I'm no drama critic but being a Zhong Ji series lover, I simply have to leave a review for a drama that I have been anticipating for so long.

Story 7/10
I'm sure many would agree that all was fantastic before Da Dong vanished from the future and returned to his own time. And then, the story started going downhill from there. The twists in the plot were very much forced together and the abrupt change in their love interest was also fustrating. It's disappointing that a drama so hyped up and anticipated for turned out this way.

Cast 8/10
I have to say the cast has great chemistry, especially between Jiro Wang (Da Dong) and Ceng Pets (King/Lei Ting). I feel they portray their roles as leader of the class extremely well in their own ways.

Music 7/10
Ceng Pets is a great singer and her theme song (yi ge ren xiang zhe yi ge ren) for Da Dong was practically the fuel for me to continue watching till the end. On the flip side, I wish they changed up the closing song of the drama to suit the story line as King suddenly let go of her love for Da Dong. I mean, that song was for Da Dong and now that her love interest has changed, it did not make sense to play that song any longer.

Rewatch 6/10
Although the story line was frustrating for a Zhong Ji series lover like me, I have to admit the cast did a great job at portraying their roles. I started out watching this drama not knowing a single one of them except for Da Dong, Duan Chang Ren and Jin Bao San, but as the drama progressed I find myself accepting each and every character as well as the role that they play in class. However, this does not mean that I like how the plot headed enough for me to rewatch it. Perhaps I will when I run out of dramas, and rewatch only the first half of the story.

Overall 7/10
To end off this review, please pardon my fangirl rant:
I feel that I have been cheated to watch till the end of this drama. Why didn't I stop watching when Da Dong vanished from the future?!
Oh, a fangirl's frustrations...

So, I should first say that when I started watching this, it is only because I was watching the KO Re-member series (2016), but I really wanted to see more behind the KO series, so I went back to look for anything made earlier and this is one that I found.

This series started pretty exciting, but I started to get bored (and a little upset)  starting with how they handled the main character.  Wang Da Dong starts off as the main character (the reason the story started) and half-way through they started a whole new story (probably as filler or to get into the other characters also maybe to add new characters), but it felt slightly off and it didn't get back on track until the last 5 epsiodes of the series.  Though, I believe they did it to pass the KO series onto the next generation.

I felt all the emotion from the actors and just adored all the characters to a point that it made me laugh and cry.

Go ahead and try it out if you have time on your hands - it has its moments of fun. :)
