IMPRESSIVE
This is is how back-and-forth-time-travel-romance drama should be aimed to produce. The story is so genuinely mysterious... you can guessed but wont get it right. Yes. it’s that good.
Been a while encountering drama such as this. And the OST is impeccably matched every scene in the movie.
Casting is so wise and supporting. No flaws, everything is a perfect puzzle fits on frames.
Visuals are amazing...
Costumes, hair and make up maybe needs a bit of work. Just a tiny bits.
Loves it when a story tells like this, brings you the what if memory of your youth.
This movie is about how is every day matters. And you just have to be open minded and gives the best version of yourself. It left me with that impression.

A masterpiece
Today I finished this drama and I swearthis is one of the best stories I have ever
known. Many people don’t believe when
I tell them this but I am hopeless
romantic and this is a love story that
transcends time, body and everything.
With that the drama’s sub-genre is
psychological and you guys already
know how I love this genre.
On top of that every character is well
written and has his or her own story. It
has one of the biggest plot twist which
made my mind go crazy in the first half
of the drama cuz I had so many theories
and there was one theory of mine that I
thought it is correct and it was! And I
swear I have never been so happy but
the day I got to know my theory was
right I was like in cloud 9!
I was screaming “I was right!” like a
crazy person the whole day and my
mom confirmed that I am crazy person
lol. Although the series has one big plot
twist that only intellectuals like me can
guess lol but there are many more new
plot twists to it and I am not lying when
I say that this is the most creative way I
have seen time travel in dramas like
ever.
Kiss that kills is the second most and
this one is the first one. I am having a
hard time to explain how the drama is
so good cuz if I say a lot then I will
spoil the story and that is not at all
acceptable cuz the drama is all about
its twisted story with it's unique
characters with one of the best romance
and the OSTs are freaking good! Like
sooo good! Every single OST has won
over my heart.
The drama is about TRUE LOVE and
even though I don’t believe in love at
first sight I have to admit that I believe
in true love and I guess many of us
does. The first 2 episode of the drama
can be labeled as boring cuz they are
introductions but after 3rd episode the
story starts to develop itself.
I swear this is one of the saddest story I
have ever known following moon lovers
and 1 litres of tears. I would call this
drama truly a masterpiece. As I said
earlier that I cannot say much more cuz
it will spoil the story but please watch
this drama if you are into true love, time
travel, mystery and psychological things.
Although the drama was very famous
in Taiwan it is not popular internationally
so please watch it you will not regret it.

It appear to be a remake of the movie First Time.
It appear to be a remake of the movie First Time from China in 2012. Oh well, I love the lead actress, plain and simple. If you like her as well, this is your movie. So , this review has to be a 500 character essay? There is not much more to say, other than watch this movie, if you like this actress. She has an acting personality that grows on you. This movie gets a little convoluted, but does come together somewhat I guess. Again, I emphasize somewhat. Now wonder some of the comments and reviews are so lengthy. Where are we at humm. Okay so another 150 character to go. Let see, I enjoyed the cultural changes and contrasts between the characters and settings. I am somewhat of a person that enjoys movies more than the average person. All the more I like this actress, so my opinion might be a bit to bias towards her movies. Was this review helpful to you?

Gosh, I don't even know where to begin with this drama. It hadn't been on my PTW list long before I decided to watch it because it sounded really interesting, to be honest, and I was not disappointed. This drama was written so freaking well if it wasn't for the time travel aspect involved I would have sworn it was based on a true story. The acting was simply mindblowing to start with. Every single time Huang Yu Xuan cried for her missing boyfriend my heart broke for the poor woman and I wanted to give her a hug and Alice Ke played the role so damn well you have thought she really was mourning the loss of her boyfriend for reals for reals. She truly conveyed the feelings of someone who's completely lost and doesn't know what to do without her love beside her. Every single thing she did in the drama after her boyfriend went missing was relatable. She mourned him, visited their favorite places, cussed him out, missed him, cried for him and the list goes on. Then she even upped her game some more when she started playing Chen Yan Ru. God my heart especially broke during the very last scene when she truly wanted to die because she was just tired of it all, to be able to play two different characters in the same drama yet excel at making them both come to life is not something that's easy but she managed to do just that and she did it amazingly. I never connected with a drama character before as I had with Chen Yan Ru at that moment. The only character I had ever connected with like that was Go Eun Chan in Coffee Prince. All the characters in this drama were written so very well you could personally connect with them and their struggles. The chemistry between not only the leads but just the others as well was just outstanding, they all came together and you could truly believe they knew each other and were close in real life. The story was absolutely beautiful, well thought of, so very well written and acted out, the scenery gorgeous and the OST just breathtaking. It's incredibly hard to come across well-written dramas now but this one truly took the cake and will forever be on top five list. Was this review helpful to you?

