Awwww. This was such a great movie. I love it when expectations are delivered well!

A great storyline, solid cast and some incredible romance is all I look for when I want to watch a romantic movie and this one had it all. I am a sucker for cuteness along with hotness which the couple in this movie possessed. :D

I have been repeatedly let down in the past by a lot of movies- be it lack of romance, excessive melodrama, lack of decent kisses/chemistry between the leads or a sad ending. However this one did not disappoint me. The leads acted well, had good chemistry and were very pleasant on the eyes. The movie has a few sad parts but it's not too overwhelming. The romance was sweet without being cheesy and the humor was good without being over the top. Every thing was just in the right amounts.

Sometimes it's good to see the girl doing the chasing than the guy. It wasn't done in a horrible way. It was just kind of sweet and the guy was too. I loved the certain innocence their love had. I liked their kisses as well. There is also a minor side romance which was also cute. The only thing I didn't like was that a couple of things in the story were not required but it seemed like they were included just to make the movie longer.

The best part was definitely the ending. It was cute and reminded me of Bollywood movies. LOL. So I'd recommend to every person who wants to watch something light with a bit of seriousness. It sure won't disappoint.

To Be Honest: I watched this movie because of Han Hyo Joo.

Story Line: It may not be the most original story but the performance is well executed which makes this movie a good balance of light heartedness and serious drama. The overall pace is good. The romance and the way the writer intertwined serious drama with light hearted comedy is a great catch for the movie. It makes it an enjoyable experience.

If you are looking for:
A. Cute and funny romance
B. A crazy and hilarious female lead
C. A stubborn, hot-headed and rude male lead
D. Action including Fire fighters and teamwork
E. A bit of drama and curing each others ‘incurable’ scars

Then this is a movie for YOU.

Acting/Cast:
I’d like to point out the great acting from Han Hyo Joo and Go Soo. Actually one of the movie's strongest points goes to the acting.

This is the first time seeing Go Soo in a movie and he gave a good impression, i thought that he was expressive through his actions instead of words as his character isn’t one that voices his real thoughts and that is what made the movie that little bit deeper and special.

Also the second leads were pretty cute and animated the movie. A special remark for Kim Sung Oh because i remember him in ‘secret garden’ and ‘the man from nowhere’ in which his performances were noticeable and i really want him to get a main lead as he is a pretty good actor and deserves it. Each and every one of his roles always surprise me as they are always different and each time he pulls through it perfectly.

And obviously Han Hyo Joo was beautiful and it was great to see her on screen as a bubbly, strong willed and hilariously persistent character.

Music: i don’t really remember much but i did notice one tune. It was a bubbly cute music to suit the cuteness of the finale.

Overall: A well written script with the addition of a great cast with a crazy and hilarious female lead and a macho, stubborn and hot-headed male lead with the action of the hilarious fire fighter team. I’d say you are set up for a great and lovable experience, well worth the watch and re-watch.

Hope you enjoy and hope this was helpful :D

I've sort of taken to task of watching all of Kim Sung Oh's work given he's always a great supporting actor and I'm hoping at some point he's a lead. No matter what he is in from a drama to a film he stands out as a great character actor.

I found this film to be very good where you have two unlikely people coming together and overcoming their issues. There is a great sense of camaraderie between the firefighters and it's interesting to see their relationships come together.

Overall I'd watch this again and the ending does not disappoint.

A cute romantic dramedy about a foul-mouthed firefighter & a good-natured, down on her luck doctor who fuss & fight until they fall in love. The story is pretty familiar (read: unoriginal), a bit far-fetched in parts even, but I enjoyed every minute of it.

Generally speaking I dislike silly romcoms that have no substance whatsoever. While it's no secret that I love the romance genre, I prefer it packaged with a lot of thought-provoking, heartfelt drama. The movie Always with So Ji Sub & Han Hyo Joo (who also stars as the female lead in this movie) is a good example.

Love 911 fell somewhere in the middle of this preference. It had the usual tropes of a light, brainless romcom, but with an undertone of melodrama. I would've preferred just pure drama (without the melo), but I'll take whatever I can get.

If you watch this genre as much as I do, you'll know Korea doesn't make enough films like Always & Love 911. That is, dramatic romances with happy endings. Movies in this genre are more times than not tragedies and or stories about morally corrupt, cheating spouses that will squash even the slightest of belief in love you ever allowed yourself to entertain.

Love 911 is, therefore, a nice change of pace from all that dreariness. The couple here had amazing chemistry & I had fun watching them get under each other's skin.

The male lead, Go Soo, was like ... wow! Soooo cute! When he allowed people to see the real him, he had this boyish gentleness to him, but in the next breath he could be ALLLLL man! I loved it! And he wasn't too bad of an actor either. He was able to convey an array of heart stirring emotions, even while you wanted to slap him for being a boor. Moreover, I'm sure his reason for being prickly is bound to win over most women! Han Hyo Joo was just as much a delight to watch as she was in Always. So far she hasn't disappointed me in anything I've seen her in.

This is a must watch for any romance fan. It has all the right ingredients: nice, if unoriginal plot, a very likable, sweet female lead, your typical brooding alpha male hero with the heart of gold & man candy galore. Could the makers of this movie be a tad more creative with the story? Sure, but overall this was a whole lot a fun to watch & re-watch.

