, it’s a sweet and respectful love triangle and of course, where the second male lead is selfless with his feelings. Even though there is a strong display of a love triangle in the previews, I was surprised and delighted that the drama downplayed it so it wasn’t cringey or over the top — fitting for the overall style of the drama.
The main male and female leads are sort of destined to be together and the way he helps her grow is enough to make you support them. Also his small displays of jealousy is super cute and puts a smile to your face.
Acting isn’t anything spectacular but as most of the cast are rookies, that’s expected. Each character was portrayed well though and I’m anticipating some of their next dramas (especially 小雨!)
Probably won’t rewatch but it’s definitely a good one time watch if you’re in need of a sweet and simple drama!

if you're looking for a cute and innocent, super light and fluffy c-drama, then this is it!! it's one of those super cute melt your heart dramas that just makes you smile about the characters and their growing love for each other. I feel like the plot line was thought out very well. Although, it's quite similar to other high school dramas where it's obvious the female lead falls head over heels for the male lead, their friendship progression to a deeper relationship really shows how much they care for each other. the supporting characters are all also really pertinent to the experiences that they all go through as kids, they learn how to grow up, mature and make important decisions. the female lead pushes to make the male lead happy and enjoy what's in front of him, while the male lead pushes the female lead to achieve her ambitions and goals. The super small jealously moments were really cute and just made you fall in love with the characters even more! honestly, would highly recommend if you enjoy this type of plot line!

Wholesome and heartwarming
This is the EXACT kind of drama I'd always been looking for — wholesome, friendship, romance, no frustrating evil scheming, and no dumb noble idiocy plot twist.It's true that the girl is the very typical bubbly, bad-at-school type, while the male lead is smart and popular, but the way they did the roles wasn't cliche at all and they were both super likable. Honestly, the ML went soft for the FL very early on, and the FL tried very hard at school, was strong, independent, righteous, and just downright adorable in her optimism.
Second lead was very likable as well and I was pleasantly surprised at how respectful he was of the FL in the love triangle. It's honestly one of the best-executed love triangles I've ever seen and although I wouldn't say I had SLS, my heart hurt for him.
The second ship was honestly amazing and I was LIVING for it. It's the perfect friends-to-lovers kind that's my favorite trope, and they were adorable from start to end, with the way they teased each other and fought, and yet knew each other so well.
The romance was overall pretty subtle, and I was surprised that they pulled off the "childhood connection" trope so well.
The overall drama is so soft, which I loved, and the pacing of the entire show was really good and there was no unnecessarily dramatic drama. The friendships were really great and I liked how they never fought over dumb things. The only part that kind of tripped this part up for me in the middle was when the other girl returned from abroad and the main leads sort of miscommunicated, and it kind of annoyed me that the two main leads never learned how to deal with their feelings and balance friendship — the lack of ability to get the two girls to co-exist was kind of problematic for me.
But ultimately they resolved things naturally and I really liked how they didn't turn any second lead girl into a terrible person in order to push the romance through and make things angsty. The same could go for any character and it was really refreshing how even the guest characters were pretty good people who might've gone astray sometimes — much more realistic and relatable. Even the families weren't overly frustrating, which has happened a lot in school kdramas.
I definitely felt super nostalgic and cried while watching this — I honestly connected to the characters so much and I will forever be sad that I never grew up in such a tight-knit high school class. This is honestly the kind of drama I'd rewatch over and over again in my free time because it just makes me THAT HAPPY.
And the OST is honestly so good. It took me a while to actually start watching each episode because I'd just replay the opening sequence over and over.

This drama will lead you to root for the second guy lead and the main girl (TRUST). I personally like Lin Xing Chen and Zhang Hao Tian together rather than with Lu Yi Bai. I think Hao Tian is cuter (ahahah).However, I rarely skipped the episodes. Even though the storyline is slow, I was able to watch the whole drama because Lin Xing Chen personally gave me cute vibes; I really like her personality a lot, as she is bubbly and optimistic, but a little bit foolish.
The storyline doesn't really develop that much until the very end, which I wished the relationships developed more to be honest. I like the music :')

Boring
Terribly boring with a flat storyline. There was little to no character development in the plot. No re-watch value. SML, ML and FL had no chemistry respectively. Sped through the entire story waiting for the climax but by episode 31 of 32, it became apparent there was none LOL.Hope someone reads this review before starting on this drama ? save yourself 32 episodes of poor storytelling

Amazing drama could watch it over and over again.
This drama is highly recommended by me. For me personally I liked the relationship between the whole class. There was no unnecessary drama between the classmates although some classmates did do some bad things. I like the way how the class works together and has such a amazing bond they stood up to get their class back together and to beat another class. Anyways the relationship between the FL and ML way very cute however I would want to see more development. The second leads relationship was really nice to watch but its a bit sad that the other second lead didn't get anyone however I liked the way that he was really respectful and accepting that lin xing xing was going to be with yi bai. Overall this drama is one of my favorite I could watch this again many times. Not to mention I'm addicted to the title song. I didn't skip any of it because it was really interesting the whole storyline is cute and made me almost cry at the end. :) + this drama also really motivated me to study and get good grades as well as chase my dreams which was a beautiful concept in this drama.Was this review helpful to you?
This contains friendship, family, sweet love, education and sports. It's really pleasant to watch. Definitely I am gonna watch this N no. of times.
If you are expecting sweet & cute school story then you are in an right way. I would definitely recommend everyone who loves simple cute love story and who are expecting a friendship story.

I would recommend everyone to watch this drama. I purposely watched it because or Rain lu. She's such an Amazing talent.

If you really Wana feel highschool vibes J's watch this drama a m sure you won't regret watching it. You'll thank me later. I've watched many highschool dramas but this one is a master piece indeed. I recommend all people to watch it. Sure you'll enjoy it.

Une déception
J'attendais beaucoup de ce drama. Peut-être un peu trop. Sans être un mauvais drama, il souffre de la comparaison avec d'autres dramas de ce type comme "When we were young" ou "Lovely Us" ou plus récemment "Love Forever" et " I don't want to be friend with you", dramas d'exception et qui m'ont fait vibrer (encore aujourd'hui!).C'est le drama classique avec des profils de protagoniste que l'on connait bien : le lead masculin froid et surdoué. L'héroïne, gentille, douce, ni mauvaise élève, ni bonne élève. Des personnages secondaires un peu fade et qui ne sont là que pour faire avancer l'histoire des deux protagonistes. Un passé en commun des deux protagonistes.
La réalisation, ce qui est dommage, est inégale. Certains épisodes sont soignés, d'autres sont mauvais.
La romance est mignonne mais n'a pas réussi à me captiver, du moins pas assez suffisamment pour me donner envie de regarder encore et encore ce drama avec des étoiles dans les yeux. Je pense que les relations ne sont pas assez poussées et développés, ce qui donne une impression d'inachevé.
Le drama pourra tout de même faire des émules car il reste simple, il n'y a pas de frustration qui pourrait nuire à l'histoire et cela avance plutôt rapidement.