One of the best Asian Dramas I've ever watched.
This drama starts out a bit confusing, but in a good way, and by the second or third episode, you figure out what is going on, which sucks you deeper into the drama's plot. Honestly, this drama deserves a 10...right up until the last ten minutes or so of the last episode. Since endings are so integral to the experience of drama watching, I had to deduct a half of a star for two reasons (spoilers ahead):One: We never get a clear resolution to what happened to the young version of our killer. While Chen Yan Ru lives on, so does our child psychopath serial-killer-in-the-making. Did his family get him the help he needed early on, or did he keep on killing cats until he escalated to murdering humans? While it is clear having his older self possess his big brother's body and teach him how to kill fueled his murderous desires, he was already on that path to begin with, so resetting the past wouldn't clearly put the killer-to-be on a new path to redemption. But if this unresolved plot-line somehow opens the door for a sequel where Xie Zhong Ru still becomes a serial killer in the new timeline and coincidentally sets his eyes Huang Yu Xuan as his next victim, I'm here for it because...
Two: We do not get a nice wrap-up to Huang Yu Xuan and Li Zi Wei's romance. Yes, we're left with enough that we "know" that they will end up together somehow, but I want to know how. Did Li Zi Wei somehow keep in touch with the young Huang Yu Xuan, who fostered a crush on him for years until one day he eventually saw her as a woman and feel kind of skeevy about it because of their age difference, or did he randomly run into her on the street when they were 28 and 38 and mistake her for his childhood friend Chen Yan Ru? I just wish the ending had been: young Huang Yu Xuan and Li Zi Wei on moped, followed by a montage of Huang Yu Xuan and Li Zi Wei meeting and dating in the future, that then transitions into older Yu Xuan and Li Zi Wei riding on the moped.
Overall, though, this is an amazing drama, one of the best I've ever watched. I just wish the ending had been as tight as the rest of the drama's storytelling.

Best romance series I have ever watched.
If you haven’t watch this, you have missed out on such a good show. Everything about this show is amazing, from the second that the female lead appeared on the scene, her acting was just chef kiss. She knew how to switch between a student with a completely different personality to a working adult. She acted both roles so well, the male lead was great as well. The storyline is a roller coaster, it has so many happy and sad moments all mixed up. It evoked so much emotions from me and this is the first time I have ever cried for a drama series. There’s also a lot of plot twist, some that you as a watcher would have never expected it. I also wish that the 2nd male lead will have a good ending, he was such a sweet boy.The ending was so heartbreaking, I watched it because of the ost and I was expecting a happy ending but no it broke me into half. Man, I love the series so much. I just wish that Huang Yu Xuan and Li Zi Wei will have a happy ending in the upcoming movie.

DESERVES THE BETTER RECOGNITION
April 2, 2021I LOVE THIS TAIWANESE DRAMA. One of my favourite for sure. It’s so good and well written. I cried so hard on so many occasions as I felt so empty and lonely watching the astonishing chemistry of the leads. From time travelling back to the present and past. Though I must say I still have a lot of unanswered questions.
Like why are they connected. It’s not like the characters are the reincarnated version of each other since in 90s timeline our 2019 leads are still children... They showed how Yu Xian met Li Zi Wei as a toddler and Zi Wei is already a highschool student at the time.
I CRIED BUCKETS AT THE END HOW CAN THE WRITER MA BE SO CRUEL. I feel so sad and empty after watching this. I can’t imagine if this shit happens to me.(Which I know will never happen but still) I AM STILL SO SAD ?
I just hope the Huang Xu Yuan and Li Zi Wei meet again in the future. I don't care about the age gap. I just want them to find each other again in fall in love. I guess I am happy that the highschooler Li Zi Wei met the child Huang Xu Yuan. I wish there is more episodes to wrap it up.
I need a second season in the future in 2019 timeline where the Li Zi Wei who is in his late 30s or early 40s meet Huang Xu Yuan who is in her late 20s or early 30s.
Argh, THIS DESERVES THE BETTER RECOGNITION. IT IS WELL WRITTEN AND THERE WAS NEVER A DULL MOMENT. I AM SO SAD SINCE I FEEL SO EMPTY RIGHT NOW....