My second Go Soo anything! If you want to watch a really great romance, this is it. It will have you laughing, sighing, and crying! Han Hyo Joo's Mi Soo starts off kind of an ass but she morphs into a lovable, fun woman in love. Go Soo's Kang Il potrays very well a man who lost his wife and is still lost. All of the supporting characters are great additions. And the music is a variety from the old to the newer songs. If you are looking for a pretty decent romance, this is one.

I admit that the beginning was a little slow and heavy but you soon understand why.
The script is well-writen and you become attach to the characters as their relationship between one another grows.

It is also a great movie because, despite the sterotypical handsome firefighter falling with a beautiful doctor image, the actors managed to make them alive in their own way as true humans.
Of course, it's an ordinary story couple and this mix is really awesome to watch.

You'll also like the fact that even in the most dangerous places, the minds are really light-hearted and funny. And that's what will make you fall in love with this movie because the script is detached from any fantasies but stays down-to-earth and manages to tell a love story in a simple but pretty way.

ENJOY, like I did!

Man Korea is just so good at churning out movie after movie about love, life, death and death scares. This can be said to be one of those types of movies, just in a slightly different context - that of rescue crews and doctors.

I only watched this movie for Go Soo and Han Hyo Joo, who are both gorgeous people. And naturally, gorgeous people will fall for each other.

The premise of how Han Hyo Joo's character comes to work with Go Soo's character is slightly far-fetched in my opinion, but well, that's how we get to the important part of the story. There are some funny moments in the beginning part of the movie, but it later turns quite serious and reflective.

Overall, a fair watch that will not haunt you or stick in your brain for a long time afterwards.

Story: The story revolves around firefighter Kang IL (Goo Soo), who lost his wife and doesn't care about anything anymore, and Doctor Mi Soo (Hyo Joo) who doesn't like to be proven wrong (even when she is). When she fails to admit that one of her patient is dying, she is forced to quit her job and that is when Fate brings them together when she has to do community service at the fire station where Kang IL works.

Acting: The Movie is very funny and romantic. There acting is as if this had happened in real life, their chemistry is just so real that it makes you shed a tear whether if it's because of a sad scene or a funny scene.

What I like about this movie is that firefigther Kang IL doesn't let his past torture him, he gives himself a chance to fall in love again, and Doctor Mi Soo doesn't run away from her problems, she faces it. It's not one of those movies that the main character can't be with each other just because their traumatic past or their never ending problems.

This movie takes the gender roles and flips them. So often you see the male lead chasing the female around and trying to win them over, but in 'Love 911' this is flipped. You have a blunt, straight forward female doctor taking the lead. While on the other hand you have a detached, damaged male lead with a past that he can't overcome or forget. There is no "love-at-first-sight," which is extremely refreshing coming from a romantic comedy.

Both Go Soo and Han Hyo Joo do fantastic jobs in the film. The supporting cast is also funny and the side stories are fun to keep up with.

The only downside is that the story isn't too unique, but it is still enjoyable to watch.

When you watch a great movie such as this, I don't mind being generous with my ratings :D What I thought would be a feel good romantic comedy flick turned out to be so much more, and I'm not complaining. I loved every moment of this movie, almost didn't want it to end! I thoroughly enjoyed the novelty of the characters and the work that the actors did.

If you read the synopsis, it might seem like one you've read or seen before, and it is, objectively. But the manner in which the story was written and told, it was absolutely delightful to watch. Everything felt just right and nothing seemed to be rushed, the character development, the interactions, emotions, incidents that happened - everything was timed right. And the characters.. I just loved them! The character of Go Mi Seo was so refreshing to watch!

The casting was spot on. Everybody seemed to be doing a great job with their respective roles. Han Hyo Joo and Go Soo were adorable together! Amazing chemistry. I discovered Go Soo in this movie, and I think I'll stalk him a little after now :D

I cannot really focus on the music on movies unless something really stands out, in this case two songs stood out - Along Again by Gilbert O'Sullivan and the track that plays at the end of the movie (I LOVED that one). I don't recall anything else, which is good as well because it must have blended in well with the scenes :P

Absolutely worth rewatching! I'm so happy I have such movies to watch again with friends or even alone. A thoroughly enjoyable experience while watching the movie, it made me laugh, it made me smile, it made me wince, I might have even teared up a little once - in short, it touched my heart. I'd definitely recommend this to those who haven't seen it already!

Most self absorbed female lead I've seen in a long time

I don't usually write reviews for movies but this one made me so mad. There are no redeeming qualities for the female lead. She literally only follows the male lead because she's trying to save her a$$ at work. Clearly she's a bad doctor since in the very first scene she's judging the family member of someone under her care for the way they look. She even only starts treating the patient because she wants to get brownie points from the higher ups. She pays no attention to the concerns of the family member and misdiagnosed the patient because she thinks she's above reproach.

I don't understand the high ratings for this movie. The only reason she is a doctor apparently is to make money because from the get-go she's acting like she doesn't care. She only cares about not being suspended because it will derail her career.

The acting was great by everyone but I just can't get behind this level of self absorption from someone who is supposed to be saving lives. Unless they are the villain but this was our leading lady in a romance!

This movie won’t blow you away but it’s a good one time watch if you like Han Hyo Jo This 2 hour movie cannot have the same depth of character that a sixteen hour drama can develop.
The scenes are selected and character development can only go so far. With that being said Love 911 was an okay film.
I could see the actors worked well together and although they didn’t really captivate me. The story was okay. It was not riveting or inventive.
The most interesting part of the of the story was seeing the imperfectness of the two lead characters and seeing them overcome those aspects and growing together.