WATCH IT YOU WILL NOT REGRET IT!!!!
The story is very complicated but intriguing. I absolutely loved it but if you don't like shows that make you cry I wouldn't recommend since it had me bawling since the first episode .The chemistry between the leads is amazing. I loved how the you could definitely tell that it was a different person when the female lead traveled back in time. The acting was *chefs kiss. The OST for the drama is also amazing. One thing I will say tho at first I was really confused lol but like as the episodes went by I understood the storyline so if your watching the show and don’t understand it please don’t drop it cause you will get the storyline even if it takes a few episodes. Watch the show you won’t regret It ☺️Was this review helpful to you?
Someday or One Day, tells a story in a non-linear fashion, thus making things hazy and confusing, yet still wraps it up with the viewers fully understanding the story. Each second is very special in this drama, it is not draggy, non-predictable and really wholesome. It wraps it up by making each character have their own little conclusion, each persona have their struggles overcame with.
The OST, "Miss You 3000" also connects very well with the story, it is quite uncanny actually, seeing as how it manages to spark up the correct lyrics on the correct scene.
It amazes me how this drama is very tactile, there are just too many details too cover to remember each one, but what I can assure you is, no matter the going; please finish the drama, as you'll never regret it.

Masterpiece
I was honestly not expecting much from this drama because I rarely find myself enjoying “popular” and high rated dramas because I always have unrealistically high expectations for them. Even though I wasn’t a big fan of the drama initially because the pace was a little too slow for my liking, the characters grew on me, and the thickening plot was soon keeping my interest very well despite the fact that the pace was staying consistently slow. At one point, I actually started enjoying the slow pace because it fit well with the melancholy yet incredibly healing mood. By the end, I was so emotionally invested in the drama that I had to put it down for a little while because it was destroying me emotionally (in the best way possible!) and I had to distance myself before I had a breakdown. The music was absolutely phenomenal, and I think I have listened to the full version of the theme song at least 30 times since I started watching this drama. It’s hard to put into words how much this drama impacted my life. I can’t say I hated any character because they all had good reasons to do what they did (except the psychopath maybe lol). There were no stupid fights, breakups, misunderstandings, and other relationship drama that I oh-so-despise. Overall, this drama is an absolute masterpiece and it deserves all the good ratings and reviews that it got. I’m so glad I decided to watch this gem!Was this review helpful to you?

Every episode of this drama really kept me going. There wasn't any unnecessary parts. It was exciting. It had plot twists I never expected. Now, usually dramas that involve time travel are in for a great risk. There are usually loopholes that could heavily affect my opinion on the show. This one didn't fall for that. Or at least there aren't any obvious loopholes. (I haven't found anything though...yet) But it doesn't matter. This drama had the perfect recipe to become a remarkable show.Witty storytelling. Distinguishable and memorable main characters. Wonderful chemistry. Plus it knows where its going. It didn't fall apart and get lost in the middle. Instead it became more refreshing by dividing it into different substories so that it can be followed easier. First part is when Huang Yu Xuan discovers she can time travel and her journey in both past and present. The second part is when Li Zi Wei discovers he can time travel and we are now shifted to all the scenes in part one that was left unexplained, with more exposure on the side of Li Zi Wei/Wan Quan Sheng. Third part is when we find out the doctor can time travel and the whole Chen Yun Ru's death plot. There are plenty of parts that could use deus ex machina but it didn't. I really applaud this drama for that. Incredible. Wonderful. There's really nothing more to say except that this drama is very well done.

NEVERTHELESS, as soon as we're done with the (a bit) dragged introduction, the story really starts to pick up pace. The progress is a bit slow and tends to confuse you to no ends but when you start learning stuff and it starts to make you think, you find yourself unable to stop, craving for more.
I've watched a few tw and cn dramas and they usually tend to have very engaging beginning, somewhat horrifying middle and then semi-okay ending. That wasn't the case here. It might have started slow but it continued to grow and kept you on the edge of your seat til the end.
The very ending MIGHT could have been a bit different to make it more powerful but it was still okay. The story had a complete resolution and it was epic. Screenwriters - I applaud you for creating a heartwarming, smart and thrilling story.
Should you watch it? Yes, definitely yes.
